The role World-class legal AI is built on world-class legal data, and getting that right is one of the most critical and complex challenges at Legora. Every jurisdiction holds billions of pages of critical legal text scattered across hundreds of sources: statutes, case law, regulatory guidance, secondary materials, and more. Only about 3% is publicly accessible on the web. The rest is buried across courts, agencies, and archives. Getting this right doesn't just improve a product feature — it shapes how lawyers around the world navigate legal information for the next several decades. As a Legal Analyst at Legora, you will work at the heart of this challenge from day one. You'll contribute to mapping the legal source ecosystem, learn how we prioritize what we go after, and quickly take on real responsibility as you grow into the role. Few positions offer a more direct line to Legora's ability to navigate the law correctly — or a steeper learning curve. What you will be doing Contribute to building the best AI-native legal research product in the world, fueled by high-coverage, high-quality legal data Work closely with product lawyers and engineers to shape the legal data layer for the age of AI Map out the legal data landscape across key jurisdictions; learn how statutes, case law, secondary sources, and regulatory content interrelate, and build a clear picture of what exists, where it lives, and how it connects Conduct deep dives into individual sources, assess available material, document types, commercial value, and the legal preconditions for data acquisition Prioritize data acquisition based on client demand, user value, and Legora's broader data coverage strategy Who you are A newly graduated lawyer with a strong academic background and a sharp eye for detail You are excited about what AI is doing to the legal industry — and eager to be close to that shift from the very beginning Someone who finds legal source theory and jurisdictional complexity interesting, not intimidating — the kind of lawyer who has always enjoyed going deeper You are thorough and precise, with a natural attention to detail Curious, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where the answer isn't always obvious What's in it for you The legal data infrastructure you help build will be what lawyers across the world use to navigate law for decades to come Real responsibility from day one, with a clear path to growing into a senior role as Legora scales Career development opportunities at one of the fastest growing AI companies in the world Legora is an Equal Opportunity Employer At Legora, we believe great teams are built on diversity of thought and experience. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can do their best work. We welcome people of all backgrounds and don’t discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts. If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place. The role As a Data Scientist at Legora you will turn data into decisions. You'll sit close to the business, taking questions end-to-end: shaping the metric, modelling the data in dbt, running the analysis, and making the recommendation. You'll pull in new data sources when you need to, but the underlying instrumentation and platform belong to our data engineering team. Insights are useful; impact is what we hire for. We're an AI-first data team. We believe the data function should be redesigned around what AI now makes possible, not retrofitted with it, and we want someone excited to help define what that looks like in practice. There's no single profile we hire for. Some of us are strongest at data modelling and analytics engineering, some at experimentation and causal inference, some at machine learning, some at stakeholder influence. You'll likely be excellent at one or two of these and competent across the rest. That's the bar. We're a small, centralised team supporting the whole company, hiring for the person, not the seat. Depending on your strengths and where we have the biggest gap when you join, you could be embedded primarily with: Product: instrumentation, feature adoption, user behaviour, A/B testing, shaping the roadmap with PMs and designers. Finance & RevOps: ARR, NRR, forecasting, board reporting, pricing analytics across a 40-country footprint, and unit economics for an AI-native product. Growth & Marketing: acquisition funnels, attribution, campaign measurement, lifecycle analytics, and what actually moves enterprise legal buyers. GTM & Customer Success: pipeline analytics, customer health, expansion signals, and retention drivers in a category that didn't exist three years ago. You'll partner directly with leaders across Product, Engineering, Finance, and GTM, most of whom are unusually data-fluent and will happily open a SQL editor with you. Your work will directly influence how we prioritise, how we sell, how we price, and how we build. What you will be doing Partner with stakeholders across Product, Finance, GTM, Growth, and beyond to translate ambiguous questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations. Define the metrics that matter, design the experiments or analyses that test them, and measure the impact of what we ship. Conduct deep-dive analyses on the questions that move the business, and proactively surface the questions nobody is asking yet. Model the data you need for your work in dbt, pulling in new sources when necessary, and partner closely with data engineering on anything that needs to scale beyond your immediate use case. Build dashboards and reporting that scale beyond you, so the company can answer its own questions where possible. Help shape how the data team operates as we scale: standards, tooling, ways of working. What you'll need Strong proficiency in SQL and Python. Solid grasp of data modelling and what it takes to build analytical work that is reliable and trusted. