LET US DESCRIBE THE CHALLENGE WE OFFER As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of customer‑facing digital products and internal platforms that support the vehicle purchasing journey. You will work across frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, validating solutions and ensuring that features meet both business and technical requirements before release. Acting as a key partner to Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Operations teams, you will translate product requirements into effective test strategies and ensure that defects are identified early and resolved efficiently. Your responsibilities include: * Ensuring business requirements and acceptance criteria are fulfilled through comprehensive testing of user stories and system workflows * Designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated tests across frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations * Validating quality, reliability, performance, and security of new platform capabilities and releases * Collaborating with Software Engineers, Technical Leads, Product Managers, and Designers to translate product requirements into effective test strategies * Identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking defects, while supporting teams in root‑cause analysis and resolution * Contributing to test automation frameworks and improving overall test coverage and development practices * Working closely with cross‑functional agile teams to continuously improve software quality and delivery processes * Monitoring and evaluating quality metrics and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives * Staying up to date with industry best practices, modern QA methodologies, and emerging technologies, including AI‑assisted testing approaches * Documenting test plans, test results, and quality standards across the development lifecycle In your daily work, you will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Technical Leads, and Operations teams, ensuring alignment across technical and business needs while driving quality across the full development lifecycle. Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a skilled Test Automation and Software Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving functions. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain integration test suites for Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines. * Create and manage automation frameworks for verifying ADAS, autonomous driving functions, and sensors such as Radar, Lidar, and Camera. * Define test plans and develop test cases for various environments, including HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), boxcar, and full vehicle testing. * Conduct tests on self-developed software and system-level functionalities, ensuring comprehensive coverage. * Manage multiple projects and releases, tracking what to test, when, and in which test environment. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and fix bugs in the CI pipeline, and provide fault analysis and root cause determination. * Develop dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure traceability. * Document tests in CarWeaver and maintain up-to-date records. Qualifications: * Excellent Python programming skills with a strong object-oriented approach. * Solid knowledge of Pytest and experience with Robot Framework. * Proficiency in HIL and SIL environments with experience in simulation tools like dSPACE. * Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet. * Experience with Vector tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and other relevant tools like Zuul, XCP, and DLT logging. * Strong experience with data visualization tools like Grafana, PowerBI, or similar.
