About Prelude
Prelude is redefining how companies authenticate and onboard users - turning what's traditionally a cost center into a growth
lever.
Our flagship product lets businesses send OTP codes with the best price-to-conversion ratio on the market, dynamically selecting
the most effective channel in real time (optimized SMS, WhatsApp, and more) while actively blocking spam and fraud that legacy
providers miss.
Founded in 2022 by former Zenly team members who lived the pain of broken SMS authentication firsthand, we're already serving
fast-growing companies across Europe and are expanding into the US.
But authentication is only the starting point - we're building the platform for trust at scale, with an ambitious roadmap of
market-defining products ahead.
Why join us
Today, we're a team of 60 and growing, based in Paris, building products that power secure and high-performance user onboarding
for companies across the world. We believe small, highly skilled teams outperform large, fragmented organizations, and we are
intentional about staying focused on impact, quality, and speed.
We operate with a flat org structure and value in-person collaboration, which helps ideas move faster, decisions stay grounded,
and teams take full ownership of what they build.
Our values
We care deeply about our customers, our teammates, and the quality and reliability of what we ship.
We move fast, test in the real world, and iterate quickly rather than over-optimizing in theory.
We take responsibility end to end, from identifying problems to delivering outcomes and learning from results.
The role
You’ll own our LinkedIn Ads entirely - you’ll set up tracking, run experiments, work with brand, and report on what’s working.
You’re going to work very closely with our sales team to understand what a qualified lead actually looks like, and enjoy working
with data to demonstrate the impact your work is making. This role reports into our Marketing Manager, Nam.
What will you be doing?

At Joko, we help consumers shop smarter. Our mission is to revolutionize shopping, empowering people to find what they need, make informed decisions, and save money. Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 105 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). More than 6 million users already save money every day at 10,000+ merchants with Joko. From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts and carbon tracking, we keep expanding our products to make shopping smarter. We’re now building an AI-powered shopping assistant to help users find the best products by price, quality, and environmental impact. Having reached profitability in our core market, we’re now scaling globally, with a strong focus on the US. It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us! 🧚 OUR MARKETING TEAM No one is more creative and data-driven than this team — they have the best of both worlds. The Marketing Team's mission is to get our product into the hearts of millions of users around the world. * The Growth Team builds and scales innovative growth engines to conquer markets, attract, and retain users. * The Brand Team shapes Joko's long-term vision and builds a lasting emotional connection with users. * The Campaign & Merchandising Team drives our B2C campaign calendar and elevates the shopping experience. * The B2B Marketing Team positions Joko as the top partner in our space and builds a standout employer brand. Led by Isa, our CMO, the team is constantly innovating to take the business to new heights. 🌟 WHY THIS ROLE IS SPECIAL CAMPAIGNS & MERCHANDISING SITS AT THE INTERSECTION OF THREE THINGS THAT MATTER A LOT TO JOKO, AND THAT MAKES THIS SEAT GENUINELY RARE: * You own the moments when Joko shows up to millions of users. Joko has 6M+ users, and campaigns are how we turn a regular Tuesday into a shopping event. As Head of Campaigns & Merchandising, you set the calendar, the bar, and the cadence, and you see the impact land on millions of users within hours, not quarters. * You own a real commercial lever, not a marketing afterthought. Media Fees are a growing revenue line for Joko, and the campaign calendar is what unlocks them. You'll own what we sell to merchants, how we package it, and how we grow it, with the autonomy to shape the product end-to-end, partnering closely with B2B. * You lead a real team with executive visibility. You inherit a team of three plus one intern, including the Content Factory, and you'll define how it evolves as the function grows. This is a build role, with direct visibility to the CMO and the founders. 