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence decisions through data storytelling, including pushing back when the data doesn't support what someone wants to do. Genuine depth in at least one of the following, with competence across the rest and curiosity to grow: Data modelling and analytics engineering (dbt, dimensional modelling, semantic layers, self-service) Experimentation and causal inference (A/B test design, quasi-experiments, statistical rigour) Machine learning and applied data science (forecasting, prediction, segmentation, evaluation) Product analytics and metric design (funnels, cohorts, adoption frameworks, North Star metrics) Nice to have Experience in a product-led or SaaS environment, ideally B2B. Hands-on experience with our stack: Snowflake, dbt, Hex, Dagster. Prior experience as an early data hire at a fast-growing company, i.e. you've built the muscle, not inherited it. Most importantly, you are someone who "Gets stuff done" and understands building a $10bn company isn't always glamorous and takes hard work and long hours. Thrives in a fast-paced environment where the answers aren't always clear and processes are few. Is genuinely domain-curious. You don't need to have worked on every part of a business, but you should be excited to. We’re not just shaping the future of legal tech — we’re defining it. Ready to join us in building the intelligent future of law? What you’ll be doing Let's get the tricky part out of the way: this role doesn't fit neatly into a traditional box. It's part legal ops, part product specialist, part solutions architect, and part client whisperer. If you enjoy roles that stay static, this probably isn't it. Your mission is to help our clients, some of the most prestigious law firms in the world, get the absolute most out of our platform. Some of what you'll be up to: Acting as a thought partner to law firm partners, associates, and innovation teams - building trusted relationships, addressing tricky pain points, and identifying high-value opportunities for them to scale their use of Legora across practice groups. Working together with Go To Market and Customer Success in taking full ownership of firm relationships - from running pilots with key practice areas, to onboarding new associates and partners, and ultimately guiding full-firm adoption across global law firms. Be the voice of law firm users inside Legora - sharing insights from M&A teams, litigation departments, and other practice groups that directly inform product development, roadmap priorities, and strategic direction. Delivering clear, confident product demos and training that bring the power of our platform to life - whether you're presenting to a single practice group or rolling out firm-wide. Documenting best practices from leading firms, contribute to the development of scalable playbooks, and help shape how we grow this function globally. Confidently helping law firms navigate one of the biggest shifts in how legal services are delivered - from evaluating the ROI and competitive advantage of AI to clearly mapping how AI will impact different practice areas, from corporate to disputes. What you bring You come from the world of Big Law; but you've never been content with how things have always been done. You may have trained and practised at a top-tier law firm, experiencing first-hand the pressures of billable hours, client demands, and operational inefficiencies. Perhaps you've moved into legal innovation, knowledge management, or legal tech within a firm. Maybe you've even left private practice to disrupt the status quo through a legal tech company, or ventures of your own. Either way, you know how law firms think, work, and (sometimes) struggle and you're ready to help them level up with technology. You'll thrive in this role if you: Have a background in law, with experience at a top-tier law firm - ideally across multiple practice areas or with exposure to firm-wide initiatives. Are tech-curious and product-savvy. Not necessarily a coder, but passionate about navigating technical conversations, especially around things like generative AI, technology implementation, innovation and productivity. Communicate clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders, from senior partners to graduate trainees, and from lawyers to engineers. I.e. translating across disciplines is second nature to you. Bring structure to ambiguity and energy to complexity; and enjoy being the calm, credible presence in a fast-moving environment. Understand how to evaluate and improve existing processes as a direct result of new and emerging technologies - whether that's streamlining due diligence, contract review, or legal research. Are proactive, self-directed, and comfortable juggling multiple firm relationships at once. Care deeply about quality, but don't get stuck in perfectionism - you get things done, and you make them better over time. Understand the commercial realities of law firm life: billing pressures, client expectations, competitive positioning, and the delicate balance between innovation and risk management. A few more things We're a fast-growing company with bold ambitions, so you'll be joining at a time when things are moving quickly - in the best possible way. You'll have a lot of autonomy, a lot of responsibility, and the chance to genuinely shape how this function evolves. Everyone here has a founder-mentality. If that sounds exciting rather than terrifying, we'd love to hear from you. Legora is an Equal Opportunity Employer At Legora, we believe great teams are built on diversity of thought and experience. