We're building tomorrow's delivery platform At Instabee, we're on a mission to become the undisputed #1 delivery service in the eyes of our consumers. We need exceptional engineers to help us get there. We're looking for a Staff Engineer who can bridge the gap between ambitious business goals and technical execution. Someone who identifies opportunities, builds the right solutions, and raises the bar for everyone around them. The role You will be embedded in one of our Consumer teams, the part of Instabee that sits closest to real users and real deliveries. This is a hands-on role where you will spend most of your time building, not reviewing architectural slide decks. Your job is ensuring we're building the right things, in the right way, at the right scale. Aside from the work within the team, you will be part of a community of Staff Engineers working on cross-organisation projects and challenges. You'll help translate business ambition into engineering execution, surface hard problems before they become expensive ones, and actively drive the engineering culture at Instabee by raising the bar, sharing knowledge, and making the organisation better at building software. What you'll do Ship things users notice Identify and build features that move the needle on user satisfaction. You'll own problems from idea to production, together with your team. Keep the team unblocked Spot friction before it becomes a bottleneck. That might mean improving test setup, fixing a flaky deploy pipeline, or untangling a service boundary that's slowing everyone down. Make technical trade-offs explicit Help the team choose solutions that are good enough now and don't paint us into a corner later. Scale and velocity both matter, and your job is to hold both at once. Connect code to outcomes Help engineers understand why what they're building matters. Work with Product and Data to make sure our systems produce the signals we need to make good decisions. Raise the bar around you Coach engineers, share what you know, and push for a culture where we learn from mistakes instead of hiding them. What we're looking for You don't need to be an expert in everything your team touches, but you should care deeply about succeeding together as a team. You're a doer. You don't just think about problems; you solve them. You're a technical leader who has built web and app (ideally consumer facing) solutions at scale, and can move fluidly between deep technical dives and high-level architectural trade-offs. You're strategic and pragmatic. You know that perfect is the enemy of good. You favor iteration, deliver value early and often, and ship before you have the ideal solution. You're a communicator and collaborator. You make complex technical concepts accessible to non-technical partners and thrive in cross-functional environments where engineering, product, and business move together. You're a quality advocate who holds a high bar for stability and security, without killing the pace of innovation. If this sounds like the kind of challenge you'd wake up excited to tackle, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Get We can promise you'll be challenged, develop your skills, and work with truly amazing and competent colleagues. If you like change and want to set new processes and ways of working — this is the place for you. Of course, we have all the standard benefits in place. But beyond that, we also offer: 🌇 Sky-High Office — Modern and newly renovated with 360-degree views across Stockholm 🐶 Puppy Friendly — Bring your dog to work (we've got a whole floor for our furry friends) 🏓 Fun & Games — Ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball, and a karaoke room 👶 Six Months Parental Pay — Step away and give your little one the care they deserve 🎂 Your Birthday Off — Celebrate yourself with a day off each year ⏰ Hybrid & Flexible — Work the way that works for you Our Commitment to You Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of who we are. We're committed to creating an inclusive work environment where everyone's perspectives are valued and every employee has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. Next Steps This role requires a background check via Svensk Bakgrundsanalys, which includes a review of public criminal records. The results are handled confidentially as part of our standard recruitment process in Sweden. Please note that we are on holiday during July and will be starting to look at resumés first week of August. Ready to join us? We'd love to hear how you think about technical leadership and what excites you about solving logistics at scale.
