We're building tomorrow's delivery platform At Instabee, we're on a mission to become the undisputed #1 delivery service in the eyes of our consumers. We need exceptional engineers to help us get there. We're looking for a Staff Engineer who can bridge the gap between ambitious business goals and technical execution. Someone who identifies opportunities, builds the right solutions, and raises the bar for everyone around them. The role You will be embedded in one of our Consumer teams, the part of Instabee that sits closest to real users and real deliveries. This is a hands-on role where you will spend most of your time building, not reviewing architectural slide decks. Your job is ensuring we're building the right things, in the right way, at the right scale. Aside from the work within the team, you will be part of a community of Staff Engineers working on cross-organisation projects and challenges. You'll help translate business ambition into engineering execution, surface hard problems before they become expensive ones, and actively drive the engineering culture at Instabee by raising the bar, sharing knowledge, and making the organisation better at building software. What you'll do Ship things users notice Identify and build features that move the needle on user satisfaction. You'll own problems from idea to production, together with your team. Keep the team unblocked Spot friction before it becomes a bottleneck. That might mean improving test setup, fixing a flaky deploy pipeline, or untangling a service boundary that's slowing everyone down. Make technical trade-offs explicit Help the team choose solutions that are good enough now and don't paint us into a corner later. Scale and velocity both matter, and your job is to hold both at once. Connect code to outcomes Help engineers understand why what they're building matters. Work with Product and Data to make sure our systems produce the signals we need to make good decisions. Raise the bar around you Coach engineers, share what you know, and push for a culture where we learn from mistakes instead of hiding them. What we're looking for You don't need to be an expert in everything your team touches, but you should care deeply about succeeding together as a team. You're a doer. You don't just think about problems; you solve them. You're a technical leader who has built web and app (ideally consumer facing) solutions at scale, and can move fluidly between deep technical dives and high-level architectural trade-offs. You're strategic and pragmatic. You know that perfect is the enemy of good. You favor iteration, deliver value early and often, and ship before you have the ideal solution. You're a communicator and collaborator. You make complex technical concepts accessible to non-technical partners and thrive in cross-functional environments where engineering, product, and business move together. You're a quality advocate who holds a high bar for stability and security, without killing the pace of innovation. If this sounds like the kind of challenge you'd wake up excited to tackle, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Get We can promise you'll be challenged, develop your skills, and work with truly amazing and competent colleagues. If you like change and want to set new processes and ways of working — this is the place for you. Of course, we have all the standard benefits in place. But beyond that, we also offer: 🌇 Sky-High Office — Modern and newly renovated with 360-degree views across Stockholm 🐶 Puppy Friendly — Bring your dog to work (we've got a whole floor for our furry friends) 🏓 Fun & Games — Ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball, and a karaoke room 👶 Six Months Parental Pay — Step away and give your little one the care they deserve 🎂 Your Birthday Off — Celebrate yourself with a day off each year ⏰ Hybrid & Flexible — Work the way that works for you Our Commitment to You Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of who we are. We're committed to creating an inclusive work environment where everyone's perspectives are valued and every employee has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. Next Steps This role requires a background check via Svensk Bakgrundsanalys, which includes a review of public criminal records. The results are handled confidentially as part of our standard recruitment process in Sweden. Please note that we are on holiday during July and will be starting to look at resumés first week of August. Ready to join us? We'd love to hear how you think about technical leadership and what excites you about solving logistics at scale.

TL;DR As Nordic Community Lead you own how Lovable shows up across the Nordic builder ecosystem. Your job is to make Lovable the most visible, most loved, most talked-about builder tool in the region, not by buying ads, but by showing up everywhere builders gather. Every founder dinner, every hackathon, every demo day, every campus build night. You'll design and run Nordic-specific community concepts, build relationships with the accelerators, incubators, and investors moving builders in the region, and run community activations across Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway. Lovable sells itself once people try it, your job is to make sure the right people try it, in the right rooms, at the right moments, and turn that into compounding business outcomes for the region. ABOUT LOVABLE Lovable lets anyone and everyone build software with any language. From solopreneurs to Fortune 100 teams, millions of people use Lovable to transform raw ideas into real products — fast. We are at the forefront of a foundational shift in software creation, which means you have an unprecedented opportunity to change the way the digital world works. Lovable-built applications and websites are visited hundreds of millions of times a month, and our enterprise footprint is compounding fast. And we're just getting started. We've grown to 150K+ community members in our first year, with passionate builders across 80+ countries creating everything from side projects to production applications. We're a small, talent-dense team building a generation-defining company from Stockholm. We value extreme ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration. The Nordic team is being built deliberately small and exceptional, every hire matters, and every hire shapes what comes next. THE ROLE This is a high-energy execution role for a low-ego operator. Within your first six months, the ambassador network is active and running its own events, the activation playbook is repeatable, You'll be measured on real outcomes: from activations shipped and the signups they generate to active ambassadors and the events they run. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Run and grow the Nordic ambassador network, from city leads to student ambassadors. Host regular meetups for them, be their go-to supporter, and help them grow Lovable's presence in their city, campus, or scene. * Partner with relevant companies, VCs, accelerators, and incubators on co-hosted events, portfolio workshops, and founder activations, and ship them end to end. * Ship activations that move the business: builder dinners, regional hackathons, founder office hours, "ship in a weekend" sprints. Every activation has a number attached before it happens (signups, hand-raisers, MAU lift) and a short report after. * Be in the rooms that actually matter (Nordic flagship events, demo days, university hackathons, VC portfolio gatherings, founder Slacks and Discords), with a clear reason to be there and a clear outcome you're driving. * Run workshops and hands-on build sessions for founders, operators, builders and students who haven't tried Lovable yet. Get new users to their first real "wow" moment with the product, fast. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 2–4 years running community, events, or ecosystem programs at a fast-moving tech, SaaS, AI, or developer-tools company, with events and programs you've personally shipped end to end and numbers you can show for them. * Deeply networked in the Nordics. You already know the student orgs, city communities, accelerators, and builder hubs, or you know exactly how to get into them. * Energized by execution. You'd rather run ten great events than write one strategy deck, and you're happy spending real time on the road across the region. * Real conviction in AI as a foundational shift. You believe Lovable plays a significant role in how software gets built, and you can articulate why to a founder audience that's already seen every AI pitch this year. * Zero-to-one builder. You can take a half-formed idea, turn it into a concept, ship it, measure it, and iterate, without needing a team around you to do it. * Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language. Swedish is a strong plus. THE TEAM You'll report to Aino Bergius, Head of Nordics, and work alongside the rest of the Nordic team and the central Community team. You'll be based at Lovable HQ in Stockholm and spend meaningful time on the road across Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, and the rest of the region. ABOUT YOUR APPLICATION Please submit your application in English. It's our company language, so you'll be speaking lots of it if you join.
