The B2B Team:
The central B2B team focuses on the priority needs of the 50,000+ businesses, non-profits, and government organizations that use
Proton for work: https://proton.me/business. We expect significant growth in B2B users in the coming years across all Proton
products.We have built solutions that span multiple products as well as product-specific features. We work closely with product
teams and other central teams such as Account and Payments. We are part of a group that is split between Europe and Taiwan and
operates 24/7 to ensure reliable service for our users.
Tech Stack and Tools:
* Our frontend is based on React
* Our backend API is based on PHP/Symfony
* All our client-code is open-source and GPL3.
* We are migrating our infrastructure to Kubernetes

The Team:
As a Frontend Engineer on the Inbox team, you will play a crucial role in developing Proton's most vital services, including Mail
and Calendar. We expect you to be customer-centric, continuously learning, passionate about technology and usability. You are an
adept at turning technical complexities into seamless user experiences. Effective teamwork, collaboration with Product, Design,
APIs, and your team, and data-driven decision-making are essential aspects of this role.
Key responsibilities:
* Take end-to-end ownership of mobile application development projects: you'll be comfortable with scoping projects, walking back
from deadlines and being able to discern the important from the superfluous
* Foster a culture of innovation by exploring new technologies, methodologies and approaches to web development – we tackle
complex engineering challenges with creativity and ingenuity
* Design for scalability, considering factors such as data caching, network bandwidth and server load
* Implement solutions to monitor and alert the team regarding the state of Inbox web clients
* Prioritize customer satisfaction by maintaining a customer-centric mindset throughout the development process, continuously

What you will do
* Develop new features: Developing, deploying and supporting high-quality user experiences, including feature development and
implementation.
* Drive adoption and user retention: you will contribute to the user onboarding and delivering a delightful experience to retain
* Collaboration: Work closely with backend, product owners, designers, QA, and other engineers to take initiatives from ideation
to completion.
* Code review and optimization: Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability,
and performance optimization.
* Testing: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, on all test layers to ensure reliability and future ease of
development.
Job requirements

* Extensive experience of professional software development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
* Experience with React or 2+ similar frameworks, developing performant and reusable components.
* Experience contributing to an API codebase, bonus points if in PHP

* Familiarity with other best practices for ensuring code quality, including CI/CD.

* Experience with monitoring and observability tools

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Frontend Engineer to join our growing Lumo AI team. You’ll work across all functions of
Lumo, turning designs into responsive, fast and reliable interfaces. Your code will shape the day‑to‑day experience of users,

Full Stack Engineering
Create, evolve and sustain high‑performance features that tie together the front‑end and back‑end layers of our modern stack.
Ensure every component scales smoothly and integrates cleanly.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Turn UI mockups into production‑ready React components.
* Integrate those components with our backend services using TypeScript and modern data‑fetching patterns.
* Optimize performance so pages load instantly even on slower connections.
* Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and other engineers to ship features end to end.
* Own the quality of your work: write tests, document decisions and participate in code reviews.
