Sales Director - 4insight® Marine Operations

Weather-dependent marine operations still run on conservative rules and incomplete data. 4insight® changes that. It connects

vessel data, metocean conditions and engineering models to support better decisions across tender, planning and execution. The

platform already streams high-frequency data from 20 vessels, and customers use it to maximise vessel operability, cut

organisational overhead and cost of loss.

4Subsea is now moving from project-based services to subscriptions, and we need someone to lead the commercial side of the sales

process. This is a senior individual role with no direct reports. You build the go-to-market sales strategy and then execute it

yourself, from the first meeting with an operations manager to a signed subscription with the client.

• Win new accounts among vessel owners, marine contractors and operators, and lead each opportunity from first contact through

pilot and close, and further to renewal

• Be the commercial voice in internal product development, with evidence from the market on what customers will and will not pay

for

• Experience building a commercial sales strategy for a new or scaling SaaS or industrial software offering, and navigating the

shift from project-based to recurring revenue

• Ability to discuss data platforms, APIs and AI-supported decision support credibly, including why auditability and class

alignment matter

• Speaking full professional English, where speaking Norwegian is a further advantage. Willingness to travel internationally,

including to vessels and customer sites

• A plus but not required: To have documented marine and offshore experience and a network among contractors, vessel owners,

operators or class societies. We have domain expertise in-house and will teach you the operational basics

You are self-driven, technically honest about what the product does and does not do, a tentative listener, and a collaborative

colleague who uses CRM and AI tools to spend more time with customers
