Meet Yubico
Yubico is a global leader in identity security and creator of
the YubiKey, the original hardware-backed passkey. We are publicly traded on Nasdaq Stockholm; our global footprint includes
headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, Silicon Valley, California; and Singapore.
Why Join Our Mission?
At Yubico, we are guided by a shared belief that your work matters. We operate under a cultural philosophy of Speed with
Integrity, pushing the boundaries of technology to secure the AI frontier—protecting both human and agentic AI
interactions—and leading the transition to post-quantum cryptography. In everything we do, we live by our core values:
- Battle Friction: We constantly look for new ways to simplify our products, our work, and the user
experience.
- Inspire Higher: We think big, champion the open internet, and strive to do the right thing
even when it is difficult.
- One Team: We are open, responsive, and collaborative, overcoming challenges
and celebrating our successes together.
Aligned with our commitment to open standards, we foster a thriving builder
ecosystem through the Yubico Developer Program, offering free open-source repositories, libraries, and SDKs to help developers
rapidly integrate strong hardware authentication into any application. Through close collaborations with technical partners like
Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, as well as newer frontiers like OpenAI, we continue to shape a safer digital world while donating
security keys to protect vulnerable communities, journalists, and humanitarian groups worldwide through our Secure it Forward program.
At
Yubico, we offer:
Yubico Values: We work to ensure that our employees have an open space to have
their voices amplified to create a workplace where everyone feels like they belong. In support of this, our employees have created
some pretty cool Employee Resource Groups that foster inclusion, help build community and connection across Yubico. Additionally,
Yubico donates YubiKeys to organizations in need all over the world (you can read more about our work here).
Social Connection: Relationships
and connectedness matter, and we love spending time with our team! Our virtual workspace keeps us connected day-to-day whether
it's through Yubico celebrating wins or our buzzing Slack communities. Check out our Life at Yubico Page on LinkedIn and

The Role
Are
you an experienced operations leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys being close to the operation and the
team?
As Senior Operations Manager you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient
execution of Yubico’s day-to-day operations at our Stockholm site, covering production, programming, laser marking,
product customisation, inventory management, warehouse operations, and order fulfilment and dispatch.
This is a
hands-on operational leadership role. You will set priorities, solve problems, develop people, and ensure the
operation consistently delivers against customer and business commitments. You will have overall responsibility for operational
performance across safety, quality, service, inventory accuracy, productivity, cost, and people development,
while building the processes and capabilities required to support Yubico’s continued growth.
You will lead a team of
approximately 9 people today, with expected growth to around 12, and will work closely with colleagues across
Supply Chain and the wider organisation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Stockholm, five days per
week.
Success in the role means that the operation delivers reliably every day while continuously improving.
Customer orders leave on time and at the expected quality, inventory is accurate, risks and problems are addressed early, and the
team understands its priorities and takes ownership of performance. At the same time, you will build the people, processes,
systems, and capabilities needed for Yubico’s operations to scale successfully.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for day-to-day operational execution across production/programming,
inventory, warehouse, fulfilment, and despatch, ensuring orders are produced and shipped accurately and within agreed service
levels.
- Set daily and weekly priorities and allocate people, equipment, materials, and resources based on
demand, capacity, inventory availability, and wider Supply Chain requirements.
- Stay close to the operation,
proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks, disruptions, and operational issues, including the execution of large, unusual,
or time-critical orders.
- Ensure materials, equipment, and workstations are available and ready to support
production and fulfilment requirements.
- Manage relevant third-party operational suppliers and temporary
staffing partners, including local procurement, kitting, external production, and seasonal workforce requirements.
- Own operational KPIs across safety, quality, service, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost,
using structured daily management to identify deviations and drive corrective action.
- Use data, root-cause
analysis, and corrective actions to resolve performance issues and prevent recurrence.
- Drive continuous
improvement across workflows, material flow, workplace organisation, capacity utilisation, and productivity.
- Develop and maintain standardised processes, SOPs, and working practices that improve reliability, scalability, and
operational discipline.
- Identify and support opportunities to improve operations through new technology,
equipment, and automation.
- Own inventory accuracy and ensure alignment between physical inventory and
Yubico’s ERP/WMS records.
- Ensure effective processes across receiving, storage, replenishment,
material movement, picking, packing, and despatch.
- Maintain robust cycle-counting and inventory-control
processes, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and sustainably resolved.
- Ensure appropriate handling,
storage, traceability, and security of products and materials, both internally and through external partners.
- Ensure operations
comply with Yubico’s safety, quality, security, and privacy requirements.
- Build a strong safety
culture by proactively identifying hazards, addressing risks, and maintaining appropriate working practices.
- Ensure quality requirements are embedded into daily operations and that deviations are identified, documented, investigated,
and resolved.
- Partner with Quality, Security, and other relevant functions on investigations, audits, and
improvement activities.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Operations team, setting clear expectations, accountability, and priorities while fostering a
collaborative and high-performing working environment.
- Own workforce and capacity planning, including
recruitment, temporary staffing, and ensuring the right competencies are available to meet operational requirements.
- Manage performance effectively while developing future operational leaders and creating appropriate ownership within the
team.
- Foster a culture where problems are surfaced early, people take ownership, and continuous improvement is
part of everyday work.
- Ensure disciplined and accurate use of ERP, WMS, and other operational
systems, with system transactions accurately reflecting physical operations.
- Act as a key operational
stakeholder for changes to systems, equipment, and processes affecting production, inventory, and fulfilment.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Development and Operational Excellence to design, implement, and embed scalable
operational processes.
- Anticipate future capacity, space, equipment, technology, and organisational requirements
as operational volumes and complexity increase.
- Work closely with Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics,
Customer Service, Quality, Engineering, IT, Security, and other functions to ensure effective end-to-end execution.
- Provide clear visibility of operational performance, capacity, constraints, and risks to Supply Chain leadership and
relevant stakeholders.
- Partner with Planning to translate demand and supply requirements into executable
production and fulfilment plans.
- Contribute operational expertise to broader Supply Chain projects and
collaborate with colleagues across Yubico’s global operations to share and develop best practices.
Basic
Qualifications:
- Significant experience leading hands-on warehouse, fulfilment, production,
manufacturing, or similar operations, with end-to-end responsibility for daily operational performance.
- Strong track record of leading, coaching, and developing front-line operational teams, including workforce
planning, performance management, and recruitment.
- Strong practical understanding of inventory
management, warehouse operations, order fulfilment, and production or light-manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to manage operations through KPIs, structured problem solving, root-cause analysis, standardised

- Comfortable working directly with front-line teams while also
managing broader operational priorities, stakeholders, and development initiatives.
- Strong organisational and
prioritisation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong
communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to provide clear visibility of operational performance, risks,
and requirements.

skills.
- Practical experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous-improvement
methodologies is an advantage.