About the role Are you a driven person with a passion for complex sales and building long-term business relationships? Do you thrive on creating new connections and finding innovative solutions? Then you might be who we need! As we continue to grow and increase our International footprint we are now looking for several proactive and entrepreneurial Sales persons who, with creativity and perseverance, can target and win over strategic key clients. Some of the things you will do Strategically identify and approach a select group of high-potential companies, focusing on building deep, long-term relationships rather than quick wins. Develop and implement creative strategies to reach decision-makers and initiate meaningful dialogues. Navigate and drive complex business processes with longer sales cycles, turning leads into lasting partnerships. Show strong initiative and a solution-oriented mindset by quickly analyzing client needs and presenting innovative solutions that create clear value. Establish trustful and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders at prospective clients, laying the foundation for long-term successful collaborations. Your future team You will join a fast-moving and ambitious business development team that focuses on expanding our strategic client base. The team is collaborative, creative, and highly motivated, with a passion for challenging the status quo and finding new ways to grow the business. Together, we aim to push boundaries and drive Instabee’s continued success across Europe. Perseverance and an understanding of long sales cycles, knowing that success takes time and strategic focus. A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to see opportunities and actively drive the process forward. A solution-oriented mindset, enjoying finding unique and effective ways to reach prospective clients. If you like change and want to make an impact — this is the place for you! Of course, we have all the necessary and standard benefits in place, but in addition, we also offer: 🌇 Sky-High Office: Modern and newly renovated with a 360-degree view around Stockholm. 🐶 Puppy Friendly: Bring your dog to work — we’ve got a whole floor for our furry friends! 🏓 Fun & Games: Ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball, and even a karaoke room for your leisure time. 👶 Parental Pay for Six Months: Step away from work and provide the best care and love to your little one. 🎂 A Day Off on Your Birthday: Enjoy your birthday to the fullest with a day off each year! ⏰ Flexible Hours: Hybrid setup with working hours that adapt to your lifestyle. Get to know us In 2022, Instabee was founded after combining Budbee and Instabox - two leading last-mile delivery companies with three consumer-facing brands: Budbee, Instabox, and Porterbuddy. Instabee serves millions of consumers across Europe with convenient deliveries and is on track to become the leading European e-commerce enabler. Always with the consumer at heart. We’re fast, both in terms of parcel delivery and when it comes to growing our business. So far our journey has taken us from Sweden to the rest of Scandinavia and parts of continental Europe, but we have no plans on stopping anytime soon. As we continue to expand, the complexity of Instabee grows in parallel. With that in mind, we’re now looking for you to help us on the journey ahead. This recruitment process consists of background checks via Verifiera as a review of previous public criminal records. The result is public information that is handled confidentially. This is mandatory for all recruitment processes at Instabee in Sweden.
Where software meets the physical world In 2022, Budbee and Instabox merged to form Instabee — now home to three consumer brands serving millions of deliveries across Europe. We move fast, we're growing across Scandinavia and continental Europe, and we're not slowing down. Always with the consumer at heart. The Team The Box team owns one of Instabee's most tangible products: our locker network. We build and maintain the full software ecosystem that powers 6,000+ lockers — from cloud backend services to the software running on the physical hardware itself. It's a space where reliability, scalability, and real-world constraints collide daily, and where the gap between a code change and a real-world outcome is remarkably short. We operate as an autonomous, cross-functional team with full ownership of our product lifecycle — from design and development through to deployment and iteration. If you've ever wanted to see your engineering decisions literally open a door, this is that job. What You'll Work On The team’s focus and responsibilities span a wide range of areas, but everything is centered around the user experience at the parcel lockers. This means working with supporting backend solutions (Golang), the user interface at the locker itself (React), cloud services (Google Cloud), and other related applications. With our roadmap mainly centered around the locker experience, much of the engineering work focuses on building and evolving the software that powers the devices themselves. It’s a pragmatic, flexible environment where no two problems look the same. As a Senior Software Engineer, on a daily basis, you'll: Shape the architecture — Contribute to key technical decisions and drive solutions that balance robustness with speed of delivery Work across the stack — Hands-on implementation from cloud services to hardware-adjacent software Collaborate closely — Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine requirements and build things that matter Raise the bar — Code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of systems and processes Who You Are You're a pragmatic engineer who enjoys working across boundaries — backend and frontend, software and hardware, ambiguity and clarity. You take ownership, collaborate naturally, and care about how your work functions in the real world. You bring: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience