Strong understanding of Automotive, LiveScience and Telecommunication sectors and good technical understanding and commercial awareness. Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Tools, SharePoint, and proposal automation platforms (e.g., Copilot, Other AI Tools) is an asset. APMP certification is a plus. Both levels are genuinely considered; the appointment will reflect the experience and profile of the successful candidate. The ideal candidate at either level combines technical depth in data systems with the ability to engage meaningfully with governance, policy and stakeholder dimensions – and to translate between these registers. The role sits at the technical–policy interface that characterizes SEI’s comparative advantage. We are not looking for a pure engineer or a pure policy analyst, but someone who understands data systems well enough to make credible technical contributions and is intellectually curious about the institutional, political and governance dimensions of how data is managed and shared in complex settings. Mid-level researcher – A mid-level researcher will have demonstrated the ability to work independently on analytical and data-intensive tasks within research projects. They will have some experience contributing to funding proposals and may have secured smaller grants or project components, though not necessarily in a leading role. They may have worked within teams or independently without formal management responsibilities, and will have an emerging publication record or equivalent demonstrated output in applied research settings. Senior researcher – A senior researcher will have a demonstrated track record of independently mobilizing research or innovation funding, including having led funding applications, not only participated in teams led by others. They will have successfully secured funds both for their own work and to support others, and will have held leadership positions with responsibility for more junior staff. They will have built a recognized area of work, evidenced through a sustained publication record, a portfolio of funded projects or equivalent standing in applied or policy research communities.

Coordinate the sequence of MEPF works on behalf of the GC Track, monitor and report on MEPF progress daily whilst monitoring manpower and equipment deployed across the sites Review of progress against resources and forecast required resources to be deployed in order to meet / recover schedule Offering MEPF contractors’ advice on long lead equipment handling, installation, and commissioning Ensuring MEPF contractor provided equipment for installations and testing is secured well in advance Review the quality of the MEPF installation whilst it is work in progress to minimize reworks Advise MEPF contractors of client’s best practices and standards. Communicate clients’ expectations to the MEPF teams Work with the MEPF contractors to close out comments and nonconformance reports Review the MEPF contractors ITP’s, Inspection notices, pre-commissioning and commissioning plans and procedures with the aid of the commissioning manager Provide guidance to the MEPF contractors on installation and coordination at site Review and determine acceptable deviations from the design / shop drawings Coordinate with the LLE vendors for equipment delivery, installation, testing and commissioning. Review reported VS actual progress at site to verify contractor is on or behind schedule Provide MEPF contractors with guidance on commissioning and oversee MEPF L1-L3 commissioning Interface and support clients Cx team for L4-L5 commissioning Management of MEPF contractors through to handover (TOC). Review MEPF variations or change to scope and liaise with the commercial team for approval. Identify potential risks and challenges related to MEP systems and develop mitigation strategies. Implement and enforce quality control standards for MEP installations. Develop and manage the project schedule for MEP installations, coordinating with other construction activities. Facilitate effective communication between different project teams, subcontractors, and clients. Facilitate the handover of MEP systems to the building owner or operator. Lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism. Clearly define roles and responsibilities for each MEP team member on the project.
