JOIN OUR TEAM As a Senior Operations Manager at Westwing, you will direct all daily distribution centre operations across our warehouse departments, focusing on resource capacity, inventory accuracy and a proactive safety culture. In this strategic and impact-driven role, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment where your communication and crisis-management skills will drive team growth and operational excellence during peak surges. You will act with ownership and pace to lead your area and elevate our operational standards, contributing directly to our vision of becoming the Superbrand in Design. This position is unlimited and based in Robakowo. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Direct and optimise all daily warehouse operations, ensuring seamless end-to-end execution across both Inbound (receiving, put-away, cross-docking) and Outbound (picking, packing, staging, shipping) departments * Forecast and manage labour, space and equipment requirements based on supply chain fluctuations to maintain optimal throughput and eliminate bottlenecks * Ensure strict inventory control and accuracy in collaboration with inventory teams, minimising shrinkage and maximising slotting efficiency through cycle counting schedules * Establish, monitor and elevate operational metrics and KPIs, including Inbound Dock-to-Stock time, Order Fill Rate, Picking/Packing accuracy and Cost Per Unit (CPU) * Mentor and develop a large, multi-shift team of supervisors, leads and associates, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability and open communication * Enforce strict compliance with local safety regulations (EHS) and corporate standards, actively driving a proactive, "zero-incident" safety culture * Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S) to eliminate waste, optimise layout design and successfully integrate automation or warehouse technologies YOU COME WITH * 4+ years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced distribution centre or warehouse environment * A proven track record of concurrently managing both high-volume Inbound and Outbound operations * Exceptional data literacy and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex warehouse metrics, manage labour management systems (LMS) and adjust staffing models in real time * Proven change and crisis-management skills, with the ability to navigate peak season surges, system transitions and supply chain disruptions with high emotional intelligence and decisive action * Strategic communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities to effectively align front-line floor workers with executive leadership * Fluency in both English and Polish (written and spoken) is required WHY WESTWING If you are looking for a place where ambition meets creativity, where ideas turn into impact fast, and where people are trusted to grow - you have found it. JOIN OUR TEAM As a Project & Process Improvement Specialist, you will lead strategic initiatives within our Polish e-commerce warehouse, supporting the growth of a premium German furniture brand expanding across Europe. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising cross-functional projects that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will work closely with local warehouse teams and act as a key interface to our German headquarters in a dynamic, international environment. This position is a maternity cover contract for 18 months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs and performance and based in Robakowo. OVERVIEW: As a People Operations Manager, you will own and support the day-to-day people operations functions that help our organization scale effectively. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to help build strong operational foundations in a fast-paced startup environment. While this role will help shape processes and improve how the organization operates, this is currently an individual contributor role focused on execution rather than building or managing a large HR team. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Onboarding & Employee Experience * Own onboarding coordination and ensure employees have a smooth and organized onboarding experience. * Coordinate new hire setup including equipment ordering, account provisioning, onboarding schedules, and internal introductions. * Maintain onboarding documentation, training resources, and onboarding checklists. * Help drive employee engagement initiatives, team events, and internal communication efforts. * Support employees throughout their lifecycle with the company. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * 4+ years of experience in people operations, recruiting operations, HR coordination, or employee operations roles. * Experience supporting hiring pipelines and coordinating recruiting processes across multiple stakeholders. * Experience onboarding employees in fast-paced or startup environments preferred. * Familiarity with HR systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and employee management platforms. * Experience maintaining organizational processes, employee documentation, and operational workflows.