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can do their best work. Role: Head of Lawyer Support Location: Poole/Hybrid - 4 days per week in our office. ABOUT WOODSTOCK LEGAL SERVICES: Woodstock Legal Services isn’t your typical law firm. We’re breaking the mold – ditching the jargon, delivering expert advice, and doing things differently in the legal world. We've gathered our wisdom from years of legal experience and paired it with a willingness to break the mold. At Woodstock, you’ll be part of a people-first culture where ideas are welcomed, collaboration is second nature, and your contribution really matters. We invest in our internal teams because we know they’re the engine that keeps everything running and we’re proud of the culture we’ve built together. About Woodstock Legal Services & Lawhive Partnership The Woodstock vision was to create a law firm that felt different, one where lawyers had true freedom and flexibility within a community of grade A lawyers and the best operational and regulatory support on offer - all while ensuring our clients remain our constant focus. Since 2014, Woodstock has grown into a thriving community of lawyers, built on the principle that legal practice can be both professional and personal. We set out to create a place where lawyers have the freedom to shape fulfilling careers, and where clients benefit from clear, expert advice delivered with genuine care. That vision remains at the heart of everything we do. By joining the Lawhive Group, we are strengthening this vision - combining the trusted relationships and values that define Woodstock, with innovative tools that ease the pressures of legal work. This means our lawyers can dedicate more time to what matters most: guiding and supporting our clients. THE ROLE We're looking for the senior operator who will own Lawyer Support end-to-end and make Woodstock the easiest place in the UK to practice law. You’ll own the Lawyer Support function end-to-end. The team, the systems, the SLAs, and the standards. Making sure our lawyers have a setup that lets them focus on practising law and serving clients. This is a department-level leadership role. You’ll be responsible for a function of 30+ people, managing through experienced team leads and managers rather than directly supervising the front line. You will be accountable for the performance, capacity, culture, and continuous improvement of the function, and you’ll work closely with the wider Lawhive Group to integrate tools, data, and operating practices that move us forward as one business. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable leading at scale, has done it before, and is energised by the chance to modernise how a legal support function runs, not just keep it ticking. The right person is a builder: confident with change, fluent with data and tooling, and able to bring a large team with them. WHAT YOU’LL OWN * Lead the Lawyer Support function at Woodstock: a team of 30+ working across our digital inbound channels (Intercom) and overseeing the document centre, which handles printing, posting, and storage. * Run the Printing and Post operation. Inbound and outbound mail, document production, scanning, distribution, and the physical workflow that keeps casework moving. * Manage through managers. Develop, coach, and hold accountable a team of team leads and managers; build a leadership bench that scales as we grow. * Set the operating model: structure, capacity planning, shift patterns, SLAs, and the metrics that prove we’re delivering for consultants and clients. * Own the quality bar. Make sure file opening, consultant support, and print and post are accurate, fast, and audit-ready at all times. * Drive change. Lead the adoption of new tooling, automation, and AI-enabled workflows across the function, in partnership with Lawhive’s product and operations teams. * Partner cross-functionally with Lawhive’s Operations, Talent, and Product teams. * Represent Lawyer Support in senior forums. * Be the senior point of escalation for complex consultant issues and operational risk. * Own the budget and headcount plan for the function, working with Finance and the Director of Operations. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST 12 MONTHS * A stable, well-led function with clear team structures, defined manager roles, and a credible succession plan underneath you. * A published operating model with documented SLAs, capacity model, and a live performance dashboard the leadership team trusts. * Measurable improvements in turnaround times, accuracy, and consultant satisfaction across file opening, consultant support, and print and post. * At least one significant tooling or automation change shipped end-to-end, reducing manual effort and freeing capacity. * Lawyer Support recognised across the Lawhive Group as a high-performing, well-run function. WHAT YOU’LL BRING * Proven experience leading departments of 50+ people in a support, operations, or service environment. Ideally including a regulated industry such as legal, financial services, or healthcare. * A track record of managing managers, not just individual contributors. You’ve built and coached a layer of leadership underneath you. * Strong, modern operations instincts: capacity planning, SLA management, workforce planning, performance management, and quality assurance. * Tech-forward and change-confident. You’ve led teams through meaningful change (new tools, new processes, automation, AI) and you can show what changed and what it delivered. * Comfortable owning a physical operation as well as a digital one. Print, post, scanning, and document workflows are part of this role. * Calm, credible communicator. Comfortable in front of senior stakeholders, lawyers, and your own team. * Data-literate. You make decisions from numbers, not vibes, and you can build the dashboards and rituals to keep a department honest. * People-first leadership style. You set a high bar and build the kind of team people want to stay in. * Comfortable being in the Poole office three days a week, working alongside the team you lead. NICE TO HAVE * Prior experience in a law firm, legal services, or another regulated professional services environment. * Exposure to LEAP or similar legal practice management tooling. * Experience operating in a high-growth, PE- or VC-backed environment. LOCATION AND WORKING PATTERN This role is based in our Poole office four days per week. The remaining one day can be worked remotely. We expect the Head of Lawyer Support to be physically present with the team they lead, particularly during periods of change and growth, and to be on-site for the days the print and post operation is running. INTERVIEW PROCESS * Introductory call with our Talent team * Operational leadership interview. A working session on how you’d approach a real Woodstock scenario. * Values interview with Leadership * We offer! UK Benefits ✈️ 33 days’ annual leave (25 + bank holidays) plus your birthday off 🎄 Extended Christmas holiday 💰 Pension contribution ☮️ Give back - support a good cause with a charity day each year