Proficiency in Golang, or the confidence and track record to pick it up fast Experience with working in a Linux environment A product mindset — you think about impact, not just implementation Experience working in agile development environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP or similar Bonus points for: Experience with React Background in IoT or hardware-integrated systems Deeper knowledge of Linux and/or Ubuntu Core The Culture We believe great products are built by teams that take real ownership and understand how their work is used in the world. In the Box team, that's not a platitude — it's the daily reality. You'll work in a highly collaborative, autonomous environment where experimentation is encouraged and fast iteration is the norm. Open communication, continuous learning, and genuine cross-functional partnership are how we operate. You'll have real influence over technical direction and product experience — not just tickets in a queue. What You'll Get Ambitious colleagues, real challenges, and plenty of room to grow. Plus: 🌇 Sky-High Office Modern, newly renovated with 360° views over Stockholm 🍸 Rooftop Fridays Wind down the week at our rooftop bar 🥐 Monthly Tech Breakfasts Midweek talks, great food, smart people 👾 Tech Demos Regular showcases of the latest innovations 🏓 Games Room Ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball, and karaoke ⏰ Hybrid Hours Work patterns that fit your life 👶 6 Months Parental Pay Full support when your family grows 🎂 Birthday Day Off Your day, your way — every year If building systems that bridge the digital and physical worlds sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you! This recruitment process consists of background checks via Verifiera as a review of previous public criminal records. The result is public information that is handled confidentially. Every parcel we deliver starts with an engineering decision At Instabee, we don't just move parcels — we solve some of the most complex physical-world problems in European logistics, at scale. From the algorithms that optimize a driver's route to the systems that predict terminal throughput hours in advance, our engineering decisions have a direct impact on millions of deliveries every day. We're now looking for a Staff Engineer to join our technical leadership group — someone who doesn't just write great code, but shapes how entire teams think, build, and deliver. About the Role This isn't a traditional engineering role. As a Staff Engineer in Group Operations, you sit at the intersection of technical strategy and real-world logistics. You work alongside Product and Engineering Management to ensure multiple teams are building the right things, in the right way, at the right scale. Think of yourself as the technical glue — the person who bridges business ambition and engineering execution, who spots the hard problems before they become expensive ones, and who raises the bar for the entire engineering organization around you. What You'll Do Drive Technical Strategy & Architecture Set the technical direction across multiple teams in Operations. You'll guide engineers toward right-sized solutions — balancing high-scale stability with the speed needed to move the needle on operational KPIs. Tackle Genuinely Hard Problems Forecasting incoming parcel volumes, optimizing terminal throughput, routing thousands of drivers in real time — these are the kinds of challenges that define our business and your days. Champion Developer Experience Identify and eliminate technical friction. You'll lead initiatives to improve testing environments and deployment speed, keeping our engineering organization sharp and efficient. Bridge Business & Tech Translate complex business requirements into evolvable technical designs. You'll help teams understand how their code directly impacts the P&L of our logistics network — and why that matters. Mentor & Build Culture Act as a role model for the engineering community. You'll mentor senior engineers, promote a culture of learning from failure, and foster cross-team collaboration to ensure we don't reinvent the wheel. Enable Data-Driven Decisions Work closely with Data and Product teams to ensure our systems produce high-quality insights that power company-wide decisions. What We're Looking For You don't need to be an expert in everything your teams do — but you should care deeply about helping them succeed. We think you'll thrive in this role if you are: A Technical Leader — You have broad experience building distributed systems and can navigate deep technical dives and high-level architectural trade-offs with equal confidence. Strategic & Pragmatic — You know that "perfect is the enemy of good." You favor an iterative mindset, delivering value early and often rather than waiting for the ideal solution. Operationally Curious — You're fascinated by the intersection of software and physical operations. Experience in logistics, routing, or hardware integration is a significant plus. A Communicator & Collaborator — You can translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and thrive in a cross-functional environment where engineering, product, and business work closely together toward shared goals. A Quality Advocate — You hold a high bar for stability and security — but you know how to achieve it without killing the pace of innovation. Why join Instabee? You won’t just be another employee here; you’ll be a builder. We offer the chance to sharpen your skills alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry. If you’re someone who sees an inefficient process and thinks, "I can make that better," you’re going to love it here. The Perks: 🌇 The Best View in Town Our Stockholm HQ offers a stunning 360-degree panorama. 