We are currently recruiting for Moleaer, the global leader in nanobubble technology — and we are now looking for a practical, hands-on and motivated Field Service Technician to support installations, commissioning, service and technical operations across the Nordics. This is a unique opportunity to work with breakthrough water technology that is changing how industries use one of the world’s most important resources: water. Moleaer’s patented nanobubble technology helps industries produce more while using less water, energy and chemicals. With more than 2,500 installations in over 50 countries, Moleaer is already making a global impact in aquaculture, water treatment, food production, natural resource recovery and environmental restoration. Now, together with AQT, that impact is growing in the Nordics. About the role As a Field Service Technician, you will be the person who helps bring advanced nanobubble systems to life in the field. You will work hands-on with installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of Moleaer’s nanobubble generation equipment and related systems. The role involves mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and process-control work, including pumps, piping systems, compressors, PLC, SCADA and HMI systems. You will also work closely with customers, project managers, engineers and site teams, making sure systems are installed safely, correctly and professionally. This is a role for someone who likes solving real-world technical problems, enjoys being out in the field, and wants to be part of a growing technology with real environmental impact. What you will do You will: • Install, commission, test and operate Moleaer nanobubble systems. • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment in the field. • Work with pumps, piping, compressors, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and control systems. • Support SCADA, HMI and PLC-related operations. • Carry out water quality testing and collect operational data. • Prepare accurate field reports and documentation. • Train operators and customers on system operation and maintenance. • Recommend improvements based on field experience. • Support safe working practices and follow HSE requirements. • Represent AQT and Moleaer professionally in front of customers and partners. Who we are looking for We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable, energetic and technically curious. You should enjoy working with tools, equipment and customers — and you should be comfortable taking responsibility in the field. You do not need to know everything from day one, but you must be willing to learn quickly and work with focus, structure and care. The ideal candidate has: • Residence in Norway, preferably in or near Trondheim. • Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English. • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel. • A hands-on technical background. • Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or process systems. • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office tools. • A strong focus on safety, quality and professional conduct. • The ability to work independently and take ownership. • A positive attitude when working with customers and colleagues. • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Physical ability to work in field environments, including some lifting. • Ability to swim and tread water. Experience from aquaculture is a strong advantage, but not a requirement. Why join us? This is not just another technician role. You will be part of bringing an innovative and sustainable water technology into the Nordic market, supporting customers in industries where water quality, oxygenation, efficiency and environmental performance matter. You will get the chance to work with international technology, hands-on field operations and a growing company. For the right person, this is a role with real responsibility, variety and growth potential. Apply now Are you a hands-on technician who wants to work with future-focused water technology? Then we would love to hear from you.
