Francis

About Francis We're building Francis, the FP&A platform for modern finance teams. Most companies still run their finances in spreadsheets. The finance teams at Hart Bakery, ÅBEN, FemaleInvest and 550+ other companies use Francis instead for consolidation, forecasting, reporting and business partnering. We've just released our first agentic AI features, and the response from customers has been the strongest we've seen. Now we're taking Francis to the UK, and we're looking for someone to help lead that push from day one. We're a small, focused team working together in our office in central Copenhagen. We move fast, care about quality, and keep bureaucracy to an absolute minimum. We're backed by byFounders and PSV, the investors behind Lovable, Lunar and Trustpilot. What you'll do As a Commercial Associate, you'll be one of the first people bringing Francis to the UK market. You'll run our outbound: find the companies that need Francis most, reach the right people through calls, LinkedIn and email, and book the conversations that turn into customers. As you grow into the role, you'll run discovery calls yourself and take part in more of the sales process. You'll work directly with Axel, our Head of Sales. Axel led Pleo's outbound motion across the UK and Ireland, which made him part of one of the biggest Danish startup success stories of the past decade. He's one of the strongest B2B sales profiles in Denmark, and he'll be coaching you every day: listening in on calls, giving you feedback, and speaking with you daily to look at what's working. This isn't your typical SDR job You won't be dropped in a phone booth and left alone with a script. We expect you to own your work: decide how to spend your time, try new approaches, and tell us when something isn't working. You'll also be one of the people who talks to the most finance teams at Francis. What you hear matters, and you'll bring it straight to our product, design and engineering team, so what you learn on calls shapes what we build. And you'll be working at the frontier of AI. You'll use Claude and Claude Code alongside a stack where AI is built into every workflow. Most of the repetitive parts of outbound, like researching prospects, preparing for calls and writing first drafts, can be automated. We want you to build your own agents and tools to do exactly that, so your time goes into the conversations that matter. What we offer A seat at the start of a new market entry, working closely with one of the best outbound leaders in the Nordics Hands-on experience with the most advanced AI tools available, and the freedom to build with them Real influence on the product through the feedback you bring back from customers Daily coaching, call shadowing and weekly check-ins with Axel Apple hardware, paid lunch, Friday bars and team dinners Minimum 15 hours per week, and more if you want it Around 200 DKK/hour and uncapped commission In-person at our office in Copenhagen Flexibility around exams Who you are We care much more about what you've done than about what you've studied. A background in finance or previous sales experience is a definite plus, but neither is a hard requirement. What matters most is ambition and a go-getter mentality. That might show in your studies, in sport, in something you've built or started, or in how you take on challenges in general. You're a student (BSc or MSc) who wants to be where things are being built You take ownership. You don't wait to be told what to do You keep going when things are hard. Outbound means a lot of "no" before you get a "yes," and that doesn't put you off You're ambitious and want to learn quickly You're curious about AI and excited to use it to change how you work Your written and spoken English is native or near-native. Danish is a plus This is a commercial role. If you're mainly looking for an analyst or finance role, this probably isn't the right fit. The interview process If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Send us your CV and LinkedIn profile. The process has four steps: Intro call with Axel, our Head of Sales : A short conversation about the role and whether it's a good fit on both sides. Mock cold call case : A practical exercise on how you prepare, communicate and handle an outbound sales conversation. Meeting with the team : Conversations with the people you'll work with, so we can see how we work together. Final decision : We make a decision and let you know.
