PRODUCT OWNER - CUSTOMER RISK Are you ready to redefine the financial industry? Are you looking to leave an impact on the financial lives and futures of over 2.5 million customers across the Nordics? Then Nordnet is the place for you! IN BRIEF At Nordnet, we exist to ensure the most inspiring savings experience. Through leading UX, cutting-edge financial products, and automated and inspiring customer journeys, we are building the best platform for savings and investments, enabling higher returns for our customers. Nordnet is customer-focused and product-led. We are now seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead our teams working closely with Customer Risk within the Product Platform area. These teams build the systems that keep Nordnet and our customers safe: customer due diligence, risk classification, politically exposed persons and sanctions, enhanced due diligence, and the information we provide to authorities. 2027 is an exciting time to join as the new EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR) applies from July 2027, and you, together with our Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) department will drive the product side on how Nordnet meets it, for private customers, minors and companies across our Nordic and German markets. We are looking for someone who can carry that work and keep building the product long after the deadline has passed. The Product department consists of the Chief Product Officer, Area Product Owners, and Product Owners within the different domains. THIS IS PART OF THE ROLE As Product Owner for Customer Risk at Nordnet, you own the product vision, roadmap and delivery for our anti-money-laundering and customer-due-diligence platform. You translate regulation into products that are compliant by design, efficient for our operations teams and as smooth as possible for our customers. On a daily basis, you work with a skilled, AI-first engineering team, our FCP experts, Compliance, and the teams that work on customer sign-up and customer data. Together with FCP and Compliance, you turn regulatory requirements into clear product decisions, and help other teams build it right the first time. Key responsibilities * Product innovation: Shape the due diligence and customer-risk experience so it is compliant, efficient for operations and low-friction for customers. * Roadmap ownership: Lead the team roadmap by defining feature scope and prioritizing deliverables in collaboration with business owners and stakeholders. * Stakeholder communication: Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding roadmap progress, changes, and potential blockers. * Risk & compliance: Proactively identify and mitigate product risks while ensuring all features meet stringent regulatory and legal standards. * Engineering leadership: Guide development teams through complex technical problem-solving to deliver impactful products and a high-performance user experience. THIS IS YOU You have built products in, or worked closely with, FCP, and you care about why the rules exist, not just what they say. You have an interest within savings and investments and you have previous working knowledge and experience from digital product development within the financial service sector. You are comfortable saying "not now" and explaining why. You take a "low-ego, high-impact" approach. You take ownership of outcomes, stay calm and structured under pressure, and make the people around you better by sharing what you know. You have: * A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as product owner or similar role within onboarding, risk assessment, customer due diligence or FCP in a bank, broker, fintech, payments company, consultancy or RegTech provider. * Passion for creating smooth customer journeys, even where regulation adds friction. * Ability to navigate the complex, competitive, and regulated finance landscape * High personal initiative with a natural ability to lead by example, inspire others, and drive results WE OFFER Nordnet started from a passionate belief that changing the hierarchical financial world was possible. You will become part of a journey that has only just begun towards the vision of making our customers the best investors they can be. 30 years ago, Nordnet redefined the financial world as the first digital bank in Europe. Now we're doing it again, building the next generation of cloud-based banking. That takes the right people, the right team, and the right technology. Want to help shape security at Nordnet? We are Nordnet’s security team We are Nordnet's central security function covering information security, IT security, secure development, incident response, and physical security. We believe security is solved together, not in silos, and that every team member brings their own expertise and takes ownership of the team's shared results. We also believe that working as a tight team allows us to have more fun at work! As Information Security Officer, you'll have a broad mandate within information security at Nordnet. This includes: * Shape and develop our security posture. Establish and enforce organizational security policies based on strategy, priorities, and legal/regulatory requirements like DORA and CRA. * Manage third-party risk management end-to-end. Conduct security assessments and build clear security requirements into vendor contracts. * Build security culture and awareness. Create impactful, engaging awareness programs and communications that make security second nature across the organization. * Lead security projects. Drive key security initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally to push our goals forward. You'll report to the Head of Security. The Security Team includes operational Team Lead roles, and for the right person this could be a natural next step down the line, though it's not a requirement to apply now. If you're up for it, there's also an option to join our on-call rotation, covering a couple of weeks during the year as first responder for security incidents. About you You bring solid experience in information security, frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST CSF 2.0 are second nature, and ideally you've also worked with DORA in practice, and potentially have started to work with CRA. Five or more years in the field is our starting point; a background in financial services and a technical foundation are a strong plus, since we're a digital bank. You're as comfortable creating engaging security communications as you are digging into the fine print of a regulation. You can independently structure and drive your own area of responsibility, and you have the ability to talk security risk with both the leadership team and the engineers, pitched right for each audience. You take a pragmatic approach to risk: the goal is an adequate level of security relative to the threat, not eliminating every conceivable risk. You know that good security work is built on collaboration and compromise, not solo effort. You're fluent in written and spoken English. Swedish isn't required, but it's a plus. About us We're building a world-class customer experience with the ambition to become the first choice for savings and investments across the Nordics. You'll join a tight-knit, driven team with a fast pace and real room to make an impact, part of an organization of 900+ employees across Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki and Copenhagen. We apply individual salary settings. The role is full time employment with a hybrid workplace based in Stockholm. Learn more about us at www.nordnetab.com Questions & applications Questions about the role? Contact Talent Acquisition Partner Lovisa Malmberg, lovisa.malmberg@nordnet.se, +46 73-699 05 07.
