Om tjänsten Som resande servicetekniker hos KMC får du en varierad och självständig roll där du ansvarar för installation, service, underhåll och felsökning av deras maskiner ute hos kund. Du arbetar med utrustning inom bland annat blästring, trumling, ytbehandling, pressgjutning och balansering. Arbetet innebär många resor inom Sverige och ett antal hotellnätter per år. Du kommer även att resa till deras leverantörer i Europa för utbildningar, maskinbesiktningar och tekniska genomgångar. Arbetsuppgifter I rollen kommer du bland annat att arbeta med: Installation och driftsättning av nya maskiner. Mekaniskt underhåll, service och reparation av industriella maskiner. Felsökning och åtgärd av akuta driftstopp. Förebyggande service, maskinbesiktningar och underhåll enligt serviceplan. Uppgraderingar och modernisering av befintlig utrustning. Teknisk dokumentation och rapportering av utfört arbete. Teknisk rådgivning till kunder kring drift, underhåll och förbättringar. Identifiering av behov av reservdelar och framtida uppgraderingar. Vi söker dig som har en teknisk bakgrund och erfarenhet av mekaniskt underhåll, service eller installation inom industrin. Du har god förståelse för industriell el, kan läsa elscheman och har erfarenhet av felsökning. Har du arbetat med styrsystem eller PLC är det meriterande. Vi ser gärna att du har: Teknisk utbildning på minst gymnasienivå inom exempelvis mekanik, el, automation eller motsvarande. Erfarenhet av mekaniskt underhåll, service och installation inom industrin. Goda kunskaper inom industriell el och felsökning. Förmåga att läsa ritningar och teknisk dokumentation. B-körkort. Goda kunskaper i svenska samt engelska i tal och skrift. Som person är du självgående, lösningsorienterad och trivs med ett arbete där du planerar din vardag och tar stort eget ansvar. A snapshot of your day Imagine leading exciting refurbishment projects for our gas turbines, where you play a central role in ensuring both technical and economic success. As a project manager within Mods & Ups, you will follow established processes and be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution. The work involves close collaboration with customers and the project team to deliver tailored solutions, ranging from delivering a new turbine on an existing or modified package to smaller control system upgrades. The position requires some travel to customers and local representatives, but projects are primarily managed from the office in Finspång. What you'll do Right now, we are looking for a Process Engineer – Hydrogen Production & Direct Reduction for our Green Iron Operations. The team is responsible for optimizing process performance, supporting safe and stable operations, and driving continuous improvements across our hydrogen production and direct reduction plants. Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following, but as we are a growing company with very few silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well. * Provide day-to-day process engineering support to ensure safe, stable, and efficient plant operations. * Monitor plant performance, troubleshoot process upsets, and lead root cause analyses to improve reliability and operational excellence. * Optimize process performance through process modelling, heat and mass balances, debottlenecking, and energy efficiency initiatives. * Support hydrogen production and direct reduction operations during commissioning, start-ups, shutdowns, and operational changes. * Review and develop engineering documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, SOPs, and process control strategies. * Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Automation, and OEM partners to improve process performance and implement engineering solutions. * Drive continuous improvement projects, monitor production KPIs, and prepare technical reports to support data-driven decision-making. * Promote safe operations by supporting process safety activities, hydrogen safety standards, PTW/LOTO compliance, and technical training. Specific to this role, we'd like to see that you bring: * A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline. * Solid experience in process engineering within heavy industry or continuous process environments, such as hydrogen production, gas processing, petrochemical, steel, refining, or similar industries. * Experience supporting commissioning, start-ups, process optimization, or operational improvements in an industrial setting. * A strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals, with the ability to analyse complex systems and turn insights into practical solutions. * Confidence working across disciplines and collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Automation, Engineering, and external partners to achieve shared goals. * A proactive, structured, and safety-first approach, with a continuous improvement mindset. * Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
