Job Description
You will join Deezer's Product & Tech organisation of 200 people, including a design team of 11 designers. As Design System
Manager, you will own, evolve, and champion Tempo — Deezer's design system.
This is a role for someone who wants to do both build and run — working on the structural choices that shape the system, while
actively driving its adoption across the organisation.

From in-app messages and push notifications to emails, we ensure the right message reaches the right user at the right time. We work closely with the Ads Operations and CRM teams to support Deezer’s global engagement and monetization strategy. This team is part of the Customer & Monetization startup, a product and engineering unit focused on maximizing user conversion, retention, and monetization across the full user journey: from first app open, to account creation, subscription, and renewal. Our goal is to deliver fast, smooth, secure, and delightful experiences at every step. As a Front End Technical Expert, you’ll contribute both directly to our Messaging & Ads team and more broadly across the startup as a technical leader. What you will do: Technical Leadership * Coach and mentor team members to grow their technical skills * Drive architectural improvements and set coding standards * Lead technical discussions and advocate best practices * Define and implement cross-stack solutions along with your team’s members to solve customer’s problems and reach company’s objectives * Work closely with CRM & Ad operations teams to understand their needs and the tools they use Engineering Expertise * Build and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript and React * Optimize data interaction with GraphQL and contribute to our design system * Manage deployments and monitor metrics using Kubernetes (K8s) and Jenkins * Conduct code reviews to ensure performance, security, and maintainability Community & Collaboration * Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment * Define best practices and stack’s strategy in collaboration with the internal group of experts * Share best practices and knowledge across teams and represent the group in internal communities QUALIFICATIONS Must-Haves * Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and design systems. * Experience with Git, Kubernetes (K8s), and Jenkins. * Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills. * Communication in French and in English, both written and spoken. Apply now and do your part in bringing extraordinary music experiences to people’s lives! **Join Us** JOB DESCRIPTION The operation team is responsible for * Management of operational/day-to-day in relationships with Deezer’s payment Engineering team and identification of process inefficiencies * Monitor payment platform performance (authorization rates, PSP tracking), manage fraud risk operations, negotiate PSP rates, analyze transaction costs by method, and identify cost optimization opportunities. * Optimize subscription and churn data quality, implement internal control tools for payment processes and revenue reporting, and coordinate annual audits (statutory auditor deliverables, documentation, testing). * Expertise and support to Deezer teams (Customer care, Legal, Business) * Provide raw data for rights holder revenue reporting, budget tracking and accounting cut-offs; analyze monthly revenue variances * Ensure the payment system complies with local regulations (VAT, consumer protection laws, international legal developments) and maintain ongoing compliance of payment journeys and subscription management processes. * Lead subscription journey optimization, anti-churn mechanics development, conversion A/B testing, and the operational rollout of Deezer's pricing strategy. * Support commercial teams on B2B2C deals design, incorporate customer and internal stakeholder feedback to improve the user experience * Participate in QA testing phases for payment and offer-related releases. Your will : * Be the payment Operation guardian by owning daily payment operations processes, animate our continuous improvement approach, and help elaborate best practices, as we continue to launch and scale new payment products & services * Collaborate with other Payment Operations Analysts and Payment Engineering team and help foster knowledge sharing among the team * Participate in tight feedback loops with Payment product managers and other internal stakeholders to improve product & processes * Lead specific ad-hoc payment operations improvement projects QUALIFICATIONS * High knowledge of SQL and EXCEL * Strong analysis and recommendation methodology * Strong Project management skills * Previous experience in a payment processing environment * Curious and rigorous with figures * Excellent organizational and analytical abilities * Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English * Demonstrated team player with a curious mindset * Eager and easiness to collaborate with software engineers At Deezer, diversity drives innovation. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop tailored CRM campaigns to support engagement initiatives, making a tangible impact on our business’s goals. You’ll drive end-to-end processes to deliver innovative, personalised communications across all channels, with ownership of these topics. You will have the chance of working closely with various departments within our organisation, including Marketing, Editorial, Artist Relations, Data and Copywriting/Graphic Design.
