ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Consultant, Strategy & Renewal, you work at the intersection of executive strategy consulting, AI-enabled transformation and business process renewal. In addition to hands-on consulting work with clients, the role requires involvement in sales, shaping opportunities as well as contributing to internal development within the service line. In client work, you help organizations to lead an AI transformation by designing the strategies, building an impactful business and operations, and co-developing effective and sustainable operating models and the capabilities. Your work typically begins by understanding the client’s current state, defining an ambitious yet realistic target state, creating a feasible strategy and /or roadmap for transformation, and driving change to create impact. In this role you will work with Finland’s Consumer and Commercial sector organisations especially focused on the retail industry. Previous experience from retail is required. Your home base will be Helsinki or Tampere, with a flexible hybrid setup and some travel to client sites in the future within the Nordics. What helps you succeed * 3–7+ years of relevant experience in management consulting or in an in-house role driving digital, technology, data or AI strategy and transformation especially in retail * Experience from the past two years in leveraging AI, and technology for business and process development. * Sales capability in strategic services * Confidence working with C-level stakeholders * Strong storytelling and PowerPoint skills — you can turn complex topics into clear, compelling executive-level narratives * Solid experience designing and facilitating workshops that bring structure, clarity, and alignment * Experience acting as a delivery lead, leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring quality and outcomes * A relevant university degree (business, technology, industrial engineering, etc.) * Familiarity with business design, service design, lean startup or agile approaches is a plus * Strong communication skills in English and Finnish. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Principal in our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data offerings, leading business development, and driving strategic digital transformation for our clients — while staying close enough to the technology to be credible in the room and useful on the ground. This role bridges business strategy, organizational change, and hands-on data and AI solutions. You will act as a senior advisor to client leadership, helping them unlock measurable business value from their data assets — but you'll also roll up your sleeves: reviewing architecture decisions on platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP, weighing in on tool choices (e.g. Databricks vs. Synapse, warehouse vs. lakehouse setups), and occasionally getting into the weeds of a proof-of-concept or data strategy workshop.
