Operators integrate their fixed and mobile voice services with our platform. This lets them offer businesses of all sizes a complete suite: fixed and mobile telephony, a cloud phone system, AI, integrations, analytics, collaboration, and omnichannel features. Telavox Group is growing and profitable, with +1.6bsek in revenue and +400 Telavoxers in nine countries. Our ambition is clear: building a global software company serving Operators. ABOUT THE JOB Our customers are MNOs and Cloud PBX & VoIP Carriers that distribute our UCaaS service as part of their own portfolio. Germany, Austria, and Switzerland together form one of the largest telecom markets in Europe, and a key growth market for Telavox. We are now looking for a seasoned, results-driven VP UCaaS to open doors at the highest level, win new business, and build our presence across DACH. This is a senior, pure hunter role. Your mission is to identify, prospect, and close new Operator and Service Provider partnerships across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, driving revenue growth for Telavox's mobile UCaaS offering. You report to the Head of Business Unit Telavox Platform, and initially the role has no direct reports. Main responsibilities: * Own new business end-to-end, from prospecting and pipeline building to negotiating and closing deals with Operators and Service Providers in the DACH region * Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline, build business cases, and forecast revenue against ambitious targets * Develop and execute the DACH go-to-market plan with Marketing, Product and leadership, and drive joint go-to-market initiatives with new Operator partners to help them win more end customers * Engage senior stakeholders across the Operator organisation and partner with Product, Engineering and Customer Service Delivery at Telavox to shape a winning offering and ensure successful delivery * Represent Telavox at industry events and in the DACH operator and channel ecosystem This role is remote/hybrid, most likely based in Germany. We offer a competitive senior package with base salary and attractive variable pay, and a real stake in the success you help build. ABOUT YOU You have done this before, with clear and proven success. You bring extensive experience selling telecom software to Operators and Service Providers, a track record of winning new logos and closing complex, high-value B2B deals, and a strong senior network across Operators in the DACH region. As a person, you are resilient, target-driven, and thrive on hunting new business, and you enjoy building something from an early stage. Key capabilities * Market insight and network: Comprehensive understanding of the DACH telecom landscape, regulation, and key players, with a strong C-level operator and channel network. * Telecom expertise: In-depth knowledge of VoIP, SIP trunking, UCaaS, and MNO/Service Provider business models. * Sales and partnerships: Proven in solution selling, building pipelines, negotiating complex contracts, and securing high-value partnerships. * Builder mindset: Thrives with high ownership in a growing market and is motivated by the opportunity to build the business, and potentially a team, as it grows. Degree in Business, Telecommunications, or similar; MBA is a plus. Fluent in German and English. Join Telavox as a Systems Engineer for Storage Are you a hands-on systems engineer who thrives in operational depth and wants to own the storage that the rest of engineering runs on? At Telavox, we run our own: our own Ceph clusters, on-prem Kubernetes, and a fleet of physical servers across six countries. We're providers of infrastructure, not consumers of cloud - a deliberate choice, and what our product and economics demand. Storage is where we're investing next. Ceph specifically is not a requirement. If you've run distributed or enterprise storage in production - Ceph, ZFS, Gluster, Lustre, MinIO, a vendor array - the instincts are what we're after, and we'll teach you ours. About the job This is a hands-on operations role. You'd own how our storage runs day-to-day - health, capacity, upgrades, expansion, and the operational foundations underneath it. You'll have real input into architecture, and you'll set the long-term direction with our storage lead rather than on your own. The emphasis here is deliberately operational - if making storage actually work, and being trusted to do it unsupervised, is the part you want, there's a lot of room in this role. Ceph (block and S3) is our main estate - real production storage, growing across regions, with Sweden the largest footprint. Your day-to-day would be mostly spent on things like: Keeping the clusters healthy - issues, monitoring, capacity planning, upgrades, and expansion across regions Getting the foundations right: stability, security, predictable scaling. Making the work repeatable - runbooks, upgrade procedures that hold across regions, automation for what's manual today You won't work in isolation from the rest of the platform: on-prem Kubernetes runs most of our workloads and has clear impact on the storage domain, and our Ansible-driven server and OS fleet spans six countries How we work together: You’ll join our Infrastructure Engineering team of around 15 people, working from our Malmö HQ, Gjuteriet, with international colleagues working remotely. English is our working language, and Swedish is a bonus. There’s no mandatory on-call rotation, although Compute and Storage have an informal secondary list. You’ll have real ownership from day one, with plenty of room to identify, propose, and implement improvements. We also use Claude Code across Engineering, and you’ll help explore how it can support our platform work. About you You treat automation as the direction and repetition as its trigger, you factor in risk from the start rather than discovering it at the end, and you're pragmatic enough to do the manual work until automation catches up. We're looking for: Real operational depth in distributed or enterprise storage - a system you've run in production, been on the hook for, and debugged under pressure. Which system matters far less than how deeply Strong Linux fundamentals - the substrate everything else sits on Comfort taking an unclear problem, scoping it, and seeing it through We strongly value experience with Ceph or object storage at scale, Ansible or similar configuration management, and operating systems across distributed environments. Experience with on-prem Kubernetes, server/OS lifecycle management, or firmware, BIOS, and BMC/IPMI is also a plus. We’re looking