About the Role
As an Extra Chef, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional food experiences across the hotel’s restaurants, banqueting operations, and events. You will bring energy, innovation, and a commitment to quality while supporting the kitchen team in maintaining the highest culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen department, ensuring exceptional culinary experiences throughout the hotel.
Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with brand standards and guest expectations.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maximize guest satisfaction, responding positively and professionally to requests and challenges.
Take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Contribute to departmental goals and hotel objectives, supporting operational excellence and business performance.
Assist in controlling food costs, stock levels, and waste while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Build strong working relationships with team members and actively promote the company’s culture and values.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and all relevant legislation and company standards.
Support audit requirements by maintaining accurate documentation and following established procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment in banquet and à la carte.
Passion for food, quality, and continuous learning.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as required.

With 11 restaurants across Sweden and Spain, we serve authentic Italian hospitality to over 3,000 guests daily. Our diverse team of 500 culinary professionals from 53 nationalities is as dynamic as our menu – blending passion, innovation, and a love for great food. Our portfolio includes several distinct restaurant concepts: Basta is our casual dining brand, focused on delivering high-quality guest experiences in beautifully designed environments with strong value for the guest. The concept is suitable for the everyday experience, all from family’s to date nights. Basta have today 10 established restaurants across Sweden. Florentine is an more upscale trattoria than Basta, offering refined relaxed luxury experiences in glamorous settings inspired by 70’s italy. Today Florentine is established in Stockholm, Marbella and soon also in Madrid. Trattoria Giorgio’s is a new multi-unit Italian concept launched in late 2025, this is our local neighborhood version of an Italian restaurant. The single unit is today located in Östermalm, Stockholm. Lola Maria, is our first Spanish concept, and is our love letter to the Andalusia region. The concept is focusing on social dining with tapas, quality wines and creative cocktails. In May 2026, we will also open our new concept Villa Valentina in Slussen, Stockholm. This will be a modern Spanish farmhouse restaurant inspired by Mediterranean warmth and community around food. The location is seen as the best restaurant spot in Sweden, and is our biggest establishment in Stockholm so far. Growth & Expansion We are in an exciting phase of growth. Basta is expanding towards 18 locations in Sweden by 2030, while Florentine continues its international journey with openings in Madrid, Berlin and Oslo. Apart from this we expanding the UIG portfolio with more unique concept. Your Role As our Head Chef, you won’t just lead a kitchen – you’ll be the balance between discipline, commitment and creating great energy in the brigade. You’ll be hands-on in both the creative and operational aspects of the kitchen, ensuring that every dish is a masterpiece. Responsibilities include: Crafting and executing innovative menus in collaboration with our Group Head Chef. Ansvarsområden I rollen ansvarar du tillsammans med Head Chef för den dagliga genomförandet av köksverksamheten. Du följer upp förberedelser, tillagning och presentation och säkerställer att maten håller rätt kvalitet och följer Aspire Lounges standarder. Du har ett särskilt ansvar för buffén och ser till att den är visuellt tilltalande, välfylld, ren och i ordning under hela dagen. Du vägleder köksteamet i deras dagliga arbete, stöttar kollegor i produktion och säkerställer att rutiner för service, förberedelser och städning följs. Du ansvarar för daglig varumottagning, kontrollerar leveranser och ser till att lagerhantering och rotation sker korrekt för att minimera svinn. En viktig del av rollen är att säkerställa att alla krav kring livsmedelssäkerhet, hygien och arbetsmiljö följs i både kök och bufféytor. Du rapporterar till Head Chef och bidrar med återkoppling kring drift, kvalitet och teamets arbete, med målet att bygga ett stabilt och välfungerande kök från dag ett. Kvalifikationer och erfarenhet Krav Genomförd kockutbildning eller motsvarande yrkesutbildning Giltigt intyg inom livsmedelshygien Erfarenhet från professionellt kök, till exempel som Chef de Partie, Senior Kock eller liknande God praktisk matlagningskompetens och fokus på kvalitet Förmåga att arbeta effektivt i en miljö med varierande tempo God kommunikationsförmåga och samarbetsvilja Möjlighet att arbeta i säkerhetsklassad flygplatsmiljö Erfarenhet från bufféverksamhet, premium hospitality eller ledande ansvar i kök är meriterande.
