As an operations technician at heating and water plants, you play an important role in controlling and monitoring the plants and machinery that produce and distribute electricity, steam, and hot water. You also control facilities for waste incineration as well as the extraction, purification, and distribution of water. Additionally, the work includes controlling cooling and ventilation machinery to ensure smooth operations.
