The Opportunity The High-Power Laboratory is accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025 as an independent testing station and is a member of SATS Certification and STL (Short-circuit Testing Liaison) and we are one of the few unique High-Power Laboratories in the world. The Laboratory is a large test facility for high voltage products with a variety of non-routine electrical and mechanical test procedures. Its main purpose is to perform high quality testing, both in the development of new products, and in certification of the products for the global market. The clients to the Lab come from both Hitachi global organization and external Hitachi companies. Being a part of the Maintenance Team at the High-Power Laboratory is an important and interesting challenge and a key role to keep the Laboratory operation at the forefront. The team, that consists of approx. 5 persons, handles the maintenance support of the full Laboratory plant. The maintenance was insourced 1 Jan 2025 and is currently in a development stage with new system etc. Responsibilities also in new projects and installations, as well as decommissioning of old equipment. Gnothis technology integrates a wide range of cutting-edge sciences ranging from nanotechnology, photophysics, optics, surface chemistry, biochemistry and computational science. Your role We are looking for a dedicated embryologist with a strong commitment to quality and safety.You are a highly motivated embryologist, with a passion for improving the success rates for our couples. The post is ideally suited for you with at least 3 years of hands on clinical experience. You need to be up-to-date with the latest advances in clinical embryology, and aim for the highest level of quality in every task you undertake. Key Responsibilities: - Perform all clinical embryology and andrology duties following appropriate training and competency assessment. - Participate in laboratory maintenance tasks and assist in validation within the laboratory. - Assist in the management and maintenance of laboratory equipment. - Oversee the procurement of laboratory products and services. - Adhere to all standard operation procedures. - Inform patients of treatment options, and treatment outcomes and discuss the implications. - Meet laboratory key Performance Indexes for all critical laboratory tasks. - Assist in the implementation of decisions regarding the embryology area. Qualifications and experiences - Life sciences degree - PhD or Masters in reproductive science is preferred. - At least 5 years of hands-on clinical embryology experience. Arbetsuppgifter Arbetet kommer att utföras vid Hyltemossa Forskningsstation utanför Perstorp och Geocentrum II i Lund. Huvudarbetet kommer att kopplas till de kontinuerliga övervakningsprogrammen vid Hyltemossa station. Detta inkluderar främst de omkringliggande mätningarna inom ICOS (Integrated Carbon Observation System). För att säkerställa jämförbarhet mellan mätningar kommer det också att innefatta mätningar och assistans för forskningsprojekt baserade vid Hyltemossa. Fältarbete kommer att inkludera vegetations-/jordprovtagning, skogsinventeringar, installationer och underhåll av utrustning. Laboratoriedelen består av att sortera strö från Hyltemossa gran-skog i olika fraktioner samt bearbeta vegetations och jordprover.
