ABOUT THE TEAM Netlify runs on usage. Developers buy credits, teams consume compute and bandwidth, and enterprises commit to spend. The Accounts and Billing area owns how all of that works: the accounts foundation every customer signs into, the billing platform that meters and charges them, and the pricing and packaging model that sets what they pay. It sits at the center of how Netlify grows, and it touches Finance, Growth, UX, Sales, and the executive team. As a Staff Product Manager, you’ll help define and evolve Netlify’s monetization model, bringing a strong point of view while partnering across the company to make high-impact decisions, and you will build hands-on next to engineering, Finance, and design rather than run a team from above. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders, including the CEO and CFO, as we continue to evolve Netlify’s pricing and packaging strategy. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Lead the strategy and evolution of pricing, packaging, and monetization, including plans and tiers, the credit and usage model, seat-versus-consumption economics, on-demand and overage rates, enterprise commitments and discounting, storage pricing, regional pricing, and annual plans. * Ship billing as a product: metering accuracy, invoicing, payments, refunds, and customer-facing usage visibility, including the billing and usage interfaces enterprises are asking for. * Steward the accounts foundation: sign-up and authentication, identity, orgs and teams and seats, roles and permissions, account security, and fraud and abuse at the top of the funnel. * Build and lead the pricing and packaging experimentation program, using data, customer insight, and sound judgment to guide decisions: product analytics, conversion and activation, and credit-consumption telemetry. * Partner with Finance to develop pricing approaches that balance customer value, business goals, and long-term sustainability. * Partner with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to set priorities, evaluate tradeoffs, and drive alignment on the most impactful opportunities when demand exceeds capacity. WHAT YOU'LL BRING * 7+ years of product management experience, including experience leading pricing, packaging, monetization, or other commercially significant product initiatives for developer-focused, SaaS, or usage-based products. * Deep experience with usage-based, credit-based, subscription, or seat-based business models, including metering, tiering, overages, enterprise commitments, discounting, and the tradeoffs among them. * Hands-on depth with billing platforms (Orb, Stripe, Zuora, Metronome, or similar), billing pipelines and ledgers, and billing treated as a customer-facing surface. * A track record of driving measurable business outcomes, including revenue impact, through product strategy, experimentation, and execution. * Comfort in ambiguity - You identify missing information, frame tradeoffs, develop a point of view, and bring clear recommendations forward when decisions matter. * Demonstrated ability to influence decisions across Finance, Sales, UX, and Engineering, and to partner effectively with senior leaders and executives. * You balance analytics, customer understanding, and product judgment without over-indexing on any one input. THIS ROLE IS A GREAT FIT IF * You have experience monetizing AI, agent, inference, or other usage-based products, including familiarity with token, credit, or consumption-based pricing models. * You have stood up international and regional pricing and non-US payment methods. * You enjoy operating at the intersection of product, finance, and go-to-market strategy. * You’re energized by the opportunity to shape how a business grows, partner with senior leaders, and remain deeply engaged in the product work that makes it happen. Applying Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? Please apply anyway! When applying please include: A resume or short listing of your job history & skills (link to a LinkedIn profile would be fine). We appreciate a cover letter explaining why you would enjoy working in this role at Netlify to get to know you a bit better, though this is not required and will not impact your application. Our mission is to “build a better web” and that cannot be done without a diversity of skill sets, backgrounds and thoughts. Of everything we've ever built at Netlify, we are most proud of our team. Netlify is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are devoted to building a team of people with diverse backgrounds and lifestyles. Driving equality empowers our team, enables us to innovate, and helps us maintain a more inclusive environment. We don’t discriminate against employees or applicants based on gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, race, military/veteran status, citizenship, pregnancy status, or any other differences. If we can do anything to provide a better interview, i.e. accommodate a disability, then please let us know by emailing accommodations@netlify.com. ABOUT NETLIFY Netlify is the most popular way to build, deploy, and scale modern web applications, empowering everyone from fast moving solo developers to enterprise teams. Millions of developers and organizations rely on Netlify as their platform of choice for composing web applications that are production ready, performant, and flexible. Now, as we embrace the next era of software development, we are embedding the same fluid, intuitive experience into the Agent Experience (AX), making it just as simple for intelligent agents to understand, interact with, and act on our platform as it is for developers. Whether your user is human or machine, Netlify ensures the path from idea to URL is seamless, fast, and deeply reliable. We are a Series D company that has raised over $200M from investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins, EQT, Bessemer, BOND, and Menlo Ventures. As a fully distributed company, we aim to create a company culture where the best idea can come from anywhere and strive to be thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative in our work. If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’re excited to connect with you! At Netlify, we are committed to a compensation philosophy that prioritizes fairness and equity, positions our employee compensation competitively in the market, recognizes and rewards performance, and takes a comprehensive approach to our rewards package. We anchor our compensation philosophy on a market-based approach, therefore salary ranges may differ depending on the labor cost in a particular location. The salary provided is in addition to robust benefits and participation in Netlify’s equity plan. Our hiring range for this role is targeted at $200,000 - $270,000 for most US-based locations. Candidates outside the US or in premium markets should consult with their Talent Acquisition partner regarding location-based ranges, as they may be higher or lower than the average US range listed. The starting pay will be determined based on multiple factors, including expertise and skills, market demands, experience, internal equity, and applicable geographic location. These compensation packages and ranges are subject to change and may be modified in the future.

