You help shape Siili’s AI offering, strengthen our position in the market, and build trusted relationships with our customers. This is a senior role for someone who combines business acumen, strategic thinking, and technical credibility. You understand where AI can create meaningful value, can challenge and inspire customers, and know how to turn emerging opportunities into concrete business and successful engagements. What will you do as an AI Principal at Siili? You will work closely with customers, account teams, and our AI experts to identify and shape new opportunities. You help customers define their AI ambition and translate business needs into actionable roadmaps and solution concepts. Together with our account teams, you turn customer needs into compelling solutions and new business opportunities. You also bring insights from customers and projects into the continuous development of Siili’s AI offering. In customer engagements, you act as a trusted advisor, providing direction and ensuring that our solutions are both technically credible and grounded in real business value. You stay close to delivery and collaborate with our experts, while focusing on the bigger picture rather than being the primary hands-on engineer. You will also play an active role in our AI community, sharing your expertise and helping develop our capabilities. As a thought leader, you will contribute to Siili’s external visibility by sharing insights and perspectives through content, events, and public speaking. We believe that we can best help you build your story when you have: * Strong experience designing and delivering end-to-end AI solutions into production from data and model development to deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management. * Solid understanding of modern AI architectures, including cloud-native platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP), MLOps practices, and scalable data engineering foundations. * Demonstrated expertise in delivering LLM-based and agentic systems * The ability to connect technical AI capabilities with business needs and communicate architectural choices and trade-offs clearly to both technical and business stakeholders. * Experience in consultative or technical sales, presales, opportunity shaping, and proposal development. * Experience shaping customer needs into compelling solution concepts and contributing to the development of AI offerings. * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and fluency in Finnish and English. What will you do as a Forward Deployed Data & Integration Engineer at Siili? As a Forward Deployed Data & Integration Engineer, you work at the intersection of modern data platforms, enterprise integrations, cloud environments, and AI delivery. Your mission is to help customers move AI and agentic solutions beyond pilots by connecting them to the data, systems, and platforms they need to create measurable business value in production. You will work closely with 1–2 strategic customer accounts at a time, taking a hands-on role in designing and building the data platforms and integrations that AI solutions depend on. You’ll connect AI and agentic workflows with enterprise data, source systems, and downstream applications through APIs, data pipelines, event streams, middleware, and modern integration services. This is not an architecture-only role. You combine hands-on engineering with architecture and design, working in complex customer environments to modernize data platforms and integrations and turn prototypes into secure, governed, monitored, and reliable production services. What we’re looking for We are looking for an experienced data platform and integration engineering professional who combines strong hands-on technical expertise with architecture capabilities, customer-facing skills, and experience enabling modern AI solutions. We hope you recognize yourself in most of these: * 5+ years of experience in data platform engineering, data engineering, systems integration, or a similar technical role, with a track record of delivering enterprise solutions into production. * Strong experience with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent, including data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and access and governance controls. * Experience designing and building enterprise integrations using APIs, event streams, middleware, and integration platforms such as Azure Integration Services, Boomi, or equivalent. * Strong experience with Azure or AWS. * Hands-on exposure to AI or agentic solutions, with an understanding of how they consume and depend on enterprise data, integrations, and platform infrastructure. You don’t need to be an LLM engineer, but you understand what it takes to enable AI solutions in enterprise environments. * Ability to combine hands-on implementation with architecture and design, taking solutions from prototype to reliable, production-ready services. * Strong understanding of enterprise requirements, including data quality, governance, security, and compliance. * Strong client-facing and consulting skills, with the ability to take ownership, navigate complex and evolving customer environments, and turn business needs into technical solutions. * Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English. Finnish or another Nordic language is considered an advantage.
