DEINE AUFGABEN As the Global Senior Manager, Social Media & Influencer Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of our social media and influencer strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and business growth. You will own the end-to-end management of social channels, influencer partnerships, and content creation, ensuring campaigns are innovative, culturally relevant, and aligned with brand and business objectives. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Brand, Product, Digital, Trade Marketing, and external partners, you will translate strategic concepts into compelling content and campaigns while leveraging analytics to optimize performance and demonstrate measurable impact. Social Media Strategy & Execution: * Develop and execute an integrated social media strategy aligned with business and marketing goals. * Execute the daily posting and community management of Meta (Instagram/Facebook), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and future channels. * Lead planning and executing of always-on content, campaigns, and editorial calendars. * Manage external partners and collaborate with Brand Team for content creation. * Collaborate with brand and product teams to ensure message consistency. Influencer & KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) Marketing: * Own influencer & KOLs strategy, from discovery and vetting to contracting, briefing, and performance analysis. * Build long-term relationships with influencers & KOLs who authentically align with our brand. * Manage budgets, negotiations, campaign execution, and compliance (FTC, platform rules). * Evaluate influencer performance and ROI using data-driven measurement. Content & Creative Direction Steering: * Guide the development and execution of high-performing social content (video, short-form, graphics, storytelling series). * Identify and implement trending formats and platform features to keep our channels culturally relevant. * Work with creative teams and external partners to produce compelling and on-brand assets. * Optimize content for each platform’s best practices and audience behaviour. Analytics & Optimization: * Set KPIs and track performance across all social and influencer programs. * Analyse insights to guide content adjustments and future campaign planning. * Present regular reports to leadership with strategic recommendations. * Stay current on platform algorithms, new features, competitive activity, and industry trends. Cross-Functional Collaboration: * Partner with Digital team to integrate organic and paid strategies. * Work with customer support and product teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience and respond to customer inquiries. * Collaborate with Brand team to manage campaign calendars and messaging alignment. * Support Trade Marketing team on collaborative campaigns for events, promotions & integration of KOL. DEIN PROFIL Critical: * 7-10+ years of experience in social media and/or influencer marketing, or related roles. * Proven track record of owning social channels and building high-performing programs. Excellent understanding of platform best practices. * Experience managing Influencer and KOLs ecosystems and relationship building. Highly desirable: * Experience with the coffee industry and coffee equipment. * Strong command of English language (ideally, native speaker). German is a plus. * Strong hands-on executional skills and mentality is a must. * Strong creative instincts, understanding of storytelling, and ability to brief/design content. Technical skills as a plus: * Excellent understanding of analytics tools and social listening tools. * Analytical mindset with experience turning data insights into actionable strategies. Management skills: * Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns at once. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and willingness to adapt.

In this role, you'll be responsible for building visibility and advancing awareness for Airbnb by leading and developing strategic influencer content that showcases the unique benefits of our platform and its integration with cultural and right time moments. This role will be pivotal in crafting and executing best-in-class influencer content, and building digital stories across a spectrum of platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and eventually YouTube that inspire discovery, drive brand preference, elevate consideration, and foster advocacy for the brand. The world and thus our industry is changing quickly so the ideal candidate will be comfortable with responding promptly and changing course as needed when priorities evolve and shift A Typical Day: * Partner closely with the broader influencer team to bridge Airbnb's established influencer programs and our owned social strategy, upholding the same high standards for creator selection and content quality across all channels * Build and maintain relationships with creators and influencers who genuinely reflect Airbnb's brand values, negotiating partnership terms that support a steady flow of high-quality content for our social channels * Curate the right creators and content for our owned social channels, staying ahead of platform trends and shifts in the social media landscape * Bring genuine cultural curiosity to the role, drawing on the broader creative landscape — spanning design, art, fashion, music, and beyond — to keep Airbnb's social presence feeling fresh and culturally relevant * Collaborate cross-functionally with strategic, creative, production, and operational partners to align on campaign goals, brief creative work, and ensure smooth end-to-end execution of influencer content. * Plan and execute influencer activations, managing end-to-end logistics including itinerary development, on-site coordination, content capture, and post-trip reporting * Coordinate with external agencies on campaign execution, influencer contracting, and communications to foster authentic storytelling * Monitor, track, and analyze influencer campaigns using tools such as CreatorIQ and Sprinklr, translating data into actionable insights Your Expertise: * 7-9 years experience in influencer work * Bachelor’s Degree * Knowledge and expertise in building and executing influencer strategies across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube * Proven track record of working with organic social, and deep knowledge of social content formats, specs, and best practices. * Proven body of work and direct 1:1 experience working with influencers, including passion-based and/or tech/ product for large-scale and bespoke brand collaborations, events, and activations * Strong influencer relationships * Excellent writing and verbal communication skills * Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders, particularly marketing, production, BA, legal, and customer support. * Excellent attention to detail * A passion for pop culture, social media, and trends * Working knowledge and familiarity with social listening and influencer management tools i.e. Sprinklr, CreatorIQ Your Location: Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant will need to be based in San Francisco, California to be able to conduct their work. JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Strategy & Execution: Responsible for the growth and operation of our overseas influencer/creator network. Develop and execute creator collaboration strategies aligned with our goals for user growth, GMV, ROI, and brand awareness. 2. Talent Pool Management: Build and maintain a robust pool of overseas creator resources. Continuously expand our network by recruiting gaming, general entertainment, and community-focused influencers/creators (KOLs/KOCs) from platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, Discord, and Twitch. 3. Campaign & Conversion: Plan and launch impactful marketing initiatives by integrating platform business objectives, gaming trends, and regional market insights. These initiatives include KOL campaigns, micro-influencer missions, CPS/affiliate programs, and community engagement projects to drive content creation, generate sales leads, and improve conversion rates. 4. Team & Process Management: Oversee the daily management of the overseas team, including goal setting and breakdown, performance tracking, efficiency management, training, and post-project reviews. Establish and refine team processes, including SOPs for influencer outreach, data dashboards, creator databases, and lead management systems to enhance overall team efficiency and partnership success. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams in China, including Growth, Merchandising, Design, Product, and Business Development, to ensure seamless integration of influencer collaborations with platform events, product features, and promotional campaigns. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Bachelor's degree or above, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in overseas influencer marketing, creator marketing, affiliate marketing, or a related growth marketing role. Experience in team management or as a project owner is a plus. 2. Deep understanding of the creator ecosystems on mainstream social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, Discord, and Twitch. Experience or a strong network in the US and/or European markets is highly preferred. 3. Professional working proficiency in English is required, with excellent cross-cultural communication skills. Proficiency in Mandarin is a significant plus for effective collaboration with our teams in China. 4. A genuine passion for gaming or general entertainment products. We highly value candidates who are avid gamers, active members of online gaming communities, or enthusiasts of ACG (Anime, Comics, Games) culture.
