Axis radarportfölj genomgår en spännande utveckling och växer ständigt. I nuläget jobbar vi aktivt med produkter inom ”Safety & Security” samt ”Traffic” men samtidigt så är vi väldigt öppna för att lösa nya problem där radar som teknologi erbjuder den bästa lösningen. I rollen som Engineering Manager för detta innovativa team kommer du att leda en grupp på ca 15 personer. Gruppen har ansvar för algoritmutveckling för exempelvis tracking och klassificering i våra radarprodukter samt den radarmjukvara som behövs för att lösa våra radar use-case. Din roll Som Engineering Manager i detta team har du en viktig roll i att driva utvecklingen framåt för din grupp och för den utveckling som vårt produktområde bedriver. Vårt kvalitetstänk är högt och nya tekniska utmaningar ställer ständigt nya krav där du som linjechef bidrar med ditt perspektiv. De viktigaste uppgifterna inkluderar att stötta teknikutvecklingen och att vara aktiv inom Axis mjukvaruutveckling. Du kommer i din roll att lägga mycket tid på stötta och utveckla dina teammedlemmar. Vidare innebär rollen att du är engagerad i våra tekniska utmaningar och möjligheter och att du samverkar väl med våra ingenjörer, projektledare, övriga team i organisationen, samt beställare. Avdelningens projektledare leder projektverksamheten och som chef förväntas du stötta dina anställda och därmed projekten. I rollen som linjechef ingår även uppgifter som lönesättning, rekrytering, budgetering, kompetensutveckling av gruppen, utvecklingssamtal med mera. Du ingår i ledningsgruppen för produktområdet och rapporterar till Director för Fixed Cameras & Radar. Vem är du? Du är en inspirerande ledare som utgår från kärnan i ditt team – människorna! Job Title Engineering Manager - Mobile Applications QA, Lund Job Description Are you an experienced leader with a passion for both technology and people? You will lead a team of 7-8 engineers responsible for the quality assurance efforts for mobile applications within the Axis Camera Station ecosystem. What you’ll do here as Engineering Manager? In this role, you will take ownership of the quality strategy for our mobile platforms (iOS and Android). You will lead a dedicated team of testers and work closely with developers and product managers to ensure our mobile experiences are robust, performant, and user friendly. Some of your responsibilities include: Define and drive the QA strategy for Axis mobile applications. Lead and mentor the QA team by nurturing a culture of continuous learning and technical innovation. Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks and drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines specifically for mobile applications. Take ownership of test environments and labs. Collaborate with Development and Product Management to align quality goals with roadmaps, business needs and user expectations. Collaborate with other QA managers at Axis to share best practices, harmonize testing methods and plan testing of complete solutions. Who are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced leader who has a deep understanding of software testing and a proven track record in mobile app development environments. We believe you have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar, along with several years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within QA. You have a technical background with a solid understanding of mobile specific challenges, such as OS fragmentation, connectivity issues, and user experience. You are experienced in agile methodologies and understand how to integrate quality into every step of the development lifecycle. Proficiency in programming and experience with mobile automation tools are significant advantages. As a leader, you are open minded and structured, with a strong interest in developing people as well as technology. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization in both Swedish and English.
