WHAT WE DO We’re building the last piece of the puzzle to help companies unlock AI code generation - the part that makes it actually safe to ship. AI is enabling engineers to write code faster than ever before. But software review and testing hasn’t caught up. Engineering leaders are drowning in long software review cycles and more bugs than ever. The bottleneck isn’t writing code anymore - it’s everything that comes after it. We spent 3 years building patented foundational technology to solve this. Since then, we’ve grown 5x year-on-year and now work with some of the most AI-driven engineering teams in the world - Notion, ElevenLabs, Dropbox, Discord, LaunchDarkly, Wiz, CoreWeave, Wealthsimple, and more, and are backed by the same investors behind Twilio, Twitch, Intercom and PagerDuty. Individual investors include the founders of Vercel, Datadog, Segment, Dropbox, the CTO of GitHub, CPO of Adobe, head of engineering at Cursor and many more. Our mission is to radically accelerate the pace of software development by empowering every engineer to ship at the speed their agents write code. This is an opportunity to join a company going through hypergrowth as we scale from millions of annual recurring revenue to $100m ARR. If this excites you, come help us build it! WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? You will be the first GTM Operator hire working directly under the Chief of Staff and CEO to do whatever it takes to increase revenue. You will work on growth projects across sales, revops, marketing and customer success and learn how to build a top-tier growth machine to sell to developers. The common thread is simple - you’ll experiment and learn how to operate across the full GTM surface, learn what works and build it into something that scales. This is not a strategy role. There’s no team beneath you, no playbook to follow, and no one to delegate the hard stuff to. Examples of projects you will work on * Hunt down pipeline: Own outbound sequences, write and manage newsletter sponsorships, run Google and Reddit ads * Build a dev community: Organize engineering events (dinners, drinks, panels) in NY, London and SF, sponsor relevant OSS projects, figure out where devs love to be and be there * Work on performance & brand marketing: Run conferences, sponsor billboards in SF, grow a LinkedIn following of developers, own G2 reviews * Improve mid-bottom funnel: Create landing pages, produce customer case studies, create viral product launch videos * Revops: Improve the tracking and metrics foundations across sales and marketing so we know what’s working YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE IF * ⭐ You learn fast and can context switch - you have strong analytical thinking and can work from first principles; ambiguity / lack of experience in a domain doesn’t faze you * ⭐ You are highly agentic - you have a bias to action, move fast, take ownership without being asked, and get genuinely frustrated when things stall * ⭐ You’re a hunter - chasing down revenue feels energizing, not exhausting or stressful * ⭐ You want to roll up your sleeves - you enjoy producing the output, not delegating out * ⭐ (Bonus) You already create - you write blogs, post on LinkedIn, build things in your spare time just because you enjoy creating things from scratch THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF * You expect to work regular working hours and never to travel; our team, customers, and investors span SF, London, NYC. * You need a structured environment, clear handoffs, or someone to model the work for you * You’re a strategist looking to delegate the hard work to someone else * You take it personally when work you've invested in gets deprioritized or redirected abruptly REQUIREMENTS * 2+ years of work experience in a fast paced environment (early stage startup, hypergrowth scaleup, MBB consulting, FAANG, Tier 1 bank or similar foundation) * Bonus if you’ve been an early employee (< #20) at a tech startup or have a STEM degree from a Tier 1 university YOU MAY LOOK LIKE THIS * Learning by osmosis: You have been in rooms with decision makers at MBB / Tier 1 bank / FAANG and are now eager to actually execute * Growth / Generalist problem solver: You are currently a founder’s associate or work across any sales, marketing or strategy & ops at an early stage startup and want more ownership * Builder: You are an ex-founder, have started something from scratch whether in uni or as a side hustle (can be a community, a blog, an app), or been part of an incubator (YC, EF, Antler) PERKS ♥️ * 🍲 Unlimited food & drinks in office - including daily lunch as a team, and your own Amazon business account to buy whatever snacks you want for the office. * 💻 A setup you’ll love - everyone has a standing desk, brand new Macbook, your choice of ergonomic peripherals, and a £2k WFH budget to make home just as good * 🏄♀️ £300 monthly wellness stipend - Third Space gym, reformer pilates, cold plunge, however you want to keep your best * 🎁 We celebrate you - £400 in gifts on your birthday and work anniversary every year * 🌴 Team offsites - we work and play hard, we’ve done offsites in Italy, Abu Dhabi and local 5-star resorts * 📚 Unlimited book budget - we have a growing in-office library and actively encourage everyone to add to it, whether you want to ramp up your knowledge of software testing, or become a better startup operator! * 📌 In-person, 4 days a week - at our office in Shoreditch * + many more! PEOPLE BEHIND METICULOUS Guillermo Rauch (founder of Vercel), Jason Warner (CTO of GitHub), Calvin French-Owen (founder of Segment), Jared Friedman (YC partner and founder of Scribd), Scott Belsky (CPO of Adobe), Arash Ferdowsi (founder of Dropbox) and many others are all personal investors in Meticulous.
