1,000 Times Someone Dared to Take the Leap: A Personal Milestone
When I founded Bytajobb.se, it started with a simple yet persistent frustration: why does finding and applying for a job in Sweden still have to feel so complicated and fragmented?
Too often, candidates encounter outdated job postings, broken URLs, intrusive registration walls that hide the employer's identity, or cluttered ad banners. From day one, the mission of Bytajobb has been the exact opposite: a lightning-fast, transparent, and honest platform where job seekers are connected directly to the employer’s authentic application form — without unnecessary intermediaries or delays.
Today, we passed an exciting milestone: over 1,000 candidates have clicked through directly to employer application pages via our dedicated application gateway since we enabled tracking on August 7.
While we naturally don't track whether every single candidate hits final submit in the external ATS, to me, each click represents a real person taking an active step toward their next chapter, a first job, or a long-awaited career change.

To be completely honest — there is an incredible joy in building and developing this platform.
Tweaking and shipping new features, engineering search algorithms that return relevant openings in milliseconds, building smart AI tools like our CV Optimizer and Salary Coach, and then seeing real people actually use them to improve their careers and lives — it is deeply rewarding.

- 250+ clicks routed via Arbetsförmedlingen open job feeds.
- 350+ clicks connected straight into industry-leading ATS platforms such as Personio, Teamtailor, Greenhouse, ReachMee, Varbi, and SmartRecruiters.
- Broad Sector & Geographic Diversity: Top employers receiving candidate interest range from retail leaders (Matas, Adlibris) and public health (Region Östergötland) to fast-scaling tech companies and professional agencies (Vindex, Lovable, Wrknest, Adecco).
- 41,000+ Automated Bots Filtered: Behind the scenes, our security layer shielded over 41,000 automated scraper requests so that employers receive only genuine candidate traffic and users experience zero latency.
Why Direct Links and Transparency Matter
When you discover an exciting job opening on Bytajobb, our purpose is never to lock you inside a walled garden. Our role is to provide the market's cleanest search experience with intelligent filters (such as commute times, verified salary statistics, and skill tags), and then hand you over directly to the employer's official recruitment portal.
Seeing over a thousand candidates take that leap in just over a week is the best validation we could ask for that this approach resonates.
