Vill du arbeta med mjölkproduktion i ett engagerat team där djurvälfärd, kvalitet och samarbete står i fokus? Vi söker nu en medarbetare till vårt kostall. Arbetsuppgifter Din huvudsakliga arbetsplats är kostallet, men du kommer även att vara en viktig del av den dagliga driften på gården. Vid behov hjälper du även till inom andra delar av gårdens verksamhet.  Du kommer framför allt att arbeta med: Skötsel av mjölkkor och ungdjur, tillsammans med skolans elever. Om arbetsplatsen Munkagårdsgymnasiet är ett litet gymnasium med enbart Naturbruksprogrammet. Våra inriktningar är djurvård, lantbruk, naturturism och skogsbruk. Vi har även en anpassning av naturbruksprogrammet för elever med en NPF-diagnos som kallas Spåret. Där erbjuder vi inriktningarna djurvård, lantbruk och trädgård. Vi är ca 120 personal och ca 300 elever. Till skolan hör också ett internat där ca två tredjedelar av eleverna bor måndag till fredag. Internatet ligger i en härlig miljö i Tvååker ca 1 km från skolan. Hos oss får du ett varierande arbete där ingen dag är den andra lik. Vi söker dig som är flexibel och tycker om varierande arbetsdagar. B-körkort är ett krav, och det är ett plus om du har erfarenhet av att köra maskiner. Department of Clinical Sciences We are seeking a board-certified International specialist (European or American College of Veterinary Surgery (ECVS or ACVS Diplomate) in small animal surgery; alternatively, you hold a recognised national specialist title in small animal surgery. About the position As a specialist in surgery at UDS, you will primarily work in the surgery department, postoperative care unit, and ICU. You will provide clinical services in a broad range of surgery cases; orthopaedics, soft tissue, and neurosurgery cases. You are part of our surgical team, which works with excellent veterinary care, teaching, and research. It is a varied and stimulating everyday life in a round-the-clock operation at Sweden's only university animal hospital. You will support and develop the surgery team, provide guidance and support to veterinary nurses, ensure that the flow through the surgery department is efficient and safe for the patients, supervise and teach students as well as residents and junior veterinarians. You aim to get involved in strategic development and management of the clinic. Participation in the out-of-hours service is also expected. Collaboration with colleagues within your discipline and across the faculty is a part of the role. Opportunities to engage in ongoing clinical research are available, and you may contribute to lecturing, small group teaching, and assessing veterinary students. The purpose of this field- and laboratory-based project is to is to investigate the Eoarchean gneiss complexes of northern Labrador, Canada and southern west Greenland, some of the most extensive >3.6 Ga regions on the planet, to (1) better constrain the timing of formation and subsequent evolution of the earliest crust preserved on Earth, (2) document the earliest stages of the irreversible differentiation of crustal and mantle geochemical and isotopic domains and (3) test whether any early supracrustal assemblages within these gneiss complexes are truly ancient. The project will utilise novel and innovative high-spatial resolution ion microprobe-based methods, using the CAMECA ims1280 instrument in the NordSIMS facility at the Swedish Museum of Natural History as well as complementary microanalytical facilities at collaborating institutions (University of Western Australia, Polish Academy of Sciences). 1 job(s). In this two-year postdoctoral project, you will use quantitative  evidence-based syntheses to identify how aquatic management can enhance ecosystem resilience to the impacts of climate change.
