Your Mission You will be the technical expert for mechanical systems and cooling infrastructure, ensuring high equipment availability, efficient operation and long-term reliability. Your work directly impacts production stability, energy efficiency and product quality. What You Will DoMaintenance & Reliability Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, furnaces and cooling systems. Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and thermal systems. Lead fault diagnosis related to cooling, temperature control and process stability. Monitor temperature, pressure and flow systems. Prevent and manage risks related to overheating, leakage and reduced cooling performance. Maintain technical documentation and maintenance records. Continuous Improvement Drive root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions. Apply preventive and predictive maintenance methods. Improve equipment reliability, uptime and energy efficiency. Identify recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions. Support and mentor colleagues within the maintenance organisation. Equipment & Industrialisation Participate in the installation and commissioning of new production equipment. Support FAT and SAT activities. Validate cooling systems, thermal processes and mechanical functionality. Ensure systems are operational before production start-up. The role In this role you will design and test fluid handling systems and components, focusing on thermal performance, flow, pressure, and materials compatibility. The Data Center Engineer (Mechanical Equipment) will be responsible for ensuring the overall operation and maintenance of all cooling and associated mechanical / electrical / controls equipment within the nominated Datacenters. This equipment supports mission-critical servers and must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. The Data Center Engineering Technician (Mechanical Equipment) will continue to maintain high reliability and performance while keeping operating costs in facilities at a minimum, the engineer will drive innovation to reduce operational costs. About the Role As a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering full lifecycle commissioning services for critical facilities and complex mechanical infrastructure systems. You will support the planning, coordination, execution, testing, and verification of mission-critical mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting and executing commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle. Participating in the MEP design review process. Developing and executing MEP test procedures and operating procedures. Witnessing and verifying static and dynamic testing of mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Reviewing project drawings, specifications, and technical submittals. Performing site inspections, field observations, and condition surveys. Preparing reports, punch lists, meeting minutes, and project documentation. Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. Supporting troubleshooting activities and resolving technical issues during commissioning. Ensuring compliance with safety requirements, local regulations, and industry standards. Acting as a technical representative for the client while maintaining the highest professional standards. About You We are looking for an experienced and driven professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You bring: A Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience. At least 5 years of experience in mechanical commissioning within critical environments. Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of heavy mechanical systems. Extensive knowledge of chilled water distribution systems and commercial HVAC systems. Experience with:HVAC cooling systems Chillers and cooling towers AHUs and fan coil units Process water systems and treatment Humidification systems Fuel transfer systems Smoke extraction and pressurization systems Building Management Systems (BMS) SCADA, PLC and EPMS systems Experience interpreting operational data such as temperature and humidity trends. Understanding of communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and Ethernet. Experience working within mission-critical facilities and data center environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a global team environment. Din profil Vi söker dig som har erfarenhet som underhållstekniker eller från liknande teknisk roll inom produktionsindustrin. Du har ett genuint intresse för teknik, med ett engagemang för att inte bara laga saker när de redan gått sönder, utan även se till att hålla saker i bra skick. Du är van vid teknisk problemlösning och logisk felsökning och vi tror att du som minst behöver ha en grundläggande förståelse för elscheman för att trivas i denna roll. I ditt arbete är du strukturerad, ansvarstagande och lösningsorienterad och du trivs med att arbeta både självständigt och i team. För att lyckas i rollen tror vi att du har: Erfarenhet från motsvarande roll i produktions- eller tillverkningsmiljö. Ett genuint teknikintresse. God svenska och engelska i både tal och skrift.
