Tessl is a fast-growing Series A startup based in London, founded by Guy Podjarny. We’ve raised over $100M from world-class
investors including Index Ventures, Accel, GV, and Boldstart, and in 2025 we were ranked #2 in Sifted EU’s B2B SaaS Rising 100 and
#20 in Sifted's AI 100.
At Tessl, we are building the context layer for AI coding agents, and a platform for AI-native software development. As an early
member of the team, you’ll help shape how we build, scale and support a company operating at the edge of AI and software
development.
We're looking for a Developer Advocate to lead Tessl's hands-on enablement on the ground in the US, with a focus on workshops and
customers. Someone who lives and breathes agentic coding and can bring it into large organisations, helping their developers and
their leaders understand what AI native development makes possible.
This role pairs deep technical credibility with a commercial lens. You'll design and run workshops, deliver them on-site at
customers, present at meetups and conferences, and support Tessl's commercial activities where needed. You'll be as comfortable in
front of an enterprise engineering team as you are on a conference stage.
You'll also bring a clear view of how change actually lands in big organisations. Adoption, rollout, inertia and pushback are all
part of the work, and you'll have strategies to get past them.

person, do apply anyway!

You actively use and advocate for AI tools to streamline workflows and are eager to guide the organization in adopting AI-assisted engineering practices. We're more than just colleagues; we're a group of professionals with a shared mission to connect diverse cultures. With flexible working hours and trust in your productivity, we are in sync with your team's general locations and time zones to foster effective and seamless collaboration. * Virtual Shares - An ownership mindset in every role. We believe everyone should share in our success, and that's why every employee receives Virtual Shares, linking your contribution directly to DeepL's growth and rewarding you with a stake in our future. * Regular in-person team events: we bond over vibrant events that are as unique as our team, from local team and business unit gatherings, to new-joiner onboardings, to company-wide events that bring us all together–literally. * Monthly full-day hacking sessions: every month, we have Hack Fridays, where you can spend your time diving into a project you're passionate about and get the opportunity to work with other teams–we value your initiatives, impact, and creativity. * 30 days of annual leave: we value your peace of mind.
