SENIOR CI/CD ENGINEER Adyen is looking for an Infrastructure Developer for the In-Person-Payments Tooling team in Chicago. This role focuses on CI/CD Engineering, ensuring smooth and efficient software development and deployment processes, with a key area being Android / iOS development. You will be instrumental in creating and maintaining CI/CD systems and developing infrastructure tooling, essentially acting as the "glue" that binds code and infrastructure together. The position involves working on CI/CD for Android and iOS app development. The primary function is developing tools and applications to manage and interact with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to provide an elevated SDLC experience for the organization. This work involves close collaboration with developers, as well as teams building our on-premises infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, the Hashicorp stack, and our private cloud. You will be pivotal in ensuring our software development and deployment processes are smooth and efficient by creating and maintaining CI/CD systems and developing infrastructure tooling. Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Genesys Cloud Developer / Technical Engineer to join our internal development team. In this role, you will contribute directly to the design, development, configuration, and continuous improvement of our future cloud-based Genesys platform and the ecosystem of connected systems within the Contact Centre domain. You will work closely with architects, developers, product owners, and operational teams to build scalable, secure, and modern customer interaction solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our Brand Experience (BX) area. This role takes a holistic approach to Quality Assurance – from functional testing to automation engineering. You will be involved in designing and executing test cases, ranging from manual testing to writing end-to-end and integration testing with our test automation framework. Writing and maintaining automated tests is an important part of this role - but it’s not the whole story. You can have the chance to get involved in evolving our automation frameworks, improving CI/CD processes, and shaping how quality is approached across multiple brands. There’s real room to grow into these areas over time, with increasing ownership and impact as you develop within the team. You will work closely with other Developers, Tech Leads, Architects and Product teams to drive a strong Quality Engineering culture. Platform Monitoring Engineer / Incident Manager A team within Engineering under the Platform Excellence pillar exhibits an unwavering attention to detail and a deep understanding of the platform wide monitoring implications to all merchants. In this role, you will be on-call monitoring platform performance, coordinating and commanding incidents, communicating with our customers, working on monitoring frameworks, providing feedback to product engineering teams to improve the reliability of the platform. You will initiate and lead initiatives across our platform offerings prioritizing merchant impact to proactively detect any issues, inform merchants quickly, and increase the reliability of our platform. What you’ll do * On-call: The team operates in a follow the sun model, where you will be participating in the NORAM shift (shifts: 9.00AM - 6.00PM PDT, 11.00-8.00PM CDT). Observe platform and merchant performance and detect any issues proactively to mitigate risks in partnership with Engineering teams. * Incident Management: Coordinate the mitigation, recovery, and resolution of high-impact incidents, ensuring a rapid and effective response across teams.
