Forskningsprojektet PREPARE (PREhosPital cARE in Risk Environments) syftar till att stärka den prehospitala akutsjukvårdens vårdande av ett stort antal skadade i hotfulla och osäkra miljöer. Nu söker Högskolan i Borås en doktorand till forskarskolan DISASTER-CARE inom ämnet vårdvetenskap med fokus på prehospital akutsjukvård i hotfulla och osäkra miljöer. Forskningsbakgrund Prehospital akutsjukvård bedrivs i komplexa, oförutsägbara och ibland direkt hotfulla miljöer där vårdare tvingas fatta kritiska beslut under tidspress, osäkerhet och i vissa fall livsfara. Prehospitala team möter allt oftare situationer präglade av oklar hotbild, svår kommunikation, snabbt skiftande förutsättningar och höga krav på interprofessionell samverkan. Arbetet kännetecknas av ofullständig information, varierande hotnivåer, behov av samordning med andra blåljusaktörer samt risk för sekundära händelser och multipla patienter – samtidigt som både patientsäkerhet och personalsäkerhet måste upprätthållas. Ett särskilt utmanande scenario inom denna kontext är pågående dödligt våld (PDV). Effektiva insatser vid PDV‑händelser kräver ett nära och välfungerande samarbete mellan flera aktörer: ambulanssjukvård, polis, räddningstjänst och – i krigstid – även Försvarsmakten. PDV‑hantering ställer höga krav på mental förberedelse, gemensam planering, snabbt beslutsfattande och en stark organisationsövergripande förmåga att agera trots osäker lägesbild. Vårdande påverkas av samspelet mellan individens kognitiva processer (situationsmedvetenhet, stresshantering och beslutsfattande), teamets kommunikativa och taktiska koordinering, organisationernas strukturella förberedelser samt miljöfaktorer såsom hotbild, rörlighet, buller, begränsad sikt eller kommunikationsavbrott. Brister inom någon av dessa domäner kan få direkt livshotande konsekvenser. Ur ett vårdvetenskapligt perspektiv är det centralt att förstå hur vårdande, kliniskt beslutsfattande och samverkan påverkas när vård ges under osäkra och potentiellt livshotande förhållanden. Denna kunskap är avgörande för att utveckla vård som samtidigt värnar patientens behov och vårdarnas säkerhet. Avhandlingens övergripande syfte är därför att undersöka och utveckla kunskap om hur prehospital akutsjukvård kan bedrivas säkert, effektivt och patientsäkert i hotfulla och osäkra miljöer med många drabbade i fredstid. Forskarskolan DISASTER-CARE Som doktorand kommer du ingå i den nationella forskarskolan DISASTER-CARE. Det är Sveriges första nationella forskarskola inom katastrofmedicin – ett område som får allt större betydelse i dagens samhälle, präglat av globala kriser och ett förändrat internationellt säkerhetsläge. Satsningen finansieras av Vetenskapsrådet och grundar sig på ett regeringsuppdrag. Forskarskolan koordineras av Göteborgs universitet och genomförs i nära samarbete mellan några av Sveriges ledande lärosäten inom katastrofmedicin. Den riktar sig till dig som, efter avslutad utbildning, ska vara verksam som lärare inom hälso- och sjukvårdsutbildning med inriktning mot katastrofmedicin och krisberedskap. Som doktorand i DISASTER-CARE blir du en del av en tvärvetenskaplig forskningsmiljö där medicin, vårdvetenskap, teknik och samhällsvetenskap möts. What you'll do: As a member of the CMS Safety Office, you will participate in all safety-related activities at the CMS experimental sites during the Long Shutdown 3, when both the detector and the infrastructure will undergo major upgrades. In particular, you will take a leading role in the technical review of all CMS fire extinguishing systems and safety monitoring systems to assess their design, coverage and suitability for the CMS upgrade. You will contribute to the review, testing, and commissioning of the CMS Alarm Action Matrix in collaboration with all the relevant stakeholders, as well as organise regular reviews of the systems and activities and guide risk assessments for the collaboration's teams. Your responsibilities: - Coordinate and supervise the installation, integration, and commissioning of safety-related infrastructure for CMS across its underground experimental and surface facilities on the French and Swiss sites. - Organise and follow up on the assembly, deployment, and commissioning of the CMS environmental monitoring system based on sniffers. - Lead the technical review, consolidation, maintenance, and follow-up of the CMS fire protection systems. Contribute to the definition, review, testing, and validation of safety system logic, in particular the CMS Alarm Action Matrix. - Interface with CMS Technical Coordination, subdetector teams, and safety link persons to ensure coherent implementation of safety requirements and proper integration of systems across multiple domains. - Support the preparation and follow-up of safety-related deliverables, including environmental monitoring systems and alarm management, ensuring traceability and consistency throughout the project lifecycle. - Participate in and guide activity reviews and related risk assessments within CMS. - Proactively contribute to the continuous improvements to the safety framework at the CMS experimental site, ensuring a safe working environment while streamlining safety processes and documentation to support the efficient execution of experimental activities.