In this critical role, your primary identity isn't compliance—it's unit economics and cross-functional execution. You will serve as the dedicated operational glue ensuring our customer acquisition funnel, vendor cost bases, and product rollouts perfectly align with our financial forecasting models. You will be the proactive driver who meets regularly with Product and Operations to extract insights on upcoming, planned, and live initiatives, compressing that operational reality into clear data inputs for FP&A modeling. You will own the tracking of operational actuals, monitor global unit costs against efficiency targets, and assess the commercial impact of all KYC initiatives. Simultaneously, you will act as a premier project manager for the Business Operations team—capable of leading high-stakes operational initiatives, from deploying new product updates to launching entirely new geographical markets. If you are an exceptional stakeholder manager who can translate operational velocity into clear financial implications, manage cross-functional timelines, and navigate ambiguity, this role offers a direct runway for growth. ON THIS ROLE, YOU'LL BE: 1. COMMERCIAL TRACKING & FP&A PARTNERSHIP (PRIMARY FOCUS) * Proactively map, track, and collate all upcoming product roadmaps, features, and departmental OKRs across different markets that carry a potential cost or capacity impact. * Establish a regular cadence with Product and Operations teams to extract operational insights on planned and live initiatives. Compress these complex, moving updates into structured, predictable data inputs for FP&A forecasting models. * Rigorously monitor and track unit costs across different markets and SaaS vendor segments against strict efficiency targets to identify sub-optimal financial performance. * Analyze and evaluate the real-world commercial impact, ROI, and efficiency gains of product updates and operational process changes. * Support the corporate FP&A team by regularly updating operational actuals, tracking vendor billing/usage patterns, and maintaining departmental headcount and resource models. * Manipulate operational data using Excel and visualization tools to provide actionable commercial insights to senior leadership. 2. END-TO-END PROJECT MANAGEMENT & STRATEGIC LAUNCHES * Act as the lead non-technical project manager for critical operations projects, including scaling into new European markets and localizing onboarding frameworks. * Seamlessly bridge communication gaps and drive alignment between Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Finance. * Own project roadmaps, drive accountability across technical and non-technical teams, manage external vendor timelines, and proactively mitigate risks to keep launches on schedule. 3. CORE BIZOPS & STAKEHOLDER ALIGNMENT * Translate complex operational metrics, capacity constraints, and process variances into clear, compelling narratives for corporate leadership. * Maintain a true "BizOps" mindset—building scalable, documented processes, designing performance dashboards, and solving complex problems as a generalist. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: * 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as FinTech, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Business Operations, or Finance Business Partnering. * You don't need to be building financial models from scratch, but you must have a strong "way with numbers"—deeply comfortable working with data, updating headcount/budget inputs, and tracking KPIs. * A track record of successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder project timelines and delivering cross-functional outcomes (e.g., product or market launches). * Exceptional proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is required. Experience with data visualization/BI platforms (e.g., Looker, SQL) is highly advantageous. * A proven ability to partner with corporate leadership, push back constructively using data, and keep diverse technical and non-technical teams aligned. * Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a highly analytical business/engineering field. * Fluent English is required. Additional European languages (German, French, or Italian) are advantageous. * Operational experience in KYC, or regulated SaaS environments is a plus, but a strong commercial mindset and data literacy are prioritized. WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN: * 25 days paid annual leave * 3 paid days off for volunteering or L&D activities * Extended maternity and paternity leave covered by the company * Personal L&D budget * Additional health & dental insurance * Mental wellbeing platform * Multisport Card * Food Vouchers * Snacks, light food, drinks in the office * WFH equipment allowance * Flexible working from home * Sabbatical Leave * Stock Options * Salary: €33,200 to €37,350 TIDEAN WAYS OF WORKING At Tide, we champion a flexible workplace model that supports both in-person and remote work to cater to the specific needs of our different teams.
