THE OPPORTUNITY IN A NUTSHELL You? A high-stakes negotiator with "black belt" experience in closing multi-million deals across the Nordic media and retail landscape. Role? Our Nordic Commercial Partner—the strategic spearhead who will unify Vend’s footprint and turn fragmented ad-hoc spends into dominant, long-term framework agreements. Company? Vend, home of FINN, Blocket, Tori, Oikotie, DBA & Bilbasen. We are the Nordic powerhouse where millions connect, giving us the first-party data to challenge anyone. Location? Join us in Oslo or Stockholm with a flexible 3-day remote policy. Why us? This isn’t just a sales role; it’s a market-shaping position. You will act as the commercial umbrella for our largest partners, leveraging Vend’s unique first-party data and value proposition to spearhead our breakthrough in the Nordic retail segment. This is your chance to reclaim advertising budgets through high-impact partnerships while driving the Recommerce revolution across the region. Sounds like your cup of tea? Check out the details below! WHO ARE YOU? A Master Negotiator: You have a proven track record of navigating high-stakes, C-level negotiations and closing complex deals across Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. Strategically Senior: You possess the gravitas and presence needed to sit across from CMOs and Agency Heads, positioning Vend as a business-critical partner. Media & Retail Expert: You are fluent in the language of attribution, conversion, and ROI, with a deep understanding of the Ad-Tech and retail media ecosystem. The Connector: You thrive in the "Nordic Strategy, Local Excellence" model, building trust internally by bridging the gap between HQ strategy and local market nuances. Outcome-Driven: You are obsessed with moving the needle from tactical, short-term spends to predictable, "Always-On" revenue. WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE? The Mission: Secure the Nordic Footprint Your primary mission is to eliminate fragmentation. You will be the single, powerful point of entry for Nordic agency hubs and major retail HQs (like IKEA, Elkjøp/Elgiganten, and H&M). You don’t just win a contract in one country; you ensure that win becomes a framework for all four markets. Day-to-Day & Key Projects The Deal-Maker: Lead the negotiations for our largest regional partnerships, ensuring we capture the maximum "share of wallet." The "Always-On" Pivot: Transitioning our biggest accounts from one-off tactical spends to long-term, predictable framework agreements. Performance Advocacy: Using our unique first-party intent data to prove Vend’s ROI, actively challenging budgets traditionally held by global platforms. Collaborative Power: Working in lockstep with local Sales Managers—you provide the "strategic weight" on C-level, while they maintain the local operational ownership. Success in Year 1 Success means you’ve successfully converted key tactical partners into long term agreements, significantly increased cross-border account value, and played a pivotal role in hitting our growth ambitions. THE CHALLENGE TO TURN INTO AN OPPORTUNITY! The challenge? Transitioning a multi-market organization from a tactical mindset to a unified, strategic one. This requires someone who can handle the tension between regional control and local execution. The opportunity? You get to architect the commercial scaling of advertising across the Nordics' leading marketplace group. You will be responsible for elevating our advisory sales to a regional level, ensuring we maximize our share of wallet through unified partnerships. This is your opportunity to create a legacy by professionalizing how large-scale retail media is positioned and sold, turning our market-leading marketplaces into the primary choice for Nordic advertisers. Day to day, you will draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, oversee capital-markets compliance and disclosure obligations, and support the ongoing corporate transformation alongside the CEO, Managing Directors and the board. You communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, know when to escalate and when to act, and take real ownership of your agenda. In addition, you have: A law degree and qualification as an attorney or equivalent. 5–8 years of post-qualification experience, ideally from a combination of private practice and in-house. ⚡️ What We Do Flower is Flexible Power. We are a next-gen energy company leveraging AI and machine learning to make renewable energy stable and always available – even when the sun isn't shining and the wind isn't blowing. Through smart optimization and trading of energy assets like wind and solar farms, battery systems, and EV chargers, we make renewable energy reliable and predictable, leading the charge towards the energy system of tomorrow. 🌟 Who We Are Tech company at heart – purpose in our DNA. Flower consists of a diverse group of innovative individuals with a strong desire to improve the state of the world. At Flower, we believe trust, collaboration and diversity are essential to not only create an inclusive work environment, but also drive career growth. By embracing varying perspectives, we allow creativity and progress to flourish. To accelerate towards our goal of becoming the pioneering force powering the energy system of tomorrow, we are now looking for a passionate and skilled Grid Manager to join our Asset Development domain. About the role As our Grid Manager, you will help Flower build a project portfolio that is adapted to the markets of tomorrow by enabling the best possible grid conditions of our projects. You will help Flower maintain its competitive edge by combining deep technical analysis of grid conditions with proactive TSO/DSO engagement. This is a role with real ownership - you'll ensure that acquired and developed projects are feasible and optimised for long-term value, as well as identify and mitigate connection risks early so projects stay investable and execution-ready. You will play a key part in shaping how Flower develops its grid capabilities as the business grows - making this a role where your expertise and input genuinely matter beyond the day-to-day. What you'll do Lead technical grid due diligence for acquired and in-house BESS projects; dig into connection offers and agreements and identify the red flags others miss Act as Flower's technical interface with TSOs and DSOs: define the right questions for each project phase, identify uncertainties, and ensure that possible restrictions are identified and understood. Evaluate and mitigate connection restrictions and translate them into clear project impact and risk assessments. Support local and external developers in their dialogues with grid operators, keeping conversations focused on what actually matters at each stage to cut timelines and optimize the connections. Own structural and legal grid risk screening and coordinate closely with our Legal team. Manage risks arising from connection structure changes: e.g switching of connection point or voltage levels, tariff impacts, availability requirements and grid code updates. Represent Flower in grid policy discussions and working groups - including forums that shape the future of flexible grid agreements in Germany and Europe - to actively influence the conditions in the markets we operate in. Serve as the go-to grid expert internally across EPC, Asset Ops, Trading, Strategy, and Commercial, and work closely with Market Intelligence and Finance to make sure grid risk is properly understood and priced across the business. Who you are You have 5-10 years of hands-on experience with grid-related topics, either at a grid operator or on the developer side. You understand what it takes to get a large BESS project connected in Germany - the technical complexity, the regulatory landscape, and the relationship dynamics with TSOs and DSOs. You're equally comfortable in a detailed connection agreement as in a room with senior stakeholders. Specifically, you bring: Solid experience with grid connection processes in the German power system - the regulatory framework, the key players, and the realities of getting things done with German TSOs and DSOs. Fluency in both German and English: this is essential. You'll be working directly with German grid operators, reviewing German-language technical documentation, and representing Flower in German-language forums. Strong interpersonal and network-building skills. The relationships you build with TSOs, DSOs, developers, and policymakers are as important as your technical knowledge. The instinct to identify future developments in the energy system and understand what they mean for Flower's business case. A problem-solving mindset and the confidence to make judgement calls in ambiguous situations without waiting for perfect information. An engineering or similar technical degree is a plus, but what matters most is that you know the space deeply and can work autonomously at a senior level. 📍 Location Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Södermalm, just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage in-office collaboration but support a hybrid work model. ✉️ Apply Our corporate language is English, as we have about 30 nationalities in the office. We therefore appreciate it if you could submit your CV in English. Throughout the recruitment process you will meet with the Talent Partner, the Team, and the VP of Asset Development. We look forward to hearing from you! —- We kindly but firmly decline any engagement in recruitment assistance for our hiring processes. This includes partnership offers or the sale of recruitment tools.
