About Memtrace Memtrace builds the memory layer for AI coding agents. Using AST parsing, we construct a deterministic knowledge graph that gives coding agents real, structural understanding of a codebase instead of guesswork — so agents stop forgetting context and stop re-explaining the same thing every session. Our stack includes MemDB, MemFleet, Cortex (our code review engine), and Alethia, our decision-memory model. The role We want to grow Memtrace's user base organically, developer by developer, the way tools like this actually spread: through people who use it, understand it, and tell other people why it's worth trying. We're looking for someone who wants to own that motion — finding developers, getting them successfully onboarded, and figuring out, hands-on, what actually gets a dev tool to spread inside developer communities. This isn't a "post on social media" internship. You'll be talking to real developers, watching where they get stuck, and iterating on how we bring people in — repeatedly, not once. What you'll do Find and engage developers where they already are — GitHub, Reddit, Discord, Hacker News, dev-focused Slack/Discord communities, relevant subreddits and forums Own first-touch to first-value: get new users from "found us" to "got it working and saw the point" Watch real onboarding sessions (or run them yourself) to find where people drop off, and propose fixes to docs, quickstart, or messaging Represent Memtrace in developer conversations — answering questions, handling skepticism, and genuinely listening rather than pitching Help build and test outreach approaches (warm intros, cold outreach, community posts) and track what actually converts into activated users Report back what you learn — this role is as much research as it is execution, and your findings shape our GTM decisions Occasionally help with founder-led content and community events (meetups, hackathons, university talks) Who you are Genuinely curious about developer tools and how developer communities work — you lurk in GitHub issues and Reddit threads for fun, not just for work Comfortable talking to strangers, including skeptical ones, without sounding like you're reading from a script Some technical fluency — you don't need to ship production code, but you should be able to read a README, run a quickstart, and understand roughly what an AI coding agent or AST parsing means (or be excited to learn fast) A self-starter who's fine with ambiguity — we'll give you a goal and context, not a script Based in or able to work Copenhagen hours; a computer science, software engineering, or related background (student or recent grad) is a plus but not required What you'll get Real ownership of a growth motion at an early-stage, venture-backed startup — not a coffee-run internship Direct exposure to founders and GTM strategy, not just execution A front-row seat to how a technical product actually finds product-market fit with developers
About Memtrace Memtrace builds the memory layer for AI coding agents. Our knowledge-graph technology helps agents understand a company's codebase and decisions, so engineering teams get better results from the AI tools they already use. We're a small, fast-moving Copenhagen team backed by Antler and Innovation Fund Denmark, working with engineering organisations across the Nordics. The role You'll be the engine behind our top-of-funnel. You'll find the right people at the right companies, start conversations with them, and turn those conversations into booked meetings. You'll work directly with the founders and see the results of your work within days, not quarters. What you'll do Build targeted prospect lists, identifying both the technical champion and the budget-holder at each company Run personalised outreach on LinkedIn and email Make cold calls to engineering and IT leaders and book discovery meetings Keep every contact, reply and next step up to date in our CRM, and move deals through the pipeline stages Report weekly on activity, reply rates, meetings booked and the objections you hear, and help us improve our messaging based on them Who you are You're comfortable with rejection and you follow up without being pushy You write clearly and concisely You're curious enough about technology to understand a developer product and explain it simply You're organised and keep tidy notes You're currently studying or recently graduated, and you speak fluent English (Danish is a plus) What you'll get Hands-on experience in B2B sales at a venture-backed AI startup Direct mentoring from the founders A real impact on our pipeline, with your results visible from week one
About Memtrace AI coding agents are fast, but they forget. They lose context between sessions, repeat mistakes, and don't understand the codebase around them. Memtrace builds the memory layer that fixes this: a deterministic knowledge graph of your code, built with AST parsing rather than guesswork, that any coding agent can use. Our products include MemDB, MemFleet, Cortex, and a code review engine. The role You will own revenue end to end: strategy, pipeline, pricing, partnerships, and the first commercial team. We have developer interest and active pilots with enterprise customers. Your job is to turn that into repeatable, paying adoption. At this stage you will do the selling yourself while building the playbook that others will follow. What you will do Define and run the go-to-market motion: developers adopt, engineering leaders and budget-holders buy. Own the revenue number and the pipeline. Run discovery, demos, pilots, and negotiations personally. Convert pilots into contracts, with clear success criteria, pricing, and procurement paths. Set pricing and packaging for individual, team, and enterprise tiers. Build channel and ecosystem partnerships (cloud marketplaces, consultancies, industry bodies, AI-coding-tool vendors). Feed customer and market insight back to product and research, and help decide what we build next. Hire and lead the first commercial team (sales, solutions, customer success) when the time is right. Report on pipeline, conversion, and retention to the founders and investors. What we are looking for 8+ years in B2B software sales or commercial leadership, with at least one role in developer tools, data/AI infrastructure, or open-source-led products. A track record of closing enterprise deals yourself, ideally in the Nordics or wider Europe. Experience selling to both technical champions and executive buyers, and knowing how those conversations differ. Comfort with ambiguity: you have built a sales motion without an existing playbook, brand, or team. Enough technical depth to talk credibly with engineers about codebases, CI/CD, and AI agents. Strong written and spoken English; Danish or another Nordic language is a plus. Nice to have Experience with PLG, usage-based pricing, or open-core models. Existing relationships with engineering leaders at Nordic enterprises. Experience with EU procurement, security reviews, and data-residency requirements. What we offer A founding-team seat with real ownership of the commercial side of the company. Direct influence on product, positioning, and company direction. Hybrid work in Copenhagen, with a small and fast-moving team.