🐶 Dog-Friendly Culture No need to leave your best friend at home; our furry friends have their own floor! 🏓 Unwind & Recharge Whether it's a competitive game of Foosball or a Karaoke solo, we take our fun seriously. 👶 Family First We support our new parents with six months of parental pay. 🎂 Birthday Gift Enjoy a fully paid day off to celebrate another trip around the sun. ⏰ Work-Life Harmony Hybrid working and flexible hours come as standard. The Journey So Far Instabee was born when two pioneers, Budbee and Instabox, joined forces. Today, we are on a mission to become the leading European e-commerce enabler. We are a high-speed business, expanding across borders and constantly evolving. As our journey grows in scale and complexity, we need people like you to help us navigate the road ahead. This recruitment process consists of background checks via Verifiera as a review of previous public criminal records. The result is public information that is handled confidentially. This is mandatory for all recruitment processes at Instabee in Sweden.
TL;DR → You design and build production-grade RAG and agentic AI systems end-to-end. From use-case definition through to a working interface in users' hands. → Consulting across the Nordics, with clients spanning industries from financial services to manufacturing. → You work in cross-functional delivery teams alongside Data Engineers and Platform Engineers, each owning a distinct layer of the stack. → Certifications without a debate. Colleagues who are obsessed with the craft. Freedom to grow your way. What you'll do As a GenAI Developer, you own the AI application layer end-to-end: the systems that ingest, retrieve, reason, and respond, plus the lightweight interfaces that put them in front of users. You're the person closest to the end customer. You turn a business problem into a working use-case, from gathering requirements and aligning stakeholders to shipping a production system people actually use. You come in before the solution is defined. Together with the client, you shape what gets built, then you build it. You work alongside Data Engineers and Platform Engineers, each owning a distinct layer of the stack. Your layer is where the model meets the business problem, and where the user meets the product. A few examples of what this looks like in practice: A production RAG system for a financial services client, letting internal teams navigate regulatory documentation using generative AI. From ingestion through to answer generation, quality evaluation, and a lightweight front-end for day-to-day use. An agentic AI solution in the FinOps space, applying LLM reasoning over infrastructure data to drive cloud cost optimization beyond what rule-based tooling can handle. AI capability building at enterprise clients: use-case workshops, requirements definition, and architecture advisory on agents and coding tools for senior technical audiences. The bar for what "done" means here is high: production-grade, observable, secure and used. What you get Assignments that accelerate you. Every 6–18 months you're in a new engagement. New industry, new architecture decisions, new stakeholders to earn trust from. You'll face more distinct technical challenges in two years here than most engineers see in five. Work that's hard to come by elsewhere. Agentic AI in enterprise environments is one of the most technically demanding spaces in the industry right now. The problems here aren't solved yet, and you'll be among the people solving them. Your direction, your call. Want to go deep technically and become the go-to person for enterprise AI architecture? Go for it. Want to lead client engagements, own stakeholder relationships and drive use-cases from discovery to production? Also go for it. Both paths are real and equally valued. People who make you better. The people here are genuinely passionate about technology, not as a job, but as something they care about. Engineers who go deep because they want to, follow the space obsessively, and get restless when things stop moving. That's what keeps Redeploy consistently ahead, and it's what you'll feel from day one. The perks. 