ABOUT FINTO Finto is on a mission to reinvent how enterprises run their finance operations. Starting with AI-powered automation for accounts payable, we eliminate manual invoice handling, supplier chasing, 3-Way-Matching and ERP data entry. Backed by Y Combinator, we're building the future of enterprise accounting. Our mission is to free the world's finance teams from repetitive, low-value tasks so they can focus on impactful work. That starts with building a place where everyone can do their best work. Whether you're building on our platform, partnering with our customers, or shaping our story: We just make things finance teams want. ABOUT THE ROLE We are hiring an Entrepreneur in Residence to work directly with our CTO. You will take ownership of important, loosely defined problems and deliver results. Your initial focus will be customer integrations and solution engineering. You will lead strategic customer initiatives, translate recurring needs into product direction, and help reduce the time our CTO spends on solution scoping. As you prove ownership, your scope can expand into product discovery, internal engineering, or AI adoption. This is a hands-on role. You will build, investigate, make decisions, and follow through. It is not a support or project-management position. WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead strategic customer initiatives Own important customer engagements from discovery through delivery. Join technical conversations, clarify requirements, and act as the CTO’s delegate where agreed. Turn recurring customer needs into clear input for the product roadmap. Drive product and technical discovery Turn open questions into specifications and prototypes. Evaluate whether we should build, buy, or integrate. Research technical options and recommend a clear course of action. Improve how our engineers work Remove friction from onboarding, permissions, tooling, and internal infrastructure. Build secure, self-service workflows that help engineers work effectively. Lead practical AI adoption Test new AI tools and workflows across Finto. Measure whether they improve speed or quality, train the team on useful applications, and introduce appropriate guardrails. Your priorities will change as the company changes. One week you may scope an ERP integration. The next, you may prototype a product idea or improve an internal workflow. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * You have built something from scratch and taken responsibility for the outcome. * You are comfortable working through ambiguity without waiting for detailed instructions. * You can understand software architecture, build prototypes, and work with modern AI and LLM tools. * You are familiar with Node.js, TypeScript, and integration-heavy systems. * You have worked at startup speed, whether as a founder, early engineer, forward-deployed engineer, or in a Founder’s Office or Chief of Staff role. * You communicate clearly in German and English. * You want to take on more responsibility as you grow. Experience with ERP integrations, fintech, developer tooling, or customer-facing technical work is helpful but not required. WORKING AT FINTO * Work with the founders on problems that directly affect customers and the company. * Take ownership early. Your scope will grow with the results you deliver. * Join our in-office team in Munich five days per week. * Receive 25 vacation days and two company-wide recharge days. * Build relationships through Finto’s Y Combinator and San Francisco network. INTERVIEW PROCESS 1. Introductory call: 20 minutes with our CEO 2. Technical call: 30 minutes with our CTO 3. Working session: 90-minute technical challenge 4. Culture interview with our CPO 5. Meet the team 6. Offer

We were founded in Switzerland in 2017 and today we operate globally from offices in Zurich and London. We encourage diversity and are an international team coming from 26 different countries and speaking 25 different languages. The Opportunity We're hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly alongside our CEO and Co-Founder, Armon. This is not an administrative role. You'll be the CEO's strategic thought partner and execution engine, someone who can take an ambiguous brief, structure it, drive it to completion, and hand it off cleanly. Your job is to make the CEO and the leadership team dramatically more effective. You'll operate as a senior individual contributor with no direct reports (at least to begin with), owning high-impact projects from zero to one across strategy, go-to-market, product, operations and corporate development. Once a project reaches steady state, you'll hand it off to the relevant team and move to the next needle mover and big bet. This role reports directly to the CEO with a dotted line to the Head of Ops & AI. What You’ll be Doing Strategic Execution * Own and deliver high-impact, mission-critical and strategic projects end-to-end, from scoping through execution to handoff * Lead cross-functional initiatives that sit between Product, GTM, and Operations, ensuring alignment and driving execution * Lead preparation for Board meetings, investor updates, and company all-hands. You’ll need to distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives * Support annual and quarterly planning