Responsibilities
Assemble, inspect, and rework electronic prototypes, including fine-pitch SMT assemblies.
Serve as the primary prototype build resource for R&D teams.
Manage prototype component procurement and supplier communications.
Maintain and develop the in-house prototype component library and inventory.
Ensure availability of commonly used components, materials, and consumables.
Operate and maintain prototype assembly equipment and workspaces.
Support rapid prototype iterations and engineering development activities.
Continuously improve prototype assembly processes, tools, and workflows.
Requirements
Hands-on experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and rework.
Familiarity with SMT assembly and modern PCB technologies.
Experience in sourcing electronic components and managing suppliers.
Ability to read BOMs, schematics, and assembly documentation.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Strong practical problem-solving skills and a flexible mindset.
Desired
Experience with prototype assembly equipment, reflow processes, or pick-and-place systems.
Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and electronics debugging.
Understanding of PCB manufacturing and design-for-manufacturing principles.
