WHY DEPT®? We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA. We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter. At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build. THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Value Advisor to join DEPT®'s growing Adobe practice in North America. In this senior consulting role, you will bridge business strategy, financial analysis, and executive-level advisory to help Adobe's largest Digital Experience customers quantify and realize the financial impact of their technology investments. You are the person clients bring in when a multi-million-dollar platform decision needs to become numbers a CFO will sign off on — building the value hypotheses, economic models, and business cases that turn “we should modernize our DXP” into a funded, board-approved program. At this career stage, you are not simply presenting slides back to the client; you are running structured discovery workshops with CMOs, CIOs, CDOs, and CFOs, defending your assumptions in the room, and shaping how account teams talk about value across the entire engagement lifecycle. The clients you will serve are typically large enterprises — global retailers, financial services brands, media companies, and healthcare organizations — evaluating or scaling investments in Adobe's Digital Experience platform. They come to this conversation because they need to justify a renewal, build the business case for expansion, or prove that a transformation program already underway is delivering the return it promised. You will produce the artifacts that make that case: data-driven value hypotheses, ROI models built from customer data and industry benchmarks, industry-specific use cases and value stories, and reusable templates that scale your impact across other account teams. You will operate inside value realization frameworks such as Adobe's Value Realization Acceleration (VRA), partner closely with Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success during high-stakes milestones like renewals and expansions, and bring experience from agile program environments to keep your work synced with how delivery teams actually operate. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Build Financial Models and Business Cases: Develop data-driven value hypotheses, clear economic models, and enterprise-level business cases using customer data and industry benchmarks to quantify the financial impact of Digital Experience investments. * Lead Executive Discovery and Advisory Sessions: Design and facilitate structured discovery sessions and interactive workshops with C-suite executives — CMOs, CIOs, CDOs, and CFOs — to surface and frame growth, efficiency, and optimization opportunities. * Operate Within Value Realization Frameworks: Apply and evolve value management methodologies, including frameworks like Adobe's Value Realization Acceleration (VRA), to translate complex, technical software capabilities into measurable financial business outcomes. * Author Reusable Value Assets: Create executive-ready artifacts — industry use cases, value stories, and financial templates — that scale your impact beyond a single engagement and become reference material for account teams. * Partner Across the Account Team During High-Stakes Milestones: Influence without formal authority across Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success to align value narratives at renewal and expansion moments, and sync your work with delivery teams operating in agile and scaled-agile frameworks. WHAT YOU BRING * 5–10+ Years of Experience in Value Advisory, Consulting, or Financial Strategy: You have built ROI models and business cases in a customer-facing or consulting context, ideally with an MBA or equivalent quantitative background, and you know how to defend an economic model in front of a skeptical CFO. * Financial Modeling and ROI Analysis Expertise: You can build data-driven value hypotheses and enterprise-level business cases from customer data and industry benchmarks, and you're comfortable when a client pressure-tests your assumptions. * Executive Advisory and Stakeholder Management: You have led structured discovery sessions and workshops with C-suite executives and know how to frame growth, efficiency, and optimization opportunities in language that lands with CMOs, CIOs, CDOs, and CFOs. * Value Management Framework Fluency: You understand value realization frameworks — ideally including or comparable to Adobe's Value Realization Acceleration (VRA) — well enough to translate technical software capabilities into measurable financial outcomes. * Asset Creation and Cross-Functional Influence: You have authored reusable, executive-ready deliverables like industry use cases and value stories, and you can influence without authority across Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success during renewals and account expansions. Prior experience as a squad member or Scrum Master within agile program frameworks is a plus. Work Environment: Remote position - TRAVEL EXPECTED WHAT DO WE OFFER? * We are a collaborative, open-door, best-idea-wins environment that fosters personal and company growth and has fun doing it. Here is a snapshot of our benefits package: * Healthcare, Dental, and Vision coverage * 401k plan, plus matching * PTO * Paid Company Holidays * Parental Leave WE SUPPORT YOU BEING YOU: DEPT® is an equal opportunity employer (EOE). Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the Business Analyst will own financial planning and analysis for one of InMarket's three business lines: Audiences, Activation, or Measurement. Your focus is to uncover the why behind the numbers. You'll move beyond surface reporting to diagnose what's driving performance, illuminate patterns, and deliver a decisive point on what the data signals and which questions leadership should be asking. You'll equip business line leadership with the data, analysis, and recommendations they need to act decisively. This role demands AI fluency, with a demonstrated ability to build and automate using AI as an integral part of your daily workflow. Candidates who lack this capability will not advance, however compelling the remainder of their background may be. Core Areas of Responsibility Build & Automate with AI * Use Claude and similar tools daily to build and automate reporting across BigQuery, Solver, Business Central, and Google Sheets. * Reduce manual report-building time and stand up automated workflows * Script, prompt-engineer, and stand up small finance tools independently Insight & Analysis for Your Product Line * Partner directly with business line leads to move beyond surface-level metrics and diagnose the underlying drivers of performance, delivering root cause analysis rather than mere reporting. * Deliver monthly cohort and product-line analysis for your assigned line. * Introduce an external perspective through competitive and market benchmarking to refine and sharpen the questions we pursue internally. Cross-Functional Partnership * Serve as the connective tissue between Accounting and Revenue Operations, reconciling each team's perspective into a single, coherent picture. * Collaborate with the Head of Informatics to surface data integrity issues including but not limited to inconsistent definitions, broken joins, and gaps that erode confidence in the numbers. * Translate findings into clear, accessible narratives for non-finance stakeholders across the business. Impact & Success Indicators In your first 90 days * Develop comprehensive command of your product line's revenue model, principal drivers, and monthly cadence. * Establish at least one automated, AI-built reporting workflow that supplants a manual process. * Produce a root-cause analysis of a material variance that extends well beyond the surface metric. In your first year * Assume end-to-end ownership of the recurring reporting and cohort analysis for your product line, earning leadership's confidence in the numbers. * Proactively surface unsolicited insight that shifts a business line decision. * Cultivate a library of AI-enabled tools and workflows that the broader FP&A team can adopt and reuse. We're Looking For Someone With * AI-native skills: you already build and automate with AI tools such as Claude as a routine part of your workflow, extending well beyond conversational use. * Intellectual curiosity; an instinct to interrogate assumptions and look past the first plausible explanation for a variance. * Strong Google Sheets and Excel proficiency, complemented by facility writing SQL against BigQuery. * Openness to learning Business Central and Solver if you have not used them before. * A disposition toward rapid execution over exhaustive polish. * Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to make a data narrative resonate with a non-finance audience. * Preferred: Ad tech or digital media experience, along with prior exposure to an ERP (Business Central or comparable) and a planning tool (Solver or comparable). * Preferred: Experience as an investment banking analyst with demonstrable ability with modeling rigor, speed, and composure under pressure. Compensation & Benefits For candidates in California, Colorado, New York City, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, and Massachusetts, the targeted Base Salary Range for this role is $150,000 — $225,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, work experience, specialized skills and training, performance in the role, business needs, and job requirements. Base salary is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Base salary is just one component of InMarket's total rewards package, which may also include bonuses, equity, and benefits. Ask your recruiter for more information! Additional perks and benefits: * Competitive salary and stock options * Flexible vacation / Unlimited PTO (within reason) * Medical, dental, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) * Company Matched 401(k) * Paid Paternity & Maternity Leave * Agile Development Program for continued learning and professional development Equal Opportunity Employer At InMarket, diversity is not just a value; it's the very essence of who we are.
