About the Role: We are seeking an experienced System/Backend Engineer to help develop the high-performance core architecture behind a connected car ecosystem. You will join a diverse, cross-functional team working in agile sprints, contributing to the critical backend systems, integrations, and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers that connect mobile applications with vehicle telemetry. The job includes hands-on coding, building robust new features, and driving the architecture forward in a high-traffic cloud environment. Requirements: +5 years of professional experience in backend software development with a strong focus on C# and .NET/.NET Core. Proven experience or a strong, practical interest in developing performance-critical services using Go (Golang). Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and secure API design (REST/GraphQL). Experience with modern cloud-native workflows, containerization, and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Fluency in English, both spoken and written (Swedish is a major plus). Highly prioritized: Currently residing in Sweden with a valid, pre-existing Swedish work permit and available for a quick onboarding/short notice period. Nice to Have: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and setting up automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Experience with message brokers/queues (like Kafka or RabbitMQ) and relational databases. Knowledge of software development automation and tools like Jira and Git. Requirements: +5 years of professional experience developing complex backend applications on the JVM platform using Java and Kotlin. Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, secure API design (REST/GraphQL), and hosting resilient services. Solid understanding of data streaming and databases, specifically Kafka and Postgres. Experience with automated workflows, containerization, and cloud environments using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure. Fluency in English, both spoken and written (Swedish is a major plus). Highly prioritized: Currently residing in Sweden with a valid, pre-existing Swedish work permit and available for a quick onboarding/short notice period.