for someone at a mid-to-senior level, with growth focused on deeper expertise, broader ownership, and becoming the go-to person for storage across the organisation. This includes helping the operator acquire more end customers, expand its service offering, and generate more revenue through our platform. You combine a long-term perspective with a strong drive to create results, and you know how to balance customer value with commercial growth. You are structured, trustworthy, and proactive. You build credibility through your understanding of the customer's business, follow through on commitments, and know how to influence people without having direct authority over them. We are looking for someone with: * Several years of experience in strategic account management or senior B2B sales, ideally within telecom software, with operators, or in a service provider environment * A proven track record of owning and growing large, complex customer relationships, including strategic account planning, stakeholder mapping, and executive engagement * A strong understanding of the Nordic telecom landscape, including key players and business models, ideally combined with an established network within the operator ecosystem * In-depth knowledge of VoIP, SIP trunking, UCaaS, and MNO or service provider business models * Experience identifying commercial opportunities, developing business cases, and negotiating complex contracts, renewals, and expansions * Strong solution-selling skills and the ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into clear customer value and business outcomes * The ability to use data and commercial insights to support decision-making, identify opportunities, and drive account growth * Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with decision-makers at all levels * A collaborative and influential way of working, bringing together teams across different functions and organisations to achieve shared results * A bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a related field. Join Telavox as a Security Engineer 🔐 Are you a hands-on security engineer who enjoys being close to the code, the systems, and the teams building them? At Telavox, security is not a gate at the end of development. It is an embedded capability that enables us to move fast, safely, and at scale. Telavox is a fast-growing digital telco that combines the reliability of telecom with the agility of SaaS across Europe and across the globe. As our platform grows, security becomes a force multiplier, not just protecting what we build, but actively enabling engineers to ship better and safer software every day. We are growing our Security Engineering team and looking for a Security Engineer to join our engineering organisation. You will work side by side with our Security Engineering Lead, sharing the same mission and many of the same activities, and bringing your own depth and perspective to the team. Together you will make security a built-in property of every system we ship, by making the secure way the easy way for every engineering team. About the job As a Security Engineer, you are part of the engineering execution layer that makes security real across the Platform organisation. You work across product and platform teams, building paved roads, secure defaults, and standards that teams adopt as their own, instead of doing every team's security for them. You are a close partner to the Security Engineering Lead, who sets direction and priorities for the function. You complement each other: you share the work, challenge each other's thinking, and divide focus areas based on where your strengths are deepest. You also help bridge the gap between the CISO's strategic direction and day-to-day engineering reality, turning security goals into concrete engineering outcomes. Your day-to-day work includes: Build and evolve paved roads that make secure choices the default, such as vulnerability management workflows, secrets handling, and secure-by-default patterns in CI/CD Work cross-functionally with engineering teams, understanding their context and helping them adopt security improvements in a way that fits how they build Own and evolve vulnerability management, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, and secrets scanning across our code and services, and make sure findings actually get fixed Translate risks and requirements from customers, operators, audits, and the risk register into concrete, sized work for the right teams, and follow up so it lands and stays landed Triage and coordinate responses to emerging threats: assess severity, involve the right teams, and drive issues to resolution Share ownership of the security roadmap with the Security Engineering Lead, and take clear ownership of the areas where your experience is strongest The role is based either at our new HQ in Malmö or in our Stockholm office. About you You are a pragmatic, hands-on security engineer who enjoys working closely with engineering teams and across team boundaries. You are comfortable moving between code, tooling, and architecture discussions, and you care about making security scalable, practical, and usable. You are just as comfortable working independently as you are in a small team where you and a colleague share responsibility for a broad area. You believe security works best when it is distributed, automated, and embedded, not bolted on in the end. You lead through explanation and good defaults rather than gates and approvals. You think ahead about what embedded security looks like when engineering is increasingly AI-augmented: agent credentials, MCP and tool-use boundaries, and secure-by-default workflows for code that humans and models write together. We are looking for someone with: A hands-on background in software or platform engineering, with real comfort in the terminal, able to run scans, inspect output, and file a PR when needed At least 3-5 years of professional experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or a closely related technical role Demonstrated experience with the security tooling landscape, such as vulnerability management, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, and secrets scanning, understanding trade-offs, not just installation Experience building shared tooling, standards, or paved roads that other engineering teams adopt A teaching and enabling mindset: sharing knowledge, running hands-on deep-dives, and leaving capability behind rather than creating dependency Strong ability to collaborate with engineers across teams, influence without formal authority, and translate