As a horticulturalist, you work with cultivating and harvesting everything from greenhouse vegetables to nursery plants, ornamental plants, and mushrooms. By sowing, propagating, planting, thinning, and pruning, you care for the plants throughout their growth. The role also includes preparing the soil, fertilizing, and weeding to create the best possible conditions for cultivation.
