You will influence the product lifecycle, grow technically, and contribute to improvements visible in production. As a Development Engineer - Mechanics, you will: Participate in and drive the development process from concept and design to prototyping, verification, industrialization, and product maintenance. Work in a cross-functional team including product owners, scrum masters, mechanical engineers, electronics and software developers, production engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing. Take responsibility for test strategies, design decisions, manufacturing documentation, and documentation in accordance with applicable requirements and standards. Initiate and implement improvements to manufacturing methods and introduce them into production. Collaborate closely with suppliers in technical discussions. Key responsibilities: Take ownership of mechanical design in technical development projects. Concept development, detailed design, and verification. Prototype development and testing. Prepare manufacturing documentation and fixtures. Product maintenance and troubleshooting for existing products. We are seeking someone with: A Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. At least 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent, in mechanical product development. Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Extensive experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks). Preferred skills and experiences: · Design for volume manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA) and GD&T. Material and process expertise - plastic design, molding and casting processes, and metal machining. Understanding of dynamic forces, such as recoil loads. Experience with PLM systems and FEM analyses. · Cross-functional experience within areas such as electromechanics, optics, testing, and quality. Industry-specific merits - knowledge of weapon systems; competitive shooting, hunting or military.