security risks into practical engineering work A collaborative way of working with a lead and peers, including sharing context, dividing focus areas, and giving and receiving honest feedback Fluent English, written and spoken. Swedish is a plus Join us at Telavox 💚 Since Telavox's journey started in 2002, we have strengthened our position as the leading forward-thinking communication platform for businesses. Join Telavox as an Engineering Manager We're looking for an Engineering Manager who wants to establish a new function in an environment of rapid growth, someone who can earn trust across engineering teams they don't manage and knows when to add structure and when to stay out of the way. You'll combine hands-on technical credibility with the judgment to know how much rigor a given moment actually needs. If you enjoy building structure for things teams already are working with on their own, working across team boundaries, and helping engineers get better at owning what they ship, this is your opportunity to shape how Telavox runs production. About the job Production Engineering (PE) builds lasting structure around how Telavox runs production: reliability standards, on-call setup, and change/release management. These aren't new topics for us; what's new is the dedicated ownership we're building around them, starting with you. Your role will be to open the ground here, prioritising whichever area you can move fastest on first. You'll work across teams you don't manage day-to-day, building the standards and processes that let engineering teams run production more reliably and change it more safely. Telavox supports operators across the Nordics and globally, and as we bring on more of them, keeping things reliable while we change them safely becomes strategically critical to how we scale. We expect this function to grow into a team over time. Your day-to-day work will include: Mapping today's practices (on-call, incident follow-up, release/change process) and turning what you find into a concrete starter kit or standards Owning the reliability foundation: error-budget accounting, paging, and runbook platforms Shepherding change and release practice, including our operator-facing change interface Working closely with engineering teams and their managers to drive adoption without direct authority over their roadmaps Identifying where AI-assisted tooling can meaningfully reduce toil (e.g., incident/RCA tooling) About you You're comfortable being one of the first names on a small, high-trust function, building credibility through hands-on delivery rather than a large team underneath you from day one. You may come from an SRE, incident management, or production engineering background, or from a release/change management and process background with strong technical grounding. Key skills and experience we're looking for: Experience with production reliability practices (SLIs/SLOs, incident management, on-call) and/or change & release management in a live, customer-facing platform Comfortable driving standards and adoption across teams you don't formally manage Confident operating with ambiguity: the structure around this work is still taking shape Solid technical grounding, enough to be credible in incident command or architecture-adjacent conversations Strong communicator, able to work with engineering teams, EMs, and external operator counterparts alike Experience from a SaaS or B2B environment, ideally having felt firsthand where formal change-board processes cause pain or friction Join us at Telavox 💚 Since Telavox's journey started in 2002, we have strengthened our position as the leading forward-thinking communication platform for businesses. Join Telavox as a Backend Software Engineer – AI Assist 🤖 Are you a backend engineer who wants to see AI run in production, not in a demo? AI Assist turns every recorded phone call on the Telavox platform into a transcript, a summary and action items for the people who took the call. We are looking for an engineer who is at home where distributed systems, telephony, and large language models meet. In this role, placed in Malmö or Stockholm, you'll build and run the services behind AI Assist: turning a finished call into text and insight, and delivering the result to our apps and our admin portal. You'll work in a small team with a lot of ownership, shaping what to build together with the product manager day to day, and what you ship reaches real customers and partners the same week. If you'd like to take the next step in your career and are excited by the challenge of making AI dependable at scale, this is your opportunity! About the job AI Assist is live today, sold both directly and through telecom operators across Europe, and usage is growing month over month. You'll join the team that owns it end to end, from the transcription pipeline to the APIs our apps and customers use. Much of the work is classic backend engineering with an AI twist: asynchronous processing, third-party model APIs, access control, metering, and data that has to be handled correctly under GDPR and EU data-residency requirements. You'll work side by side with a colleague focused on model evaluation and transcription quality, with the AI Agents team next door building our AI agent platform, and with the telephony, apps and platform teams whose systems yours plug into. Our stack: Java and Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Google Vertex AI with Gemini and other model providers for transcription and analysis. Your day-to-day work may include: Designing, implementing and testing new capabilities in the AI service, from summaries a customer can shape themselves to the controls an admin needs to roll the product out. Evolving the transcription pipeline together with the telephony and platform teams. Integrating LLM and speech APIs in a production setting: asynchronous processing, quotas and rate limits, and keeping data within the EU. Building the APIs that serve transcripts to our apps, our admin portal and our customers, with access control and data retention done right. Owning what you ship: observability, alerting, and the follow-up when something fails. About you You're a product-minded backend engineer who likes owning a service from design to production, and who is comfortable in a system that spans several teams and a telephony platform with two decades of history. You care about correctness where it matters (who may read what, what is stored for how long, what a customer is billed for), and you enjoy the pace of a small team with customers and partners waiting for what you build.