cycles and execute recurring business reviews * Lead international expansion, including establishing new entities and building local teams CEO Force Multiplier * This role sits within the CEO's office, which includes our Finance Lead and Head of Operations. You'll partner closely with both across a wide range of initiatives and workstreams. * Serve as a sparring partner on strategic decisions, bringing structured thinking and fresh perspectives * Shadow the CEO to build deep context across all functions and "clone" the CEO's judgment and operating style * Free up CEO bandwidth by proactively identifying the highest-leverage priorities and ensuring they get the time they deserve Go-to-Market, Product and other pioneering Initiatives * Drive strategic GTM bets and partner with Operations for full deployment. Examples include new strategic partnerships, new market motions, and commercial strategy * Help strengthen positioning, messaging, and go-to-market collateral by partnering with Product Marketing and Sales * Support pricing strategy development and market-facing initiatives * Act as a commercial force multiplier for the CEO in sales, customer, and partner meetings * Operationalise Advanced Services (our paid offering for outsourced equity plan admin) together with GTM Leaders and RevOps Corporate Development * Support fundraising efforts and investor engagement * Drive M&A target identification, commercial assessments, and Board materials * Lead due diligence processes for M&A, coordinating internal and external workstreams Organisational Effectiveness * Connect dots and force straight lines across the organisation — identify where things are stuck and unblock them before the evidence becomes overwhelming * Develop dashboards, reports, and frameworks to measure what matters * Help codify learnings from key initiatives for the broader organisation * Sunset our existing OKR framework and introduce a new concept that allows each and every Ledgista to understand what we’re building at any point in time. * Champion Ledgy's AI-first operating model. Leverage AI tools extensively to maximise personal and organisational output What We're Looking For * 5-8 years of experience, with a foundation in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or high-growth tech operating roles * Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. You extrapolate with minimal input and deliver without hand-holding * Structured, systems thinking and problem-solving. You are capable of taking a vague brief and turn it into a scoped plan with clear deliverables in days, not weeks * Outstanding written and verbal communication, with experience producing concise, CEO-grade narratives, board decks, and investor materials * Strong commercial acumen with experience in financial analysis, strategic assessments, or go-to-market strategy * High EQ and ability to influence without authority. You build trust quickly and rally cross-functional teams around shared goals * Deeply tech-savvy and AI-fluent. You actively use AI tools in your daily work and are excited about pushing the boundaries of what's possible by also becoming an advocate internally * Bias for action and ownership. You have a track record of delivering results, not just analysis * Based in London (or willing to relocate) with flexibility for international travel (likely 1-3x per quarter) * Comfort with multi-timezone collaboration (Ledgy operates across UK, Switzerland, and Germany) and will be expanding to the US later this year. Nice to Have * Experience in B2B SaaS or regulated FinTech companies * Prior Chief of Staff, strategic operations, or founder's associate experience at a growth-stage company * Exposure to M&A transactions, fundraising, or corporate development * Experience working across European markets (UK, DACH, Nordics) What This Role is NOT To set expectations clearly: * Not BAU. You won't own (many) recurring operational processes. You build from zero to one and hand off. * Not an EA. This is a strategic role, not a calendar or logistics role * Not a layer. You'll be a connector, not a bottleneck. The leadership team operates as a tight, coordinated group — you amplify that, not slow it down * Not a consultant. You'll be in the weeds, executing alongside the team, not producing decks from the sidelines * Not a stable role. You’ll constantly be faced with ambiguity, changing priorities and new challenges Your Growth Path This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with direct exposure to every facet of scaling a venture-backed, high-growth European Software & FinTech leader. Typical progression will lead to senior positions in general management, operations, or entrepreneurship, ideally at Ledgy. Half of our LT team were promoted from within. 💜 What We Offer * Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) * Meaningful equity participation via our tax-efficient EMI scheme — real ownership in a profitable, high-growth company. Pure upside from here * Direct mentorship from the CEO with unparalleled exposure to company strategy and board * Recharge and re-energize with flexible working hours, 25 days of vacation, and up to 40 days of remote work from outside your home country * Professional development with a generous yearly learning & development budget
