As a machine operator in cement, stone, and concrete products, you manage and monitor the operation of plants that produce concrete or asphalt. You operate machinery that shapes, presses, and splits materials to create products from stone, cement, concrete, and graphite, among others. The work also includes making molds, as well as reinforcing, casting, and finishing concrete products.