30 days vacation · hybrid work and flexible hours · private medical insurance · pension (ITP1) · wellness allowance 5,000 SEK · free choice of tools and tech · free breakfast, soda and snacks · yearly gatherings and AW's · a team with genuine interests outside work — gaming, food, running, padel, golf, football, cycling. Who you are You care whether your AI systems actually work, not just whether they run, and you have an instinct for finding failure modes before they reach production. You care about how users interact with it, and you don't consider a use-case done until it's working end-to-end, interface included. You might come from a fullstack engineering or traditional ML/Data background. What matters is that you're already building AI solutions, whether that's a side project, a POC, or a deep dive into a new framework. Curiosity is a given. The question is whether you act on it. You like being close to the people who'll use what you build. You can run a requirements workshop, figure out what a stakeholder actually needs versus what they asked for, and explain why a retrieval pipeline is underperforming, all with the same clarity. What you bring Strong requirements engineering and stakeholder management skills, you can drive a use-case from problem definition to delivery, keeping technical and non-technical audiences aligned throughout Strong Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals: clean code, testing, version control, system design Production experience with RAG architectures: chunking strategies, embedding models, vector search, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and retrieval evaluation Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or CrewAI, including tool use, memory management, and multi-agent orchestration Experience with Azure AI Services or Azure OpenAI, including integration across Azure services in production environments Ability to build lightweight front-end interfaces for AI applications to make prototypes and internal tools usable beyond the terminal Strong plus: multi-agent architecture design, front-end development skills (React, Streamlit, or similar), containerization and MLOps awareness, experience in regulated industries, Azure AI-102 certification, prior consulting experience, Swedish language skills. About Redeploy Redeploy is where cloud, data, and AI come together in production. We help Nordic enterprises design, build, and operate modern tech platforms and AI solutions that are secure, scalable, and production-ready. Engineers at heart, we work hands-on across Azure, AWS, and Databricks from strategy to operations.
TL;DR → You own the data layer, ingestion, transformation, and modeling that makes analytics, reporting and AI possible. → Consultant role across the Nordics, with clients spanning industries from financial services to manufacturing. → You work in cross functional delivery teams alongside Platform, Analytics and GenAI Developers, each owning a distinct layer of the stack. → Certifications without a debate. Colleagues who are obsessed with the craft. Freedom to grow your way. What you'll do As a Data Engineer, you’ll be building the data platforms that everything else depends on. From raw source systems to production-ready models consumed by analysts, ML pipelines, and business users. You own the path data takes to become useful. The work is hands-on Python and SQL, heavy on PySpark, and grounded in Kimball modeling and lakehouse architecture. You come in before the solution is defined. Together with the client, you shape what gets built, then you build it. You'll work in cross-functional delivery teams alongside platform engineers and AI developers, each owning a distinct layer of the stack. A few examples of what this looks like in practice: Building a Kafka-based ingestion framework for a major insurance group, onboarding several thousand tables at scale so multiple downstream teams can actually use the data they need. Lifting an on-prem data warehouse into a cloud-based Databricks lakehouse for a Nordic logistics company, standing up CI/CD, integration, modeling, and quality assurance, then scaling for new use cases. Auditing a manufacturing company's data platform against best practices, delivering a migration plan, then staying on to bring in new sources, optimize workflows, and build out analytics models. Modern data platforms underpinning enterprise AI is one of the most technically demanding spaces right now. The problems here aren't solved yet, and you'll be among the people solving them. Your direction, your call. Want to go deep technically, specialise in Databricks and Spark engineering, platform foundations or analytics engineering? Go for it. Want to grow toward Tech Lead or Solution Architect, steering delivery and building long-term client relationships? Also go for it. Both paths are real and equally valued. People who make you better. The people here are genuinely passionate about technology, not as a job, but as something they care about. Engineers who go deep because they want to, follow the space obsessively, and get restless when things stop moving. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you're energised by the consulting pace, new challenges, new contexts, and the pressure to deliver. We care more about how you think, build and collaborate than whether your background ticks every box. Maybe you come from software development and want to move closer to data. Maybe you've never worked in consulting but you're curious about the variety it brings. Humble enough to play for the team, sharp enough to push back when it matters. What you bring A background in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent university degree Strong programming skills in Python, with solid experience in SQL and Spark, and a sound understanding of software engineering principles Experience with cloud-based data solutions (Azure preferred, but AWS is also highly relevant) Solid understanding of data structures, modeling and