That’s where Martech comes in, right where marketing meets tech. Marketing has plenty of ideas about how we can reach our users in

smarter, more relevant ways, and making them happen takes someone who understands both the data and the people behind it.

As our new Data Engineer in Martech, you’ll be the bridge. You’ll translate marketing ideas into technical solutions, and explain

technical possibilities and limitations in a way that makes sense to Marketing. You’ll dig into a setup that has grown over time,

work out what’s what, and help shape what it should become.

It’s a role with real impact and plenty of room to make your mark. You won’t just be maintaining something. You’ll help build the

foundation for more intelligent communication that helps people find their way home.

What you'll be up to 🍏

You’ll support Martech as an area, owning both the day-to-day operation of what we have today and the development of what comes

next. Keeping things running is only half the job. The other half is moving us forward, from where we are to where we should be.

Who we think you are 🤩

You’re a self-starter who takes initiative and gets things done without waiting to be told. You also have the people skills to

read the room. You check in, ask the right questions and make sure you’re heading in the same direction as everyone else before

you run. In addition you’re curious and eager to learn. You enjoy digging deep, untangling tricky problems and figuring out how

things actually work.

In short, you’re:

• A team player. You win with the team, not on your own.

Requirements

• Experience building and running API integrations with external platforms in production, ideally a CRM or marketing platform,

including rate limits, monitoring and incident handling.

• Experience working closely with non-technical teams, including turning their needs into technical solutions, explaining

trade-offs and setting expectations.

• Hands-on experience with analytical databases or data warehouses.

Hi, I am Helena and will be your new manager. A little about me: I’m engaged and I care about the people around me and about the

work we do together. I see each person as an individual, and I see my job as giving you what you need to succeed and grow. That

will look different for everyone, so I’ll be asking and listening a lot in the beginning.

You can expect me to be clear and direct, and to bring structure so we know where we’re going and why. I’d rather say things

openly than leave you guessing, and I expect you’ll do the same with me.

I believe this team has the potential to deliver the really exciting things, the kind that make Hemnet the very best property

portal, and I want us to do more of that. Getting there also takes groundwork, from the platform to data quality, and I’m excited

to take that on together with you.

I also have a technical background in data, so I have a pretty good grasp of what goes into the work, and I still enjoy building

things myself.

Our vibrant office in central Stockholm is the hub of our collaboration and culture, providing a lively space that fosters team

spirit. We come together in the office three days a week, with two flexible remote days. To be part of our team, it’s essential to

be based in or near Stockholm.
