The Opportunity We are looking for two Tender and Project HSE Specialist to join the HVDC Service organization and play a key role in driving HSE excellence, with a strong focus on electrical safety, across a global project landscape. We are currently looking for a Project & Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Sweden! The Electrical Valve Design department is a part of Hitachi Energy HVDC Products in Ludvika. We as a department are globally responsible for electrical design and requirements of semiconductors based HVDC and SVC valves. HVDC valves are used to convert AC to DC, and vice versa, and are essential for HVDC power transmissions. SVC valves are used in SVC systems, to support and stabilize AC systems. We also are responsible for designing digital optical instrument transducers. These are state of the art and compact current measuring instruments suited specifically for HVDC applications. These current measuring instruments are used in different parts of an HVDC system, such as measuring the valve current to protect it against overcurrents and earth faults. It is also used for measuring harmonics and filter supervision. The Electrical Valve Design department in Sweden consists of 38 employees including the managers. We also have electrical design departments in India and China, who we work in close collaboration with. Our department is not only responsible for tenders and project deliveries, but also for productification of new valve solutions, life cycle management and provide technical support in upgrades & service projects. Your role We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior IT Architect to join our cross-functional team, Onboard Security & IT Architecture. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and governing the IT architecture across Saab's naval platforms, including submarines and surface ships. You will operate in a highly complex, mission-critical environment, working with a wide range of interconnected systems-both developed in-house and externally procured. Required qualifications A university degree in IT, engineering, software, or a related field (or equivalent extensive professional experience) Extensive, proven experience working as an IT Architect in complex and distributed environments Deep knowledge of IT architecture principles, methods, and best practices Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and govern large-scale IT solutions Strong experience translating business and system requirements into technical architectures Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written Desired qualifications Experience working in defense, aerospace, or other security-critical environments Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure system design Experience with distributed, mission-critical, or real-time systems Familiarity with architecture frameworks and tools Experience integrating heterogeneous systems (in-house developed and COTS) Experience working in complex product development environments Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and modern IT infrastructure technologies This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. Prepare and deliver regular internal and external performance reports. Conduct internal and external service reviews and support preparations for contract renewal. Identify and manage scope creep, ensuring additional requests are properly evaluated and not accepted by default. Incident Management Follow up on service-related incidents and initiate internal escalation when required. Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting to customers. Contract Execution Oversee contract fulfilment and adherence to service commitments throughout the lifecycle. Provide input for customer invoicing and oversee accuracy of billable service components. Support project establishment and service lifecycle transitions. Internal Collaboration Coordinate with internal sales, engineering, operations, and management stakeholders.
