HEAD OF PROCUREMENT ANALYTICS & INSIGHTS Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our Finance team shapes the company's future by directing capital to high-impact investments, developing robust financial strategies, and ensuring we deliver long-term value while pursuing our ambitious mission. We’re looking for a Head of Procurement Analytics & Insights to join our London team. This is a hybrid role. In this role, you’ll set the strategic direction for how Procurement utilises data, turning internal and external insights into a distinct commercial advantage that shapes category strategies, mitigates risk, and drives executive decision-making. Get to know our Finance team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING You’ll be joining the Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE) team. The CoE is responsible for enabling procurement to operate with clear standards, strong governance, and high-quality insight that supports commercially grounded decision-making. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: * Analytics & Insights Strategy: Define and maintain the end-to-end procurement analytics strategy, setting the direction for how we use data and market intelligence across value, risk, compliance, and supply market dynamics. * Data Architecture & Governance: Own the procurement data architecture, defining data domains, quality standards, and lineage to ensure analytics requirements are embedded upstream into process and system designs. * External Intelligence & Scanning: Build a systematic external scanning capability combining macroeconomic trends, commodity cost drivers, and ESG data to generate practical, category-relevant insight and scenarios. * Executive Narrative & Reporting: Shape the procurement insight narrative for senior leadership and ExCo, producing robust, executive-ready reporting on performance, value delivery, and outlook. * Advanced Analytics Enablement: Sponsor advanced analytics capabilities—including should-cost, TCO, and business case modelling—partnering with Digital & AI teams to embed analytics into daily workflows. * Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the primary interface to Finance and enterprise analytics functions, ensuring performance and risk reporting is trusted, consistent, and aligned across the global matrix. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE ESSENTIAL * Significant Commercial Intelligence Experience: Proven track record in procurement analytics, commercial intelligence, data strategy, or a closely related discipline within a complex, global matrix environment. * Data Architecture Expertise: Demonstrated ability to define data architectures, KPI frameworks, and automated reporting standards that translate complex data sets into structured commercial opportunities. * Strong Financial Acumen: Deep experience in financial analysis, including TCO, cost modelling, business cases, ROI, and understanding P&L impact. * Executive Stakeholder Influence: Proven capability to translate technical analysis into clear strategic narratives, challenging assumptions and influencing senior leaders and Finance partners. * Strategic Problem Solving: Strong commercial judgement with the ability to combine internal operational data with external market intelligence to guide category strategies. NICE TO HAVE * Procurement Background: Hands-on experience within procurement, supply chain management, or category sourcing. * Strategic Framework Proficiency: Familiarity with strategic tools such as PESTLE, Kraljic matrices, supplier preferencing, and purchasing chessboards. * Advanced Analytics Exposure: Insight into AI-enabled data environments, statistical modelling approaches, or benchmark subscription management. * Vendor Management: Experience selecting and managing external advisors, specialist research suppliers, or data providers. HEAD OF PROCUREMENT TRANSFORMATION & OPTIMISATION Join us in our mission to grow and empower local economies, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our Finance team shapes the company's future by directing capital to high-impact investments, developing robust financial strategies, and ensuring we deliver long-term value while pursuing our ambitious mission. We’re looking for a Head of Procurement Transformation & Optimisation to join our London team. This is a hybrid role. SHAPING THE FUTURE OF PROCUREMENT We are investing in a brand-new, future-oriented Global Procurement Centre of Excellence that is shaping the future of DoorDash Inc. Procurement. This role is a pivotal part of that new organisation. Please note: While this is a global group role driving strategy across the DoorDash Inc. portfolio, you will be locally employed on a Deliveroo contract based out of our London office. In this role, you’ll help us design, build, and embed our future-state procurement function—ensuring that procurement evolves as an integrated system, rather than a set of disconnected initiatives, across a complex, global, multi-entity organisation. Get to know our Finance team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING You’ll be joining the Procurement team within our broader Finance function. In a global, multi-entity marketplace, procurement effectiveness depends on more than sourcing execution; it requires a coherent operating model, clear processes, strong digital enablement, and sustained capability uplift. This role is deliberately distinct from enterprise prioritization and delivery governance. While our Chief of Staff and PMO ensure work is sequenced and delivered in line with enterprise capacity, you will focus squarely on what is being built and how. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: * Target Operating Model & Design Authority: Define and maintain the target operating model for Global Procurement, covering structure, roles, decision rights, and ways of working to support growth, efficiency, resilience, and risk management. Act as the design authority for procurement transformation initiatives, ensuring absolute coherence across all build activities and resolving design tensions between global standardization and local flexibility. * Global Process Design: Own the design of global procurement processes, ensuring simplicity, scalability, and absolute clarity regarding decision-making, accountability, and cross-functional hand-offs. Sponsor the deep integration of process design with governance, data capture, and digital enablement. * Digital, Systems & AI Enablement: Own the procurement digital enablement agenda, including core procurement systems (sourcing, contracts, supplier management), workflow automation, and productivity tooling. Drive applied AI use cases that improve efficiency, insight, and decision quality, ensuring responsible, controlled adoption of AI in line with enterprise standards. * Transformation Build & Change Design: Sponsor and oversee build initiatives across process, digital enablement, automation, and capability to ensure solution designs align with the agreed target state and do not fragment the operating model. Set the overall strategy for change management, adoption, and capability uplift, partnering with specialist roles who own the localized delivery. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE Essential: * Significant experience architecture-designing global target operating models and process frameworks within complex, multi-entity corporate environments. * Proven ability to act as a Design Authority, with a track record of resolving design tensions between global standardization and local execution. * Strong understanding of modern digital procurement ecosystems, with hands-on experience scaling core procurement systems, workflow automation tools, and applied AI use cases. * Proven capability in strategic change management, with the ability to define the strategy for adoption, capability uplift, and operational readiness. * Exceptional stakeholder leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers (such as PMO, Chief of Staff, and Finance leads) to separate design from delivery governance. Nice to Have: * Experience operating within a fast-paced technology, marketplace, or hyper-growth corporate environment. * Familiarity navigating procurement ecosystems that bridge multiple major global brands or global entity integrations. WHY JOIN US? At DoorDash, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a massive marketplace that’s constantly evolving. We’re problem solvers, community builders, and innovators, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to: * 🔧 Make a visible impact every day: Your work directly improves experiences for merchants, consumers, partners, and dashers/riders worldwide. * 🌱 Learn fast in an entrepreneurial environment: Work close to the market with autonomy, pace, and real responsibility. * 🧠 Build a career, not just a role: Stretch yourself, develop new skills, and grow as the global business evolves. * 🌎 Deliver together in an inclusive culture: Collaborative, values-driven teams that support how you work best.