processing Familiarity with data architectures like Lakehouse and Medallion AI-assisted development (you actively use tools like Claude Code, Codex, or similar in your daily work) Strong plus: Databricks or Microsoft Fabric, CI/CD pipelines for data, data governance, graph databases, prior consulting experience, Swedish language skills About Redeploy Redeploy is where cloud, data, and AI come together in production. TL;DR → You guide organisations through technology-driven change, clarifying priorities, shaping direction and making strategy executable. → Consultant role across the Nordics, with clients spanning industries from financial services to manufacturing. → You work alongside platform engineers, data engineers and AI engineers, bridging leadership, product and technical teams. → Certifications without a debate. Colleagues who are obsessed with the craft. Freedom to grow your way. What you'll do You’ll be part of our Strategy team, guiding organisations through technology-driven change with a focus on making strategy executable. Your work centres on clarifying priorities, shaping direction and ensuring that cloud, data and AI initiatives create measurable impact rather than remaining conceptual ambitions. You're involved before the engagement exists. You help shape how projects are scoped and won, contributing in sales and RFP stages where the problem is still being defined. Once work kicks off, you're often the one driving it forward: owning delivery, managing stakeholders and making sure things don't stall. Our teams build and scale platforms on Azure, AWS and Databricks. Your role is to define how those investments land in practice — staying close to both strategic framing and delivery realities, aligning leadership with engineering, and deepening client relationships beyond a single engagement. A few examples of what this looks like in practice: Building cloud and data foundations that enable analytics and AI at scale Modernising enterprise data estates and reducing reliance on legacy platforms Framing governance and roadmaps for responsible AI adoption Designing operating models that align engineering, product and leadership needs The bar for what "done" means here is high: measurable outcomes, not slide decks. What you get Assignments that accelerate you. Every 6–18 months you're in a new engagement. New industry, new architecture decisions, new stakeholders to earn trust from. You'll face more distinct strategic challenges in two years here than most consultants see in five. Work that's hard to come by elsewhere. Strategy consultants here stay close to delivery, you won't hand off a roadmap and disappear. You'll shape direction while real engineering is happening around you. And right now, agentic AI in enterprise environments is one of the most technically demanding spaces in the industry. You'll be in the middle of it. Your direction, your call. Go deeper into a domain. AI strategy, data strategy or platform modernisation and become the person clients call when the problem is unclear. Or grow toward leading client relationships, shaping Redeploy's strategy practice and taking on more executive-level advisory. People who make you better. The people here are genuinely passionate about technology, not as a job, but as something they care about. Engineers who go deep because they want to, follow the space obsessively, and get restless when things stop moving. That's what keeps Redeploy consistently ahead, and it's what you'll feel from day one. The perks. 30 days vacation · hybrid work and flexible hours · private medical insurance · pension (ITP1) · wellness allowance 5,000 SEK · free choice of tools and tech · free breakfast, soda and snacks · yearly gatherings and AW's · a team with genuine interests outside work — gaming, food, running, padel, golf, football, cycling Who you are You have a technical foundation, and that matters here, because the transformation programmes you lead are technically complex. You pair that background with sharp analytical thinking, the ability to navigate large and messy stakeholder landscapes, and a communication style that creates influence rather than just alignment. You like working close to clients. Where others present recommendations, you stay in the room, adjusting, challenging, earning trust through the quality of your thinking. You're drawn to environments where things are moving fast and direction isn't fully set. AI is reshaping how enterprises operate, and you want to be the one helping shape that trajectory, not watching from the sidelines. What you bring Technical background (e.g. data engineering, cloud, architecture, analytics) with the ability to connect technology choices to business outcomes Experience in consulting or advisory roles, supporting clients through technology-driven change in multi-stakeholder environments Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. You bring structure to ambiguity and clarity to complex decisions Confident communicator who adapts messaging across engineering, product and leadership audiences Strong plus: hands-on experience with AI/ML, LLMs or GenAI strategy; data platform modernisation; cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), experience in regulated industries, prior consulting experience, Swedish language skills.
