Om rollen Som elsäkerhetsledare ansvarar du för elsäkerheten under projektens genomförande inom högspänning och elnät. Rollen innebär att du leder säkerhetsarbetet ute i fält och säkerställer att arbetet utförs enligt gällande regelverk, rutiner och säkerhetskrav. Du arbetar nära projektledning, arbetslag, beställare och övriga aktörer i projekten och har en viktig roll i att skapa en trygg och säker arbetsmiljö under hela genomförandet. Rollen kräver att du är närvarande ute i verksamheten under pågående arbete och kan fatta beslut kopplade till elsäkerhet direkt i fält. Vi söker dig som För att lyckas i rollen behöver du ha erfarenhet av arbete inom högspänning och känna dig trygg i att leda säkerhetsarbete ute i fält. Du har god förståelse för regelverk och säkerhetsrutiner samt erfarenhet av att arbeta strukturerat med riskbedömningar och dokumentation i projektmiljöer med höga säkerhetskrav. Du är en person som kommunicerar tydligt, samarbetar väl med andra och har förmåga att skapa förtroende i projekt där säkerhet alltid är högsta prioritet. Rollen kräver att du är självgående, strukturerad, beslutsför och trygg i att ta ansvar under pågående arbete. Du som söker är bosatt i närregionen, då tjänsten är tänkt att eventuellt leda till en anställning på företaget. Arbetet innebär drift, underhåll och installation av elektriska kraftanläggningar, ställverk och transformatorstationer (från 0,4 kV upp till 400 kV). Subject description Electric Power Engineering covers studies of sustainable systems for production and transpor-tation of electrical energy, and the interaction between power grid, electricity production, and electricity consumption. Project description The project aims to develop models that describe how HVDC installations affect, and are af-fected by, power quality in electrical networks up to 150 kHz. Measurements will be used to further develop existing models and to distinguish between primary and secondary emissions as well as nonlinear interactions. The results will provide the basis for a generalized model of emission and immunity related to HVDC installations.The study will also investigate network resonances, interactions between multiple HVDC in-stallations, and the effects on transformers and other grid-connected equipment. The project is carried out in collaboration between Luleå University of Technology (LTU) and Hitachi Energy. Duties A PhD position involves both theoretical and practical work. As a doctoral student, you will be trained in scientific research through the publication of journal articles and presentations at national and international conferences. You will also complete both mandatory and elective doctoral courses. In addition, you may have the opportunity to gain teaching experience. As a researcher, you often work as a neutral party in various contexts, providing an excellent opportunity to learn how to manage and contribute to challenging development and research projects. The opportunity HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group within Hitachi Energy that develops, manufactures, and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and to connect offshore wind farms to the grid. We are looking for two project engineers to join the Harmonic Analysis team within HVDC. We welcome applications from both entry-level and experienced candidates. Develop tools in Excel, MATLAB, or Python to efficiently analyze and process large amounts of data. Participate in technical discussions and negotiations with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. The Wireless Systems team within the Communication Systems Group has a long and strong track record on 4G, 5G and 6G and Beyond mobile communications systems with currently 4 PhD students and 2 Postdocs. About the research project In this research environment, a postdoctoral researcher will be recruited within the Wireless Systems team to perform world-class research on 6G RDT-assisted situation-aware ISAC D-MIMO systems for resilient and efficient ITS and 6G-NTN. You will participate in interdisciplinary national and international research projects on 6G wireless systems with a special focus on proactive beamforming and resource allocation. In particular, you will be active within our new Chalmers Area of Advance Transport project https://research.chalmers.se/en/project/12938, and in our ongoing Swedish Research Council (VR) Research Environment https://research.chalmers.se/en/project/12006.
