DESCRIPTION Sinch Telco is a standalone business within Sinch. Our products propel communications services for mobile operators and enterprises around the globe. We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer with focus on AI-driven Development, to accelerate adoption of AI-powered development practices across Sinch Telco. In this role, you’ll be a hands-on practitioner, leveraging AI agents to design, build and deliver software while shaping how AI is applied in real engineering environments. Together we will move toward a paradigm where software developers manage teams of specialized virtual AI agents for requirements analysis, implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment. As our Principal Software Engineer, you will: Act as a highly productive, hands-on software engineer using AI agent orchestration to deliver features and products across multiple areas Define, evolve, and scale best practices, workflows, and tooling for AI-assisted development across coding, testing, documentation, and deployment. Evaluate, select, and configure emerging AI development tools and agent frameworks. Create reusable agent configurations, custom instructions, and workflows tailored to the organization's codebases. Partner with engineers, architects, and product managers to define clear requirements and product direction using a product management-informed perspective. REQUIREMENTS 8+ years of software engineering experience with proven ability to design, evaluate, and evolve software architectures. Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and system integration. Experience with telecom systems, BSS/OSS, messaging infrastructure, or CPaaS is a plus. Hands-on experience applying AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, in real-world software delivery, not just experimentation. Experience working with AI-driven and agent-based development workflows, including autonomous coding agents and multistep task orchestration. Ability to define clear, structured, and decomposable requirements for both engineers and AI agents, with strong product awareness and understanding of the “why” behind solutions. Practical experience with Model Context Protocol, tool-use patterns, or equivalent integration standards for reliable multi-agent/tool orchestration. Experience with multi-agent frameworks such as CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph is a plus. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts, document approaches, and collaborate effectively across teams. Generative AI & Deep Learning * Design and fine-tune LLMs (Gemini, GPT-4o, Llama, Mistral) on proprietary banking corpora using PEFT and LoRA for tasks such as SAR narrative generation, dispute summarisation, and customer communication. * Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems grounded in internal knowledge bases — policy documents, fraud rulebooks, regulatory circulars — with vector stores (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, ChromaDB). * Apply Computer Vision and NLP to multimodal data pipelines (cheque images, KYC documents, audio call transcripts) for identity verification and fraud triage. • Develop generative models (GANs, VAEs, Diffusion) for synthetic data augmentation to address class imbalance in fraud datasets while meeting data-privacy obligations. * Build prompt engineering frameworks using LangChain and LlamaIndex; implement chain-of-thought and agentic reasoning for complex investigative workflows. Engineering & Delivery * Write production-ready Python code adhering to Valtech engineering standards — unit-tested, type annotated, and reviewed. * Operationalise models with MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI Pipelines) covering versioning, A/B experimentation, drift monitoring, and automated retraining. * Expose model outputs via FastAPI or Flask microservices integrated with banking middleware and case management platforms. * Work within Agile delivery squads, participate in sprint planning, demo sessions, and client-facing workshops. We're hiring a senior engineer for Content Agent - Sanity's operations layer for structured content. It's the system that turns content work (bulk edits, audits, translation, publishing) into things an agent can actually run. It lives in Dashboard, Studio, Slack, and behind a headless API. If you've spent time on AI systems that have to hold up for real users, not just in a demo, read on. At Sanity, we build an AI-powered content operating system that lets teams model, create, and automate content the way their business actually runs. SKIMS, Figma, Riot Games, Anthropic, COMPLEX, Nordstrom, and Morningbrew run their content operations on it. Content Agent is the part of the product that understands structured content - schemas, references, field types, validation rules - and can be trusted to operate on it correctly. You'd be doing full-stack product work in TypeScript and React: MCP tools and integrations, agent orchestration, system prompts, evals to make the whole thing more reliable. Engineers on this team own their domain and work closely with product on what gets built next. WHAT YOU'D BE DOING: * Full-stack product work: React interfaces in Dashboards, APIs, backend services. * MCP tools and integrations that extend what the agent can do. * Agent loops: the orchestration logic that decides what the agent does, in what order, and when to bring a human in. * System prompts. You don't want to be boxed into one layer. * You've shipped LLM-based systems in production. You know the hard part isn't getting a model to do something once; it's getting it to do the right thing for every user who shows up. * You think in systems. Given a new agent capability, you think through user intent, edge cases, failure modes, and what that means for the architecture: what the agent knows, what tools it has, when it escalates. * You write well and you care about why one phrasing works where another doesn't. An agent's instructions are prose running on a system that reads literally. Writing them well takes a feel for how language lands, not just what it says - who "you" refers to, what's implied versus explicit, how a sentence will actually be parsed. * You're comfortable with probabilistic systems. Improving an LLM product means running experiments, designing evals, reading results statistically, and not chasing individual failures when the aggregate trend is what matters. Department of Ecology The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) is one of Northern Europe largest academic hubs for ecological research and offers a dynamic and excellent research environment with modern infrastructure. The Department of Ecology has about 150 employees, of whom around 40 work at the Grimsö Research Station in Bergslagen. Together, the SLU Ecology Centre and Grimsö Research Station conduct research on sustainable agriculture and forestry, plant protection, nature conservation, and wildlife management, and provide scientific knowledge to inform Sweden and Europe’s environmental policies. About the position Project Can we foresee the outcomes of public policies, political choices and other decisions? We are finding out by developing serious games and running them using AI. We are building large-scale simulations of societal processes (environmental negotiations, nature conservation policies, and hybrid-threat scenarios) in which every actor is an autonomous AI agent powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). These agents simulate real-world stakeholders, from government ministers to interest groups, and interact through natural language in complex strategic settings. We then run thousands of iterations to map the distribution of outcomes. This effort is part of a new research program Articulating Complexity ( https://www.slu.se/articulating-complexity/ ) hosted at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and led by Guillaume Chapron (Docent). What we look for * Experience: 10+ years of hands-on industry DS/ML experience, with a focus on either: * ML Engineering: Building/maintaining production-grade cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) that supports deployment of ML applications and monitoring ML model performance. * Data Science/AI: Applying advanced techniques in LLMs, agentic systems, vector databases, fine-tuning, and deployment tools (e.g., HuggingFace, Langchain). * Hands-on experience working with Distributed Spark based systems * Experience with data engineering concepts or a good understanding of data engineering concepts * Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients across a variety of industry markets.
