Om kunden En 68årig man med grav synnedsättning behöver stöd för att bryta sin sociala isolering och skapa fler meningsfulla kontaktpunkter i vardagen.  Han trivs särskilt med att ta promenader i skogen, äta på restaurang och göra utflykter eller handla i Stockholm. Dessa aktiviteter ger honom både glädje och trygghet,  och fungerar som naturliga sätt att komma ut och träffa människor. Han uppskattar också att öppna och få sin post uppläst, vilket underlättar vardagen och minskar stress kring information han annars har svårt att ta del av. KVALIFIKATIONER För att vara kontaktperson behövs ingen särskild utbildning. Det viktiga är att du är lyhörd, organiserad och empatisk samt har ett lugn, mycket tålamod och är duktig på att motivera.  Du bör ha ett stort engagemang för människor och en vilja att skapa en relation som varar under en längre tid. Sömn är avgörande för god hälsa, välmående och förmåga att delta i vardagslivet. Sömnproblem är vanligt förekommande och påverkar personer med demens och deras anhöriga. Den övergripande målsättningen med forskningsprojektet SOVA är att anpassa och testa interventionen DREAMS-START (Dementia RElAted Manual for Sleep; STrAtegies for RelaTives) för svenska förhållanden med syfte att minska sömnproblem hos personer med demens och deras anhöriga. Interventionen som utvecklats i Storbritannien har där visat sig vara acceptabel, kliniskt effektiv och kostnadseffektiv. Arbetsuppgifter Den person vi söker ska arbeta med forskningsprojektet SOVA. Personen ska arbeta med att anpassa och testa DREAMS-START för svenska förhållanden. Arbetsuppgifterna omfattar bland annat att rekrytera och hålla kontakt med studiedeltagare, samla in data med intervjuer och frågeformulär, analysera och rapportera data, och sammanställa vetenskaplig litteratur. Personen ska också arbeta med patient- och medborgarmedverkan vilket är en central del av projektet. Arbetsuppgifterna omfattar också att sprida forskningsresultat via vetenskapliga publikationer och andra kanaler samt aktivt närvara vid forskargruppens seminarier och möten. Andra uppgifter vad gäller undervisning och administration vid Institutionen för kvinnors och barns hälsa kan tillkomma (max. 20%). Anställningen förlängs i så fall med motsvarande tid. Kvalifikationskrav Den person vi söker ska: Ha avlagt examen på avancerad nivå inom arbetsterapi, socialt arbete, psykologi, vårdvetenskap eller näraliggande disciplin. Vara behörig till utbildning på forskarnivå och fullgjort minst 240 högskolepoäng, varav minst 60 högskolepoäng på avancerad nivå inklusive ett självständigt arbete om minst 15 högskolepoäng, eller på något annat sätt förvärvat i huvudsak motsvarande kunskaper.
