Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research? We invite applications for a Research Assistant position in the research group of Professor Magnus Ingelman-Sundberg, within the Section of Pharmacogenetics. This position is housed in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, known for its collegial, international, and dynamic research environment. Our current research focuses on the use CYP2C19 is a highly polymorphic enzyme involved in the metabolism of many drugs and endogenous lipids, making it one of the most clinically important pharmacogenes. Beyond drug metabolism, CYP2C19 regulates lipid pathways influencing vascular function, inflammation, cholesterol homeostasis, and broader metabolic processes. We will investigate why fetal CYP2C19 expression induces inflammation in the developing hippocampus, leading to neuronal degeneration in the adult dentate gyrus causing anxiety and depression in adult life identifying molecular pathways relevant for future antidepressant development. Reduced CYP2C19 function has been associated with increased risk of myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke, suggesting broader roles in cardiovascular disease. Using advanced human liver spheroids and brain organoids, we will study CYP2C19 in lipid metabolism ini relation to cardiovascular risk, by identifying CYP2C19-dependent lipid pathways providing new insights into mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric disorders and arteriosclerosis. Your profile We are seeking a motivated candidate with at least one year of hands-on laboratory experience and practical skills in RT-PCR, Western blotting, and cell culture. Experience in immunohistochemistry, imaging techniques, and molecular biology methods is highly desirable. Previous work with brain tissues is a merit. You will join a dynamic research team of approximately six researchers and contribute to several ongoing projects focused on the biological functions of CYP2C19. Your primary responsibilities will include: · Analysis of lipids regulated by CYP2C19 using advanced 3D human liver spheroids as an experimental model. · Characterization of developmental alterations in the fetal brain caused by CYP2C19 overexpression using approaches such as immunohistochemistry, RNA sequencing, and ELISA. · Development and use of in vitro macrophage activation systems to investigate whether CYP2C19-dependent lipid mediators promote inflammatory pathways relevant to atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. While knowledge of the Swedish language is advantageous, fluency in both oral and written English is essential. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, well-organized, and enjoy interacting with researchers and students. Coretura is a joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, building the software platform for the next generation of commercial vehicles — with the pace of a scaleup and the backing of two industry leaders. This is a strategic, build-it-from-scratch role. As Supply Chain Manager, you'll design the process that connects our suppliers directly to our OEM customers, and then own it end to end as we move from concept to scale. You'll decide how the flow should work, and the decisions you make will shape how a brand-new supply chain is built. What you'll do You'll design and own the end-to-end hardware flow, from supplier to OEM line. That means defining the process: the order flow, the financial flow, and the call on when and where to add inventory buffers. On the supplier side, you'll set logistics requirements and SLAs: lead times, delivery precision, capacity, and escalation. On the OEM side, you'll own the details that make deliveries land: EDI, shipping notifications, packaging and labelling, and logistics portals. Day to day you'll run order-to-delivery and keep the physical and financial flows aligned with Finance. You'll also track the KPIs that matter: OTD, delivery precision, lead times, and fill rates, and drive improvement together with Procurement and IT. Ideally, you've done some of this before: in commercial vehicles or automotive supply chains, with drop-shipment models, or building a supply chain from scratch in a scale-up. If so, you'll feel right at home. To thrive in this position, we believe you bring: Solid experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations (ideally automotive, electronics, or industrial) Strong grasp of end-to-end flows, order management, and planning Experience with OEM customers or complex B2B logistics, plus ERP/EDI tools A hands-on builder who's as comfortable setting strategy as executing it Why Coretura? You'll build something that doesn't exist yet, with the freedom to decide how it should work — and then see it run. You’ll have the freedom to drive projects forward, contribute ideas, and help shape the future of commercial vehicle technology. Our lean innovative team is always learning and adapting, your contributions will truly matter. Next steps Ready to build the future of commercial vehicles? Coretura is a joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, building the software platform for the next generation of commercial vehicles — with the pace of a startup and the backing of two industry leaders. We're looking for a strategic Buyer to lead sourcing within Vision & Perception: the software and hardware — cameras, radar, sensors — behind ADAS. You'll own supplier strategy and relationships end to end, and help build the partner ecosystem for a software-defined vehicle platform. What you'll do As our Buyer within V&P you'll develop and own the sourcing strategy. That means leading supplier selection, running contract negotiations, and turning key suppliers into long-term partners. From there, it's about making those partnerships deliver. You'll drive cost, quality, supply security, and resilience across your segment, and act as the main commercial contact for your suppliers. You'll also keep things safe and compliant, making sure IP, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements are covered before any commitment is made. What you bring 7+ years in procurement, with proven experience sourcing software A background in Vision & Perception or related domains (hardware sourcing such as sensors/radar is a strong plus) Strong negotiation skills and a sharp commercial mindset A degree in Business, Engineering, Procurement, or similar Why Coretura? Coretura is a scaleup building something the industry hasn't seen before. You'll have real ownership from day one: shaping how a brand-new platform is sourced and making decisions that stick, without layers of sign-off slowing you down. You get the scale and backing of Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, with the pace and autonomy of a scaleup. What you build here matters. Next Steps Ready to build the future of commercial vehicles? Coretura is a joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, building a software-defined vehicle platform for the next generation of commercial vehicles. As Product Manager, you'll own the Vision & Perception/ADAS domain of that platform — shaping what gets built and why, in close collaboration with the people who decide when, how, and on what technical foundation it's delivered. The domain you'll own An SDV platform is a set of deeply interdependent domains, each complex enough to need real product ownership — which is why each is owned end to end by a dedicated Product Manager. Yours is Vision & Perception / ADAS: the sensing, perception, and driver-assistance capabilities that let the vehicle understand its surroundings safely and reliably. You'll give OEMs the foundation to build best-in-class Level 2 and 3 ADAS — highway pilots, blind-spot detection, and more — with the reliability they need at the lowest possible cost. Priorities are still being discovered and requirements will shift, so decisions often have to be made with incomplete information. This role suits someone who brings structure to ambiguity rather than waiting for it to resolve. The value you create You'll give the Vision & Perception / ADAS domain a clear, coherent product direction, turning a set of technical capabilities into a roadmap with a genuine end-to-end view. Working closely with the Portfolio Manager, you'll help turn a complete platform picture into an executable plan — weighing technical opportunities against risk and business viability so the offering stays competitive in the market. And because the platform's domains are deeply interdependent, you'll surface cross-domain dependencies early and shape competing customer needs into one product that holds together. What it takes Solid Product Manager experience, with real ownership of a technical product domain Direct experience in one or more of the following: computer vision/perception, sensor fusion, ADAS/autonomous-driving systems, or functional safety (e.g. ISO 26262) and ADAS regulatory/type-approval requirements Strong business acumen — ability to connect product decisions to platform strategy and commercial outcomes, not just feature delivery Comfortable across levels, from strategic portfolio direction to hands-on execution, with the technical literacy to engage credibly in architecture-level trade-offs Structured, self-driven, and confident making good calls under incomplete information Why Coretura? Coretura is building the software backbone for the next generation of commercial vehicles. A joint venture between Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, we're building a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platform that redefines how commercial vehicles are engineered, updated, and monetized — one platform robust enough to serve multiple OEMs, while giving each owner room to differentiate in their own markets. We're in active build mode: fast-moving, still shaping our own structures, and set on making software the center of gravity in trucking. Next steps Ready to build the future of commercial vehicles?