🎯 WHAT YOU WILL DO As Head of Campaigns & Merchandising, your mission is to own Joko's B2C campaign calendar end-to-end, scale the Content Factory and Media Fees product as Joko grows, and sharpen media performance so it becomes a meaningful driver of Joko's revenue. You will report to Isa (our CMO) and partner closely with B2B, Brand, Product, Data, and senior leadership. * Own the B2C campaign calendar. You'll plan and execute with your team Joko's campaign moments from end to end: choosing the merchant offers, shaping the creative narrative, coordinating B2B, Brand, CRM, Influence, Merchandising and measuring impact. You set the calendar, you defend it, and you raise the bar campaign after campaign, adjusting based on what worked, what didn't, and what's coming next in the business. * Define and grow the Media Fees strategy. Media Fees are how Joko monetizes campaign visibility for merchant partners. You'll define the offer, the packaging, and the pricing, always protecting user experience first. You'll partner with B2B to grow the revenue line, monitor booking ratios, build the Media Fees kit that the B2B team takes into merchant conversations, and own monthly performance reporting. * Lead the Content Factory. You'll oversee the in-house team producing campaign content across CRM, Merchandising, Social, and Influence. You'll set quality standards, scale output with AI where it makes sense, and make sure every piece delivered to merchants and brand partners is on-brand, on-time, and good enough to be proud of. You'll also be one of the key points of contact with selected key merchants on content. * Drive measurable impact. You'll obsess over the metrics that matter (traffic on the app, conversions, engagement, advertising revenue) and use data to continuously sharpen strategy and execution. You'll report impact to senior leadership in a way that's sharp, honest, and actionable. * Build and grow the team. You inherit a team of three plus one intern. You'll define how this team evolves over time: what to hire next, what to automate, where to specialize. You'll coach the team to operate at Joko's standard. 👀 WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Experience: You have 8+ years of experience in campaign management, e-commerce, merchandising, or a closely related field. You've owned a campaign calendar end-to-end at a meaningful scale, in an environment where commercial impact is measured weekly, not yearly. * Creativity: You bring original ideas to the table, you have a strong eye for what makes a campaign land with users, and you push the bar on what "good" looks like, turning a regular calendar moment into something users actually notice and remember. * Business sense: You understand what makes a deal worth a campaign moment, what makes Media Fees worth paying for, and how to protect user experience while growing revenue. You make calls that hold up commercially. * Team leadership: You've managed a small team before and you see growing people as part of the job. You know how to balance owning the desk yourself with developing the people around you. * Cross-functional fluency: You're at home working across teams and functions, and you know how to align stakeholders without losing momentum. * Data-driven: You move between strategy deck and spreadsheet without friction. The metrics that matter (traffic, conversion, engagement, revenue) are your second language. * AI-curious: You have hands-on experience using AI tools to scale content and campaign work, and you have strong opinions formed from real experiments, not from reading about it. * Languages: You are fluent in French (our primary market) and have full work proficiency in English (our working language). 💎 OUR PERKS (Some of the benefits listed below are available to full-time positions only) At Joko, we believe that flexibility and trust are essential. Our work environment reflects this through: * Flexible remote : If you live in Paris, you can choose to work from our office or from home with no constraints. If you live elsewhere, we can provide access to a coworking space and a coworking budget. * Work from anywhere : Want to spend a month in Italy while working? You can work from most countries in the world for up to 3 months per year. On top of that, we offer plenty of perks: * 💸 Top-market compensation * 📈 Equity for everyone with the chance to own a piece of what you build * 🤖 Half-day each week dedicated to leveling up with AI by exploring new tools, iterating hard, and sharpening your skills * 🌴 Yearly offsite in amazing locations and budget for team-building events & monthly in-person gatherings * 💪 Contribution to your ClassPass subscription * 🍼 8-week leave paid 100% for the second parent * …and much more, check the full list here! 🤝 OUR HIRING PROCESS 1. Intro call: Quick screening with the Hiring Manager or the Talent team. 2. Step 1 – Team interview (45 min): Conversation with two Joko team members (could include the Hiring Manager, people from the team you’d join, or colleagues from other teams). 3. Step 2 – Role-specific assessments * For non-engineering roles: A take-home case study followed by a 45-min interview. We assess both your output and how you think in real time. The exercise will be relevant to your role (e.g. analysis, strategy, or process design). * For engineering roles: A 90-min live technical interview on CoderPad covering code understanding, review, system design, and product thinking (with AI serving as a collaboration tool). 4. Step 3 – Leadership interview (45 min): Conversation with a SteerCo member and a Founder. 5. References: Up to 3 calls with former colleagues or managers. ☕ You may also be invited for coffee with team members to get a feel for our culture.
